I am the CEO of GoReg

GoReg is a UK-based online marketplace and technology platform for buying and selling private vehicle registration plates.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

• Develop a complete, scalable online marketplace for UK private registrations.
• Handle and search a very large registration dataset efficiently and accurately.
• Implement complex commercial logic covering DVLA inventory, pricing, markups, commissions and checkout.
• Integrate the platform with the external systems required for GoReg's sales, marketing and operational processes.

SOLUTION

• Great culture fit
• Good value for cost
• Company values aligned

2-5 Employees

Rasonix developed a custom web platform for GoReg, covering the customer-facing marketplace, backend systems, search infrastructure, payment flows, and third-party integrations. Key deliverables included advanced number plate search, large-scale DVLA data imports and updates, pricing and markup logic, Stripe Payment Integrations, dealer and commission functionality, and integrations with HubSpot, Airtable, Intercom, Loqate, and Klaviyo. The project was delivered in multiple phases and also included UAT support, performance optimization, issue resolution, and additional Change Requests.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The project successfully delivered a scalable platform capable of managing and searching millions of registration records, processing large DVLA data imports and updates, and supporting the complete customer purchase journey. We also saw significant improvements in search performance, data-processing efficiency, and overall platform stability through multiple development and UAT phases. The agreed scope, integrations, and subsequent Change Requests were successfully completed and delivered.

The project was managed well across multiple phases, with regular communication and clear coordination throughout. The Rasonix team was responsive to our requirements, feedback, and changes during UAT, and worked closely with us to resolve issues as they arose. They remained flexible as requirements evolved and ensured the agreed deliverables and subsequent Change Requests were completed successfully.

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What stood out most was Rasonix’s ability to take ownership of complex technical requirements and work through them collaboratively. The project involved large datasets, advanced search, multiple integrations, and evolving business requirements, and the team remained proactive in finding practical solutions rather than simply following tasks.

There were no major areas of concern. Given the complexity of the project and the number of evolving requirements, there were naturally some areas where timelines and coordination could have been tighter, but the team remained responsive and worked constructively to resolve issues and keep the project moving forward.

They added fields for the itinerary, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, FAQs, and gallery. Rasonix implemented a booking and inquiry system using form plugins, set up email triggers, validation, and SMTP, and integrated content (text, images, blogs, tour details). They also implemented technical SEO, including speed optimization, caching, image compression, minification, and an SEO-friendly structure. Finally, the team tested and debugged the website on mobile, tablet, and desktop, checked cross-browser compatibility, and did the final review, launch setup, DNS configuration, and backup creation.
