I'm the account manager of The Sellers. Our company is enrolled in different kinds of business; we offer consulting services for companies and entrepreneurs to start their businesses on various marketplaces.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qualitica?

We wanted to use the marketplace with our clients, so we wanted to ensure it was free of bugs and working smoothly.

We hired Qualitica to offer QA testing services for our company. Before the marketplaces were delivered to the clients, Qualitica helped us test the software. They ensured that it ran smoothly and didn’t have any bugs.

We worked with about three QA engineers from their side.

How did you come to work with Qualitica?

We found different companies and asked them to send us their prices, presentations, checklist on how they test the software, how they work, and how their communication process is built. Then, we made a list of 5–6 companies and compared the price first because it was the most crucial point. In the end, we chose Qualitica because we liked their presentation, and they offered reasonable prices.

How much did you invest with them?

We spent about $5,000–$10,000 on the entire project.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started our engagement in May 2021 and wrapped up in July 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For us, the most important point was the quality of their service and the project’s delivery time. In that sense, they provided an excellent service.

They found a couple of bugs in the software. They prepared a checklist, and we sent it to the marketplace. They were surprised about it because they were sure that everything was fine. After all, the software works right because they fixed it.

How did Qualitica perform from a project management standpoint?

When we started the project, we told them that we wanted to finish it in a couple of months. The project manager prepared materials for us and wrote the scope of work that would be done each day. 

The project was divided into weekly milestones, and they achieved them each week. In the end, they delivered the whole project within two months. As the account manager, I wanted to be involved 100% and always communicate with the engineers and project managers. Qualitica’s team informed me how the processes were built and what they were doing each day.

We used Redmine as a project management tool. They gave us access to their account, and we could see how the work was going on. There were two Redmine accounts — one was to see the engineers’ work and how much time they spent on a case; the other was for money.

On the other hand, communication was done through Zoom and Slack. We used Slack for texting and Zoom for video calls.

What did you most the impressive about them?

I respect companies and people who keep their words. They particularly told me not to worry, and they surely kept their word. Moreover, they proved their professional skills. Qualitica wasn’t a huge company, but they were interested in providing quality service.

Are there any areas that they could improve?

I didn’t have complaints about their work — everything was fine.

Any advice for potential customers?

Give them the details of your project and what you want to achieve and leave the rest to them. Listen and trust them; they know what they’re doing. Also, consider working with them on Zoom and Slack because they’re great with these platforms.

I’m the CEO of Coders LLC, a development agency. We work with IT infrastructure and develop different software. For this project, my job was to control it and make sure we reached the desired results so the end client could be satisfied.

A bank hired us to develop the CRM and ERP systems for them. We wanted to be sure it was working correctly before releasing but we didn't have enough time, so we sought Qualitica’s services to help us with testing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had strict requirements from the bank, and Qualitica helped us test the ERP and CRM systems. They provided engineers, and every day we communicated with them. With their help, we developed a roadmap, which included the type of technologies that they would use during the testing.

They used Java, Python, and Postman for the testing. Qualitica found a few bugs during testing, but they were able to fix them.

What is the team composition?

In the beginning, they offered six QA engineers, but we decided that three testers would be enough.

How do you come to work with Qualitica?

To be honest, finding a good agency to work with was an extensive process because I could find information online about qualified specialists and engineers, but I wasn’t sure about this.

First, I called my partners and colleagues and then started to collect information about agencies who worked in testing and QA engineering. They gave me some contacts, and I called and got acquainted with them.

A series of qualified engineers sent me their portfolios and offers. Finally, I shortlisted the companies and chose Qualitica because they had the best pricing, and I also liked their portfolio.

How much have you invested with them?

I can't tell the exact price, but it was a bit less than $10,000.

What is the status of the engagement?

We officially began our partnership in the middle of January 2021, and it ended in July 2021. However, I’m planning to work with them on another project that requires testing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For me, the most important thing about our work is that the systems are working without problems, bugs, or issues. It means that our job and Qualitica’s job were done correctly. They provided the skillsets we needed — the testers were professionals, and they delivered a quality job on time. I wasn't worried about the results, but I wasn't sure initially because I needed to check and understand how it'd work.

The ERP and CRM systems tested by Qualitica are now working seamlessly, and the bank didn't ask questions or have any issues. Overall, it was a win-win situation for everyone involved, and all expectations were met.

How did Qualitica perform from a project management standpoint?

Their side did project management, and their communication ability was good. We had only one project manager, and we communicated daily with them, which was very convenient. If we’d needed to find solutions with several people, it would’ve been much more complicated.

Also, we could communicate with the QA engineers throughout the project, so it took us less time to let them know what we needed. From their side, it was much easier for them to get in touch with me, so the solutions were very cheap and fast.

Moreover, Qualitica stuck to the project timeline and delivered the project in time. We developed the roadmap and had deadlines set, and they met them all.

We typically communicated via Zoom and Slack. It was more accessible and convenient because we could see the engineers, which I enjoyed because I like to see the people I talk to.

I was impressed with how they did everything they promised.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think they needed to improve anything. They met all the expectations we had.

When you choose any agency, start by collecting the feedback of your partners — that’s the best way to find a good agency.

Genrik Mkrtchyan - CEO of the “Coders” agency. “Coders” is a development agency. We develop and deploy CRM and ERP systems, chat-bots, online services, onboarding systems, dashboards, system integration, business automation and provide business with management tools. More over my agency develops different solutions which make possible to earn more but with less efforts.

For what projects/services did your company hire Qualitica, and what were your goals?

The main reason why we hired “Qualitica” is that we needed qualified assistance in testing CRM and ERP systems before making a release. We wanted to be sure that everything works right and without bugs. Our agency had a project where the customer was one of the banks and we had rather strict requirements, that’s why we can’t afford any bugs, but as well as we development agency we focused exactly on development and testing should be done any way.

How did you select vendor? At first, we searched online QA agencies, find recommendations and feedbacks, prepared shortlist of 7 companies, arranged interviews with each of them. Terms and competencies of engineers that were offered completely satisfied us and I think that it was one of the reasons why we started to work with “Qualitica”.

We had a meeting every day online where we worked out the road map. “Qualitica” specialists presented us the stack of their technologies, engineers who will work over this project. Once a week they sent us detailed report of conducted work. Finally, we’ve got bug report and with its’ help we corrected our actions.

Team lead was our main point of contact, but there were 3 more testers (2 juniors and 1 middle).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The main result of their work was when we released the product, all algorithms and processes worked correct. Our point was reached successfully.

We were given a project manager at start, he controlled all processes and was always online and we could contact him any time it was needed. All deadlines were maintained. Communication was organized with the help of Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nowadays it’s very difficult to find agency or company who keep their word and when competencies of engineers are proved in work. Qualitica showed themselves as real professionals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had different issues in the beginning and it wasn’t discussed before, but they find solutions how to keep time periods.

Our agency is involved in different projects, we work with different websites, portals and marketplaces. Our customers want to reach high conversion with the help of them. At the same time we want to be sure that marketplaces, portals etc. work promptly and for this point we hired Qualitica, because they did good job for our partners and we were sure that finally we will get needed result.

We knew this agency before, they did good job for our partners. Besides we searched online for a qualified QA agency. We shortlisted 5 of them, there was an interview with them, but finally we decided to work with Qualitica because of the recommendation of our partner and their past projects.

At first we explained what finally do we want to get. Qualitica specialists showed us the full algorithm of their actions including the stack of technologies planned to be used such as manual and automation testing.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After testing couple of marketplaces specialists in Qualitica made a bug report and suggestion how to optimize the processes and thanks to this we clearly understood how to build media marketing campaign.

Every morning we had different kind of meetings, standups where we were discussing and coordinating the whole process of work. We stayed relevant in the moment. We used Slack, Jira and Github to coordinate.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most important thing that I could tell about Qualitica was that they do what they say. We saw in the process that they have highly qualitied specialists as they've told in the very beginning.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Qualitica is very flexible, the deal is that we were in different cities and time zones, but it was not a problem because they organized our communication right and we didn't have problems with the speed and making decisions.

I am a product owner of WikiWorks. We provide cloud service to companies, who want to build knowledge base and automate onboarding processes. My part is managing a full process of product development and Qualitica becomes a part of my team.

We needed to do urgent testing of the launched product in order to eliminate customer problems.

We are using Redmine for tasks and Slack for communication. They provided manual testing at several steps of product update.

After testing and fixing critical issues, we increased product metrics for NPS and RR.

They were great at teamwork with developers and process participants who worked remotely. Testers were available for task adjustment.

They produce detailed reports that can easily be adapted into technical tasks
