Initially, RedSilk and I discussed my business background and what we did in the company. They had to know all of that before creating my logo since they wanted it to be based on my business name and history. Then, they gave me an estimate of the project’s cost and set up a feasible payment plan for me.

Moreover, they created a color palette based on the research they did on the business. The colors and the Japanese flower used in our logo were based on the same research. RedSilk came up with everything; the only thing I provided was the background information of my business. 

At present, the RedSilk team has created various marketing assets for us, such as letterheads, brochures, and banners.

To generate business, I used to make phone calls to clients, which required a lot of time and effort. I wanted to market my business on social media to reach a broader range of people and grow my business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RedSilk Media Group set up an appointment and gave me information on different categories of service to start from, ranging from low to high investment. They then called to walk me through the best beginner-stage solution for my business.

I had a name for my business already, and RedSilk Media Group created the logo. They coordinated colors to make my logo stand out, giving me different color schemes to choose from.

RedSilk Media Group has also handled my social media accounts, Google presence, marketing, and advertising. They’re currently creating a website for my business and creating a professional email account connected to that website.

They’ve made sure my advertising campaigns are running, watching their performance from the backend to sort out what does and doesn’t work for my business. These ad campaigns run automatically for a period of time, and then RedSilk Media Group calls me to ask if I want to continue running the ads for a given length of time.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The impact of their marketing services has been amazing — my business has grown by 10% since I started working with them. I don’t have to pick up the phone and call people to generate business anymore. Instead, people call me to ask questions — and not just people in my local area. People located far from our office now reach out to us too. 

How did RedSilk Media Group perform from a project management standpoint?

I would give them a perfect score for project management. Their owner proactively calls me to ask about ad campaigns and next steps, and this cycle has really worked for me. My office is open year-round, and every week or month, RedSilk Media Group is posting to my social media accounts about taxes. They keep my marketing moving. 

We communicate via text, emails, and social media. They’re educating me as we go along. For example, I never knew that color was so important until they educated me on that while they were designing our logo. Throughout our engagement, they’ve taken the time to explain the different services they offer and walk me through them. I’ve never had a company take the time to do that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like their consistency and their will to present the next step. They never stop — they're always keeping up with technology and presenting new directions for my marketing. If not for their consistency, I don’t think my business would be growing at its current rate. The things that RedSilk Media Group can do with their marketing services amaze me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This isn’t negative feedback because I know they have good intentions, but I would like a little more patience and understanding. Sometimes my hours don’t match up with theirs. They don’t procrastinate like I sometimes do, so I’ve appreciated their persistence — but maybe they could give me just a little more time before jumping in with the next steps.

Don’t be afraid to ask RedSilk Media Group questions because they’ll take the time to show you what needs to be done and educate you on how it all works — even if you’re not technologically savvy.

I’ve asked them how they know that certain methods work, and I’ve asked to see research. They’ve even met with me in person to explain things thoroughly.

We hired RedSilk Media Group to handle our social media marketing efforts. Their responsibilities include managing our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts, producing and publishing content, and running paid advertising campaigns via these channels.

We already knew what kind of strategies worked on our target audience, so their main task was to make enhancements to our existing social media initiatives.

RedSilk Media Group also connected us with our local chamber of commerce, which allowed us to have more events, invite more businesses to come and host their events with us, hold our own networking events and socials. They were able to connect the dots with the chamber for us a little bit better than we had already done.

We've seen an increase in traffic and business during the wintertime, which is usually when we have the lowest number of customers. We’ve also seen an increase in our social media followers, likes, and views.

Overall, I can definitely say that the quality of content that they produce is engaging, creative, and of great quality.

RedSilk Media Group has performed well in terms of project management. We have monthly meetings, wherein we discuss our progress and plans for future campaigns. They’re incredibly excellent at managing our projects and their time, and they’re very transparent in what they have going on outside of our engagement so we always know what to expect.

I also appreciate how thorough they are in terms of providing updates. They are very consistent in delivering reports and statistics on what their work has been doing for our business.

After our initial meeting, Chay presented three different logo designs for me to choose from. After picking the one that I liked best and providing my feedback, she then went on to make the appropriate changes and got back to me with the final logo design.

The logo is finished, but we’re still working together to finalize my brand’s colors.

Their team also advised us to keep all of our content fluent and constant in order to better communicate with different people.

A few years ago, I decided to get a digital presence, but it was too thin, so I eventually got away from social media. However, I recently realized that I needed to get back on that part of the game, so I was looking for someone that could help me get a digital presence on Facebook and other social media platforms.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

RedSilk is helping me get back out on social media channels, promoting my listings and sales. First, we met and discussed strategies to get out on social media. During those discussions, they provided me with great suggestions on paths to follow, and I talked with them about my previous experience on social media.

Besides social media management, RedSilk creates virtual tours for the houses I promote, taking outside and inside pictures of the houses to do so. They’ve also helped me create a weekly program to provide people who are starting to look for homes with valuable information. Additionally, they’ve designed flyers, envelopes, cards, and stationery for me.

I’ve been doing this for so long that I don’t ask for client reviews anymore. However, RedSilk found out about that and decided to change it. Since then, they’ve also helped me gather past clients to get their feedback. Then, they create content with that feedback so potential clients can see it.
