For what projects/services did your company hire Ripple Animation, and what were your goals?

Ripple Animation was hired to design, develop and create a minimum viable product (MVP) website to launch Shaktify. A key design consideration was to factor for the evolution of this initiative.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I sought references from members of a networking group and got three or four leads. I settled on Ripple Animation because I found their interest levels for this engagement to be very high plus the network member gave an excellent reference. Shaktify is a non-profit initiative and the team at Ripple Animation was willing to view this engagement from a different lens.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

There were several interactions with the Ripple Animation team based on which a high level scope and approach of work was agreed on. The development was on WordPress. The deliverables included developing a multi-tab website with three horizontal banners for the Homepage. A critical piece of work was synchronising the new website with an existing blogsite and creating two-way integration between the website and the blogsite. This was a team of three plus one. The core team consisted of Madhura, co-founder of the enterprise, Karan who was in charge of design and Shrinivas who was in charge of development. This team was supplemented by one more person, another co-founder with whom commercial discussions were held.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The new website has just been launched but traffic has not yet been measured. Feedback received from family and friends is that the work is of very high quality and leaves a lasting impression on the viewer/user

We used an agile, iterative approach to the development of the website and it couldn't have been otherwise. At a relationship level, my interactions were with Madhura whose outlook was friendly, empathetic and always approachable. Karan came about as a super enthusiastic design consultant whose creativity stood out while Shrinivas remained the quiet but dedicated professional who executed the job with finesse. Communication modes were mostly zoom calls, emails and instant messaging.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Undoubtedly the talent at this company left a lasting impression. A high-comfort level was developed with both co-founders during my initial conversations with them and this remained through the assignment.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Ripple Media should seriously look at the non-profit sector as a separate vertical and develop greater expertise around the needs of this sector. Hopefully, this assignment will give them the incentive to explore this further.

I am the Managing Director of an Engineering Design Services company. We have just over 500 employees and we support customers, many of them industry leaders and Fortune 1000 companies, mainly in the U.S. and in Europe.

As a company we have traditionally relied on direct sales for growing our business. We realized that we needed to kick start a Marketing campaign and the first step.was to create a Corporate Video.

Our goal was to drive traffic to our website, and to our LinkedIn page and also to use the corporate video to bolster our direct sales efforts.

As I mentioned earlier this was a corporate video that talks about our company, what we do, how we differentiate ourselves and our key selling points. Ripple Media had a very rigorous process to capture the message that we were trying to convey through our video. They were able to engage with our team, understand our business and help us crystallize our own thoughts so that we could arrive at what we really wanted.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

They had a very elaborate feedback process. We had a series of calls and email exchanges through which our inputs very quickly coalesced into a final product.

The video has been received very well by our customers and our prospects. It is sti early to tell but we are certainly seeing more inbound traffic into our website

Extremely good. What is important to mention is that Ripple Media pushes very hard to get things done on time. As much as we were keen to get a product quickly their team pushed us to give them inputs on time so that the final product was ready on time

One of our Security & Surveillance clients wanted to get into the animation video market for the very first time. They wanted to create an all round animation video to explain who they are, what they do and how they can help customers secure their business security needs.

Opportunity – To project the client as an professional and expert Security System integrator partnering with world class surveillance and access control product brands for all large enterprise/corporate verticals

Purpose- Project the client as an expert surveillance solutions integrator in the physical security domain to the prospective customers and build customer confidence on our client and permit customer to make the buying decision. Corporate video will address the quick presentation of capabilities brought to table by our client.

We were going through a lot animation studios based out of Mumbai. Finally we came across the Ripple Animation Website and we liked what we saw. They have an extensive catalogue of past projects. They seemed very clear about the process, the concepts, the execution and the art of video production. Thats where we finalised on Ripple Animation to get on board for our client.

Once Ripple Animation was on board, they gave us briefing document to understand what we were actually looking for.

Once they got the idea of our vision and mission for this animation video, the stages of scripting, art styles, voice over, storyboarding, animation styles, etc.all just went like a breeze. They knew exactly what we wanted and they were more than happy to oblige our suggestions and feedback at all stages of the video.

The final video came out exactly as we wanted it. It takes the audiences through the journey of our Client, their achievements, their expertise, their standing within the Security & Surveillance industry and much more. Ripple Animation truly helped us bring these accolades to life.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Ripple Animation has quite a team. They are proactive, they are diligent, and they are really good at what they do. Be it script writers, visualiser, animators. All seemed to be quite in sync with each other and that really helps them stand out in turn helping us complete this project smoothly.

The key people that we interacted on a daily basis are: Vivek and Madhura - The founders of Ripple Animation. They are very efficient business owners and they surely do run a tight ship. They realised that our client was venturing into a new territory with this animation video.

So with a lot of patience and calm, they helped streamline various processes which made it easier for us to interact with their team. It was great to see them involved in the project right since the beginning.

Smaran - The Animation Director. He is an absolute rockstar. He smoothly guided us through the various processes/stages of the animation video. His expertise in the field of animation/video production is unparalleled. He has excellent project management skills, no doubt.

Several rounds of feedback were managed virtually considering the Covid-19 pandemi which started during March 2020. But even amidst the lockdown, the Ripple Animation team beautifully managed this project remotely. Kudos!

This animation project has garnered a lot of customer appreciations mails. It has also piqued quite a bit of interest from our vendors. This is all we measure success with.

During such trying times with the Covid-19 situation at a rise, social distancing is a must. Thus, any sort of video is the best way to showcase your brand during zoom/skype meetings making boring presentations a bit more interesting.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The complete animation project was managed remotely. Inspite of us all being based out of Mumbai (Ripple Animation, The Agency, The Client), the complete animation project was managed remotely.

There were 1-2 personal meetings before the lockdown, but apart from that all operations, communication, scheduling was handled via email/calls/video calls. Ripple Animation maintained tight deadlines which in turn helped us maintain a tight feedback regime. Overall, it was a super smooth transaction.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive fact about Ripple Animation is their intuitive capability. They understand the market, the requirements, the mindset of the client quite effortlessly.

They made us feel quite comfortable considering this was the first animation film for the client. We, at Square Peg Round Hole Inc. have worked with many vendors in the past, but what separates Ripple Animation from others is their willingness to adapt. They are very clear about how they want to pursue a project but at the same time are very flexible with the ways to execute it.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ripple Animation, and what were your goals?

My services are not mainstream and very difficult to comprehend without a detailed explanation. To create awareness of my range of services, I needed help and contacted Ripple Media. They team did a fantastic job understanding my brief, converting it into a visual story and creating an engaging video that helped me build my business. This video also is helping me reach more of my target audience within the alternative medicine field and saving a lot of my time in explaining the work to potential clients. With this animated video created which clearly explains how explains how exactly my therapy sessions work.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I contacted several agencies and found Ripple to be the most responsive and competitively priced. They had a multiple step approval based process to ensure that I was on board with the work in progress and was therefore able to get a film that I truly love.

Ripple first sent me a briefing document and questionnaire. I filled that document out and had a video meeting with the creative team. They then converted my brief into a script which I made a few changes to, post approval of the script they sent me a storyboard which was the the entire film in still format. They then sent me various voice over options. They got the chosen voice over recorded and completed the post production of the film.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with several different teams within Ripple Media. Starting with the script writing team moving on to the design team and finally the animation team. I also had a supervisor at Ripple checking-in with me during the process. Ripple also finished the entire film prior to the originally committed deadline.

I have shared the video with multiple physician groups and several have responded positively to make Wholistic Energie appointments. As a founder and business owner, I certainly see value and success through this video.

Project management style: I had a dedicated project manger at every stage of the process. The teams used Google Workspace and Zoom as well as emails and phone calls to do all aspects of the entire project. All responses from Ripple were quick and the turn around time was less than 24 hours. I was extremely happy with the final product being ready before the deadline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found their creative ideas in relation to the actual color schemes, Character choices, visual style and design language to be very appropriate for my work. I also think the different experts at each team very knowledgeable in their domain.

They did a fantastic job on all levels for my company.

We then worked out the Voice over and its placement and they provided me with options for voice over artists. On finalisation of the sequence of shots and the voice over, they provided us with the final video.

We worked together to finalise the shots and voice over. They provided us multiple drafts. Changes were communicated to them. They promptly made changes as necessary to arrive at the final video.
