First of all we've heard about Rivo.Agency before, but most important is that Rivo made the best unique brand story, key features and design for us, so we didn't have to hesitate and decided to work with them.

Their development team has discussed with us the whole project scope, figured out the goals, resources and UI/UX nuances.

Originally the site has been written on Laravel, but due to the expansion of functionality was moved to WordPress, since we've needed more flexible and convenient structure for customers and site management in general.

Rivo's PM suggested the ScrumBan methodology, which we have found comfortable and understandable. Other technologies used: Bootstrap, Particles.js and Google PageSpeed.

As the project is still ongoing we are currently working with 4 people: PM, frontend and backend developer, and designer.

We've managed to increase the site's usability, the number of visits increased significantly, therefore more happy customers.

We've enjoyed working through the ScrumBan methodology, very flexible, this was a great time saving decision. Our teams were using Zoom and Skype for the communication process.

A project as ours requires creativity while building the brand, and we've found it quite impressive how Rivo's design ideas suited our needs from the very beginning.

Moreover, it requires permanent technical support and professional content marketing, including search engine optimization. We happily continue working with Rivo, so seems like that would be the answer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The thing we were worried about was the quick implementation of ongoing edits, some of the edits could have been done a bit faster.

They also added codes and users to our Google analytics because we needed that to help with our Google Ads campaigns. Finally, they edited content on site pages, including our “Contact Us” page.

That was WordPress, as we needed a site that would be easy to manage and update. They’ve also divided the project work on tasks and milestones and realized it in sprints according to the Scrum methodology.

After their designer created the frames for the new pages, developers have started to implement them according to the plan. The team has created a project architecture and built the clean and good structure code. The project was done on time and followed by responsive technical support after.

After our site was updated, both design and structure, we’ve seen an increase in traffic, as it became more mobile optimised and the well-built UI/UX design helped our customer navigate through the site, understand our services, so it became more recognisable.

As the team chose Scrum for the project management methodology, we've had daily meetings, so it was easy to control and understand the work process. Developers were very responsive so we've managed to communicate and resolve any issues on the spot.

The most impressive about this company was their high team communication level, quality of their work, flexibility and that they were proposing various options of realization including time, budget, resources, etc.

After the launch of the project in production, there were some minor issues on the mobile version, but they’ve fixed it very quickly and we are very satisfied with their work.

Due to the proper optimization processes and flexible architecture we've managed to built a beta version for gathering the feedbacks and checking the productivity.

Project management hasn’t been too tough or confusing. I’m able to easily communicate with my project manager on my concerns. It’s been very effective thus far.

I've found they put the client first before the money. It’s important to work with people who want to build your vision.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Areas of improvement would be in the following areas: - Web design is on an amateur level. The web designer does not bring up fresh new concept in web design. I had to find my own web designer to build out the home page. - QA is not great. As someone who is not a web developer, I had to request for a lot of changes and review of the site. Some pages weren’t responsive and other pages were not design in a friendly manner for the user. This will make the client frustrated since QA should be part of the project space. - The project has been on hold for a long time due to features not being built. It would be great to give reasonable timelines on when a project could be completed. - There is no signed contract or receipt for when a project begins. Just in case there are any liabilities at the end of the day. - There is no document of price on web features that you’re paying for so you won’t get over charged.

It can be incredibly difficult to find really high-quality development work on as short notice as we need it, and RIVO AGENCY is able to fill that need for us perfectly. I’ve worked with a lot of agencies in this line of work, and I’ve never been as happy with how they performed. Not only is the communication great, but they come through 100% of the time, so I am very satisfied.

I like them as project managers, and we have been able to avoid having any problems because of how organized they are. They do a good job of communicating with our project managers and making sure that they are always on top of whatever deadlines or deliverables we have for them at the time.

I can’t reiterate enough how difficult is to find a reliable agency that delivers quality work, but these guys are one of the few. The service RIVO AGENCY offers is exactly what I was looking for.

From the first days of cooperation, we significantly increased the speed of development and introduction of changes, reduced the time from setting the task to its implementation. Which was very important for a startup at our stage. We were able to test various options of our product much faster.

Communication with each member of the team was very simple and friendly. Our tasks were completed on time. We communicated in Slack for fast response.
