The two professionals we work with are diligent and responsive to our timelines.  After initial training they have been capable of working with minimal supervision and carry out their projects in self starter mode. They communicate well when non-routine issues arise.

Relay Human Cloud communicates well, and their engagement processes are easy and transparent. Their local management communicates as needed regarding scheduling and personnel.  Parallel was  able to meet with the professionals assigned to our company via web meetings and Relay works with their clients to ensure the assigned professionals are a good fit.  The professionals assigned to us are eager to learn our business and exhibit desires to expand their capabilities and responsibilities.

Our offshore development team follows a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes the phases of planning, designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining our software.

Our offshore customer success team assumes not only basic customer support functions such as incident management, but also train clients on using our software, and finally, develop custom projects to deliver any unique functionality our clients may need in their implementation of our software.

Our offshore accountant handles bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting and other related tasks.

Our offshore data analyst works closely with a client to handle their data management and reporting.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Without even getting into granular metrics, the success of this offshore workforce is evident in the drastically increased amount of work we’re able to do as an organization. Our development and customer success teams more than tripled in size with the addition of Relay staff, and productivity has absolutely skyrocketed ever since. We can directly attribute the bulk of our software updates, bug fixes, client implementations & more to our offshore Relay team.

• Property Management

Historically, our managers handled multiple items at buildings by themselves. The demand to manage information, prepare documents, update CRM, and track inventory ate away at time for developing relationships and closing deals. 
Using Relay’s staff augmentation, our onsite property staff are supported by robust international teams, including a central call and chat team, and support teams for data entry, data analytics, reporting, pricing and quality assurance. Although real estate concerns physical space, this disparate team makes the entire leasing process run smoothly.

• Accounting

Using Relay Human Cloud’s staff augmentation, we built overseas capacity gradually, backfilling domestic departures to reduce costs and increase productivity. Now with a 3:1 ratio of international to domestic staff, we operate extremely efficiently and handle a complex set of functions including: AP/AR, job cost accounting for in-house construction, treasury & cash management, insurance & loan administration, financial analysis and budgeting. 
Our international team extended the company’s daily productive hours from 8 to 16, doubling our productivity and freeing our local staff to focus on new & strategic initiatives.

• Acquisitions & Dispositions

Before having international support from Relay Human Cloud, we had continual trade-offs between factors like the number of deals reviewed, quality of analysis, and the cost of pursuit. Staffing up during active times was also difficult and slow. Through our partnership with Relay, our Acquisitions & Dispositions team is now globally integrated to rapidly process a large deal pipeline without overwhelming team members. 
Each group – domestic and international – handles different parts of the process. The team processes every deal with excellent information, rapidly responding to opportunities and changing market conditions. The US team has time to focus on relationships, strategy, and negotiations, while the overseas team can be re -directed to look at new property types and asset classes. Work is done overnight, with attention to detail.

1. Higher ratings from Tenants regarding customer service and maintenance requests
2. Increase in number of customer check-ins and higher output on sales calls
3. Faster turn around in converting calls to leases 
4. Easier turn around of invoices to vendors

Relay team integrated into our existing teams, adopted the processes and at times made them even better! The Relay team communicated extremely well with on-site members by using emails, MS Teams and phone calls to ensure processes and work flowed smoothly.

Several items are truly unique to Relay. Instead of a business vendor, they became our partners, helped and assisted in any way possible, and valued our company goals as their own. Their approach in providing staffing and removing the component of managing benefits, payroll, compilance, office equipment (computer, phones etc.), and office space make them a valuable partner.
