Firstly, we aimed to gain a deeper understanding of our lead funnel and its attribution to improve our PPC campaigns. Secondly, we were looking for strategies to enhance our underperforming SEO campaigns. The initial scoping workshop with Republic Marketing was comprehensive and helped us identify areas that were previously overlooked. Satisfied with their approach, we signed a six-month contract.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In terms of SEO, our DR has definitely improved, and with it, our traffic. Also, we are very pleased with the level of clarity in our data. Previously, we had no idea which keyword contributed to which CRM deal as the data is anonymised in GA. Republic Marketing’s cookie allows us to understand and link deals with keywords and campaigns and optimise our ad spend to achieve better ROI by focusing on keywords and campaigns that bring the highest value deals.

We began with weekly meetings, which eventually shifted to every three weeks. Access to a live task-tracking dashboard on ClickUp made project management transparent and smooth. We could add comments to tasks, request amendments easily and review the final results all in one place.

We were thoroughly impressed by the depth of their knowledge and experience, especially considering Republic Marketing is a boutique agency. They offer innovative solutions that one might expect from larger agencies. As our partnership progressed, our confidence in their ability to deliver grew substantially. We are a tech startup and it’s not often we get excited about some new fancy solution, but these guys really managed to impress us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Republic Marketing could have done differently?

From our experience, there's really nothing to complain about other than the time difference between Vancouver and Birmingham. For that, we resorted to asynchronous meetings on loom sometimes, which worked pretty well. The overall quality of their work was impressive.

• They were able to get us on the first page of search results for most of our target keywords. Our DR also improved by 10 points in just four months, which was a significant achievement. Overall it was all good, nothing out of the ordinary. Some work took longer than other, but we mostly increased the scope halfway through, so that’s understandable.

We wanted to work with an agency that wasn’t using a cookie cutter approach to save on cost. Their proposal stood out the most among competition and I felt that they understand our challenges.

The project was running ads with ROAs of 7.0 and above to help us pre-sell new models and push the older stock. We had a few coordination and discovery meetings to help them create the audiences, key messages and creatives. Afterwards, we held bi-weekly and then monthly calls.

Two in total. We have mainly worked with Sajad, but Igor was also on a few calls as their PPC specialist.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

RM’s team took their time to learn the ins and outs of our business. I believe that this was to ensure that we hit and exceed our ROAS targets.

From the very start, I had access to an Asana board to check real-time updates on campaign design and implementation. They were very organised compared to some bigger agencies I have previously worked with.

Being growth and results-oriented. They were also well-researched and knew what they were talking about.

One campaign went live two days later than anticipated but we ended up getting better creatives which in the end were well worth the wait.

We started with a good-fit call, followed by a discovery workshop to fine tune out the details of the project. The onboarding took around 10 days.

We were looking for an agile digital marketing agency that understands the current social media trends & can help us scale our operation. We initially reached out to them on LinkedIn.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Overall, I’m very happy with results. We have seen an improvement in engagement rate (+40%) on our Instagram account. Content planning and scheduling has also become more structured and efficient. With Google Ads, we gathered a lot of valuable data and the results for the first few months was better than we anticipated. Based on the results, we may include more PPC Ad spend in our next year budget.

They are organised, transparent, on-time and don’t overpromise and under-deliver which is a great plus in this industry. We were very impressed with how much they researched our niche within the first few months. They really do go an extra mile.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Clear and efficient communication, expectation management and focus. I’d say they put quite a lot of attention and care into our account. They were quite proactive and provided very useful suggestions which it was quite different from other agencies I have worked with in the past.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can’t think of anything in particular. At first we weren’t sure about the price as it was slightly above our budget, but the final quality and their dedication made it worth it.
