### Boomi: Single Source of Truth for a Consumer
A leading insurance company needed to embrace digital to move faster as a business, outshine the competition, and better serve its policyholders. The organization needed to better leverage its existing data, which required connecting multiple on-prem and cloud systems.
With custom-coded integrations, it was expensive and slow to connect systems, apps, and data.

SOLUTION
The insurance company partnered with Ray Business Technologies to identify an API Management Platform. RBT recommended Boomi, Boomi’s API Management supports the full life cycle of APIs in any environment.
For automating the claim management process, the RBT team developed multiple endpoints that connected data across multiple systems.
To create a single-view dashboard for the customers, RBT leveraged the prebuilt Microsoft Dynamics 365 connectors on Boomi enhancing the customer experience and enabling employees to resolve customer inquiries faster while personalizing interactions.
RESULTS

 

With Boomi and Microsoft Dynamics 365, the organization improved the customer experience by 4X. 
The team can deliver integration 40% faster than before and manual work has been reduced by almost 30%. 
70% of the developed APIs now can be reused for all future projects.

The members of the tasting panel are hesitant to utilize Filemaker since it is complex, slow, and difficult to use
It is difficult to track the evolution of groups of tasting notes as they are prepared for release
The data in Filemaker is inconsistent, making it difficult to create helpful features for consumers
Because there are two record-keeping systems, they occasionally go out of sync. This also means that more manual effort is required to have wines featured on the websit
Filemaker has collected a large number of sophisticated business regulations that no one completely comprehends
It is a labour intensive and error prone process to update existing winery listing information on the website or create a new winery listing
The search function on the website does not make it easy for users to find specific wines they are looking for.

 
 Solution

Wine Base application offers an extensive solution to all existing problems of wine data being stored on two different systems (Filemaker & Sitecore)
User-friendly data entry forms
Design and implement an approval workflow that keeps track of which wines belong to a particular batch
Each batch should have a status that allows admins to seamlessly publish all wines in a given batch

### Dynamics 365 CRM - Member Data Automation
The goal of the Dynamics 365 CRM is to collect information on various members (contacts involved in doing various voluntary activities) and their skill sets. These members help the client during various planned events and activities. The internal users then search and pick the right profiles for specific tasks.

Provide complete information about each individual, including education, skill, languages
Increase event activities through the client’s website
Required integration with multiple legacy systems

The challenge that the client team was integrating the data from multiple sites. Their previous site was outdated in appearance and usability and it was also extremely difficult for the content managers to keep the information up to date. One element of the content that they needed to be able to manage was the old content.

 Client chose RBT to address their specific needs to achieve their goals and compete among competitors
RBT created a fully modern, responsive, and editable new website for storing and retrieving their profiles. The user experience is now excellent across all sections of the website
The CRM profile search page is now very intuitive and allows the internal user to set filters and search for a specific member with a preferred skill set. For example, a Search can be made based on education, location, skills, language, or a combination of all the above
A dashboard has been designed and engineered where a user can see the data related to entities and displays data in the form of charts as well. This significantly improves the user experience as navigation is simple and all elements are easily accessible and encourages users to visit all sections of the site.
Multiple add-ons were developed to support various features like Image cropping control, and advanced calendar controls. PDF conversion and download. All these are not provided by CRM as default.

 


### Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM  Implementation
The client has determined that the current system is a significant risk to the client to meet regulatory obligations. They therefore propose to replace the existing system because:

There are currently unacceptable and unpredictable delays in validating and approve training providers
The current system is a simple dot net application and extension required more development effort
Existing functionality does not meet best practice
Reporting functionality is limited and does not meet user needs
There is no graphical representation and analysis reports
Security functionality is inadequate given the sensitive nature of the personal information stored in the current system

The business drivers for the new system developed using Dynamics 365 CRM and Business Central & EDRMS integrations will help the client to manage its business needs including

A CRM Portal site will provide an interface for end users. The end user is anyone who wants to provide training on any vocational course or anyone who wants to complain about a training provider and the stakeholders of the training provider
There will be a core backend system that will completely utilize the power of Dynamic CRM and NAV and which will be used to manage backend operations.
There is an effective notifications system built which will send notifications to all stakeholders effectively
Scheduled jobs are built to handle integrating data between systems and bulk updates

 


### Annual Financial Reporting Automation
Project Summary

The client needed an innovative, efficient & accurate solution to generate Annual Financial Reports on time with greater control over user input. 
Earlier, nearly 40 departments were taking more than 4 months to generate required reports from multiple Excel files for multiple business entities from 500+ pages, 150+ Excel tables and lots of text content.
The Data was distributed to multiple business entities to fill and submit the note disclosures. Respective members from each team were doing data evaluation and later confirming the data submission.
Upon submission, the reporting team manually generating report in a word document from submitted excel sheets’ data. Adding to the complexity, multiple persons worked on different report sections and finally consolidating to a single report.
 
The manual report generation was time & effort consuming because of inaccurate data, inadequate control and complexities of integrations

Solution:

Used SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI paginated report to automate the report building
A Power App dashboard is developed with Canvas’ User interface, enabling users to select appropriate templates and add selected templates to their entity/department to update the notes.
RBT used Power Automate to copy the selected notes from the master library to the appropriate entity folder based on the selected template and confirmation from the user.
Created an automated data validation logic using power flows and data events + schedulers and inserted the validation result to a SharePoint list A power bi report will use this table as a data source and generate a validation result dashboard.
