Please describe your company and your position there.

I was a co-founder of Servo Technology, a startup providing smart retail solutions, responsible for product development, market launch and operations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ready Technology Services Inc.?

I worked with Ready as the sole technology partner from concept stage to the successful delivery of our IoT product and many software components.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I knew the founders from my personal network and knew about their capabilities / expertise. I approached them at the idea stage and liked their perspective.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Our solution involved a smart fridge and Ready team supported in the selection of most suitable components as well as general system design. They developed a cloud solution which allowed for the operation and management of our devices without any embedded software. They designed and developed many versions of our shopping mobile app for multiple platforms. The product also included a web-based dashboard component which allowed for tracking of transactions and inventory across our kiosks.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Different people were involved throughout the development stages. We had help from Project Managers, Sr and Jr Software Developers, IoS and Android Developers, Test Engineers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have completed the hardware and cloud software, manufactured over 10 kiosks, operated them in offices of various multi-national companies, reached thousands of customers and completed thousands of transactions through our mobile apps. The web dashboard was also completed and successfully used for operations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Across all these work streams, I had a close collaboration with the directors and engineers of Ready . We worked like we are all in the same team. It was casual but professional.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think their flexibility and result oriented approach was a perfect fit for a custom product. They were an ideal partner for a startup.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that I can think of.
