Testcoach is a product owned by S.Chand Group. S. Chand is one of the largest publishing houses in India, covering books from K-12 up to higher education. I'm the head of the product. I am responsible for all the development, content, and marketing of the product.

This was the first time S.Chand invested in a digital product for government recruitment exam preparation zone. We initiated with Robosoft Technologies for this project, and they delivered it as per the requirement.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of this project is to enable students preparing for government recruitment examinations like banking, SSC, and railways with one-stop solution for their preparation with good quality content.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected Robosoft Technologies seeing the type and quality of platforms they delivered before assigning our project.

Testcoach, as a product, was completely developed by Robosoft Technologies. It involves App, Web, CMS and all the designs. Functionality Testing, Load management etc. They handled this project in every possible way.

What was the team composition?

The team assigned to our project was led by Mahesh who was the project manager. He was my point of contact. Most of the deliveries related to App/Web or CMS were on time. The team involves designers, web developers, app developer, Manual QC, and Project Manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Testcoach was designed in order to facilitate aspirants preparing for the government recruitment examination. This product is designed in accordance with the vision of S Chand Group - "Empowering Minds". This product is in the market and getting the acceptability and it will soon be a milestone in the journey of S.Chand Group towards its destination.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project flow was really professional since the sharing of mockups until the delivery of the final production product. Most of the deliveries on time. My overall experience with Robosoft Technologies was good.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The thing that I found most impressive about this company was the type of understanding as I had worked with other development companies as well but the level of understanding that I found with Robosoft Technologies was really good. Interaction with the project manager was usually good and most of the things they delivered were exactly the same as expected. Iterations were there as it was a part of product but still the understanding of work is very good.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would like to add a few suggestions as follows:

• Cost for each and every functionality should not be involved if you are delivering the complete project. For example - data reports for a project should not be chargeable.
• Suggestion for improvements in any project (not in scope but related to easiness) should come from their side as well.
