We benchmarked our systems personally, and so far, they’re working.

We didn’t have a real timeframe, but as long as it didn’t take too long, our team was flexible. We asked for more direct communication on timeframes, and Rubyroid Labs communicated effectively and delivered. In the beginning, we had to figure out communication, but after that, it was very smooth. We used email and Slack.

Rubyroid Labs is professional and on time.

No, the management was great, and the follow-up was wonderful. The programmer assigned was fantastic, and we continue to build a relationship. I look forward to our next upgrades and working with Rubyroid Labs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Rubyroid has enabled our very small software engineering team to deliver more features to support our company's business goals. This has led to higher user engagement, new customers in our sales pipeline, and new tools for our marketing team to use to optimize conversion. Additionally, Rubyroid's engineers have allowed us to make progress on accumulated technical debt.

Rubyroid Labs has been excellent with timelines and communication. We have direct contact in our company's Slack and communicate daily about ongoing work and new projects. We give feedback on work through Github PR review and Rubyroid is responsive in addressing our comments. 
They are also good at communicating when something is not going well, which I appreciate. For example, if the project spec doc contains something that isn't compatible with our systems, or if they are having trouble with a part of our codebase and need a partner. It has led to a good working relationship and code.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have been continually impressed by Rubyroid developers' ability to work with our large, existing codebase. They are able to implement new features that touch many files, track down bugs, and make technical changes with minimal guidance. I also appreciate that our specific developers have shifted their work hours to provide some overlap with our company's work day. This allows for much faster communication.

After a thorough review of the customer's solution, Rubyroid's UX/UI designer, Anna, made a list of ways to make it better. The aim was to enhance the end-user's item discovery process and create a personalized shopping experience.

Rubyroid Labs provided support in transforming the admin panel and refactoring some legacy code, which made the project more stable. They also included a customized quiz to gather insights into potential clients' interests and requirements, enabling us to tailor their shopping experience accordingly.

• The marketplace has been successfully redesigned to meet the customer's requirements, and has received positive feedback regarding its functionality, usability, and navigation.

• Additionally, we had to address issues related to legacy code and order processing

Their project management style has proven to be effective, as they were able to stay within the expected timelines and budget. Communication between our teams was transparent, with Jira being utilized to manage the project, and Slack being used for daily communication. Although daily meetings were brief, they were still informative.

We were particularly impressed with the quality of work delivered by their designer, as well as the speed at which their engineers were able to contribute to the project.
