I’m the president and CEO of Galify Inc. We’re working on is a chat application that duplicates the efforts of other communication and social media platforms.

What challenge were you trying to address with Quest Infosense?

We needed development assistance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We've worked together on iOS and Android versions of our messaging app. We provided prototype software and worked back and forth for a month to get the initial structures in place. They helped me configure our servers, and they prototyped all our software. The first versions were clean and professional, and we're moving forward to add notifications and other functionality. We're adding stories, statuses, and geolocation, and are just about to go live. If we get the funding, we hope to add VoIP in the future.

What is the team composition?

I work with their owner almost exclusively. He has a team of about ten that works with him, but my direct interactions are all with him.

How did you come to work with Quest Infosense?

I looked on Fiver for a vendor who knew XMPP. We initially hired them to configure the servers to process our chat features. They did a good job with that project, and we explored their other offerings. We negotiated the budget and moved from there.

How much have you invested with them?

As of now, we've spent about $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2019, and will go live at the end of August 2019. If we raise the capital, we will revisit the project to add those VoIP features.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The platform is on the App Store, but we haven’t marketed it yet. We don’t have any metrics at the moment, but I’m very happy with all of Quest’s work so far. They go above and beyond, and often don’t charge us extra if we go outside of the scope. They have a lot of knowledge of both iOS and Android, and our users really like what they see in the testing phase.

How did Quest Infosense perform from a project management standpoint?

I couldn't be happier with their project management. I would outline my needs, and they would provide timelines and pricing for each deliverable. They've met or beaten every milestone.

Even though there is a considerable time difference, the owner is almost constantly available. I have a direct Skype line to him, and he almost always answers me within a few hours. That's usually not the case with other firms I've worked with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They adapted to our needs and schedule, and the services they bring to the table are very valuable. If there is ever a breach or a break, we can get ahold of them very quickly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I'm completely satisfied with them, and I have nothing negative to say about them.

Make sure you understand what you want them to do, and come ready to start the collaboration.

We hired Quest Infosence for a unique, ambitious project. We wanted a dedicated, talented team that could implement our idea with minimal supervision. 

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to create an interactive, user-friendly platform that worked on desktop and mobile. It needed to be loaded with all the latest features and have a good aesthetic .

How did you select this vendor?

We approached many different IT companies with our guidelines, an explanation of our needs, and a blueprint of the project. We learned of Quest Infosense from a corporate friend's reference, and gave them the same materials. To our surprise, Quest infosense came up with solutions to reach all our goals. We chose them because they promised minimal development time, lower costs, and more excellent ideas.

Quest Infosense handled the whole project, from the basic flowchart to the detailed presentation. Within 10 days they gave us mockups of the app as per our requirements. After approval, they immediately started development.

They provided updates for us to check after each step. After a few corrections and changes, they finished development. They went through the project blueprint, came up with the perfect plan, and delivered an excellent output.

What was the team composition?

Quest's team consisted of a project manager, Android developer, iOS developer, PHP developer, and graphic designer. The entire team was dedicated to the project as if it were their own.

They completed the app before the three-month deadline.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication between our team and Quest's team was smooth and excellent. We frequently gave them updates so they could implement changes.  They implemented our approved changes so quickly that we were running behind them. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by their amazing teamwork, great ideas, and timely execution. They were perfect. My only suggestion is that they keep up their great, dedicated work.
