We hired Rubyroid labs to design a CRM software.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found this vendor online. I wanted to use a modern language and they use Ruby which is what Twitter is built on. I met with a few other companies but they seemed the most organized and professional.

We designed the CRM in Figman and used Slack/Google Drive apps to communicate and stay updated.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with around 4 people, project managers, designers, developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They were very efficient in their planning. I was very impressed by how structured and organized they were.

We used spreadsheets to manage projects as well as programs such as figma. They were always on time and communicative whenever I had questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were very impressed by how organized they were. They were also very honest in how they work. Always there to make time for you as well. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wouldn't change much.

We had a recent conversion from PHP/MySQL to Ruby on Rails/PostgreSQL. The developers left us with many issues that needed to be resolved.

I found them here on Clutch, and interviewed them along with many other developers, in the US and abroad.

They were able to quickly learn our very complicated website and address all the items that needed to be repaired.

They were able to successfully communicate and repair almost all of the issues.

Their communication was impressive: regular updates and meetings via Slack.

We needed a connection to the Microsoft API to display the data from "MS ToDo" on a smart mirror.

mirr.OS is based on ubuntu core and the part they're working on is written in ruby an vue.js.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It works like a charme and we could release the feature within the release of mirr.OS v1.8.

The project management was great. The cooperation ran smoothly, communication was well structured and we were well looked after at all times during the project period.

The quick and uncomplicated familiarization with our software as well as the independent, well-considered work was very good.

Perhaps a more elegant payment process.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Typically, our Japanese clients are very meticulous about the quality of their systems. However, none of Rubyroid's work has received any complaints.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Rubyroid effectively managed their time, delivering every feature before deadline. Whenever bugs or delays arose, the team would either correct for them or help us find alternatives to keep the systems working properly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

For one project, they took over a system that was developed and maintained by another company; they carefully read the source code in order to fully understand the details of the system.
