Scope of Work

The technical solution centered on a registration and client management platform supporting different participant groups in a study plus a participant-facing mobile application that served as the communication channel for the AI coaching feature.
The platform was assembled from no-code/low-code tools: a front-end builder, a managed database with authentication and row-level security, an email service, a form/questionnaire tool, and wearable-device APIs, with a separate no-code builder for the mobile app front end.

Key Deliverables:

A client management platform covering: participant onboarding and questionnaire intake; configurable eligibility screening with administrator override; manual randomization and group assignment; a filterable participant list with detailed per-participant profiles; goal-setting and progress notes; templated and plain-text email communication, including automated lifecycle emails; manual nudge messaging; wearable data sync (connect/disconnect, daily summaries); aggregated and per-participant dashboards; questionnaire scoring; four-role user management with role-based access control; and CSV/JSON data export.

A participant-facing mobile app providing passwordless login, and the chat interface used for AI coaching communication.

Source code delivered across three repositories: the platform's admin interface, its backend configuration, and the mobile app front end.

An integration contract of three platform-side APIs (get participant data, send message to participant, save data about participant) defining the boundary with the AI coaching backend, keeping the platform as the authoritative data source and delivery channel.

They delivered everything on time, and we were informed of the progress, they were flexible to small changes where specification was not 100% prepared pre contract and managed big change (that is taking on the mobile app for AI coach rather than just integrating with preexisting solution) with no delays and with great attitude.

Value for money was great as was their manahement especially in the first stage that had very tight schedule and needed a system running for registration and data collection very soon. Their ability to prioritize and gradually deliver the solution so that we meet our other project deadlines was great.

As a smaller company, they are, to an extent, still depending in certain deliverables on the availability of their founder. However while it was felt it was managed rather well.

QikBuild was engaged to design, develop, and launch NABO, a community-focused mobile marketplace that connects trusted local helpers with people needing assistance with everyday tasks. The project included end-to-end mobile app development for both iOS and Android, user experience design, backend infrastructure, payment integration, user verification, messaging functionality, and app store deployment support. 
Key deliverables included helper and customer onboarding flows, profile creation, job posting and booking functionality, secure payment processing, in-app chat, location-based matching, review and rating systems, administrative tools, and a scalable backend architecture. The team also provided ongoing testing, bug fixing, feature refinement, and guidance throughout the launch process to ensure a smooth and professional user experience.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

QikBuild successfully transformed our concept into a fully functioning mobile application ready for launch on iOS and Android. All key project milestones were achieved, including user onboarding, job posting and booking functionality, secure payment integration, in-app messaging, identity verification, and administrative tools. 
The platform was delivered in a launch-ready state, and the team responded quickly to feedback, implementing refinements and improvements throughout development. Their work has provided us with a scalable foundation to grow the NABO platform and support our long-term business goals.

QikBuild’s project management was excellent throughout the entire development process. As first-time founders with no previous experience in app development, we relied heavily on their guidance, and they supported us every step of the way. What impressed us most was how approachable, patient, and genuinely invested the team was throughout the entire project. As first-time founders entering a highly technical space, we often had questions and needed guidance, but the QikBuild team was always willing to explain things clearly and support us through every stage of development. Despite being incredibly knowledgeable and technically skilled, they remained down-to-earth, friendly, and easy to work with. 
Their ability to take a complex idea and transform it into a fully functioning mobile application was extremely impressive, but what truly set them apart was the way they combined that expertise with excellent communication and customer care. We always felt like a valued partner rather than just another client, and their commitment to the success of our project was evident from day one.

Are there any areas for improvement or something QikBuild could have done differently?

Honestly, we did not identify any significant areas for improvement throughout the project. The team was professional, responsive, and supportive from start to finish. Despite being based in Slovakia while we are based in England, we never experienced any communication difficulties or language barriers. 
Communication was always clear, timely, and easy to understand. They consistently listened to our feedback, addressed questions promptly, and guided us through complex decisions with patience and professionalism. We were extremely satisfied with both the process and the final outcome, and there is nothing we would have wanted them to do differently.

We were looking for support in optimizing a complex web application’s performance, integrating AI-driven chat capabilities, and managing a significant migration and redesign of the app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

QikBuild supported us in migrating a complex web application to a new tech stack while simultaneously redesigning key features and improving the overall architecture. Their scope included system design and planning, evaluating our existing infrastructure, and executing the implementation of new features. They also integrated AI capabilities into the application, including building our first AI-powered chat interface connected to our data, using a generative UI approach. In addition, the team conducted an in-depth performance analysis of our existing web app and construction data analytics dashboard across both frontend and backend. Overall, QikBuild played a key role in designing the new architecture, defining the migration strategy, and successfully executing the transition.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

QikBuild significantly accelerated our timeline to launch a new product, enabling us to onboard paying early customers much sooner. They also improved the user experience of our existing web application, which contributed to increased customer retention. As a result, we’ve generated several thousand dollars in new monthly recurring revenue (MRR), with expectations to grow this by 10x in the coming months following the migration. Additionally, we’ve seen churn decrease by a few percentage points.

How did QikBuild perform from a project management standpoint?

QikBuild was highly professional and exceptionally proactive from a project management standpoint. Communication was clear and consistent across virtual meetings, email, and messaging platforms.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We generally avoid agencies due to past experiences with strong sales but weak execution. QikBuild is a clear exception -the only agency I’ve worked with that truly delivers on engineering and execution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They move very quickly, which occasionally puts pressure on us to keep up. But it’s a good problem to have given the speed and quality of their work.

The project has progressed through key development milestones, resulting in core onboarding workflows and integrations being implemented and available for internal testing and iteration as the work continues.

Internal testing has shown steady progress across core workflows, with functionality improving through iteration. Feedback to date has mainly focused on usability refinements, edge-case handling, and bug fixes, which are being addressed as part of the ongoing development process.

How did QikBuild perform from a project management standpoint?

This is a constantly evolving project, and QikBuild has cooperated with me throughout to try to stick to tight deadlines. While some bug fixes have dragged out, generally, progress has been good.

Project management has been done on Excel, which has caused some miscommunication in areas. However, we've recently addressed this by logging the scope and bug fixes in a platform called Productive.

We communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team, especially Ivana, takes a practical approach and methodically thinks about the user experience and flows to proactively offer better alternatives. Their expertise covers the gaps that I and Paramount Bloom have.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Project management in terms of logging bugs and scope could have been cleaner, but we've addressed this with a new platform. During the scope phases, we could delve more into the process to ensure nothing is left out and avoid out-of-scope surprises further down the line.

Project Summary

The Office Administration Web Portal will be developed using the versatile no-code platform weweb.io including backend integration with Supabase application authorization and business data store, Supabase integration with Microsoft AzureAD (Entra) for user authentication, email integration with SendGrid, and file storage integration with Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.  
The portal will be a user-friendly internal administration portal that’s designed to digitalize existing manual processes.  The Office Administration Portal must have the following design characteristics: 

• Aesthetically pleasing User Interface
• Simple and intuitive User Experience
• Material UI, Bootstrap UI, or similar look and feel for theming, styling, and colors
• Web page responsiveness that supports users on high-resolution desktop and laptop monitors and also portable devices such as tablets (Android tablets, iPad and iPad mini tablets, etc.) and mobile phones (iPhone, Android phones, etc.)

Project Phases
The project will be implemented over three main phases.  

Phase 1 - Design Phase. During the design phase, the high-level UI and UX requirements will be provided, together with the data structures.  

• Define UI requirements to standardize of the application theme, control or element library, and typography.  
• Define UX requirements to standardize the user workflow patterns and application behaviors such as notifications, error messages, etc.  Intuitive and recognizable patterns shorten the ‘teething’ period for users to adopt and use the new system.
• Design wireframes and prototypes (Figma or Adobe XD) to illustrate the expected look and feel of the application.

Phase 2 - Implementation Phase.  During this phase, the project team will build the application in weweb.io together with the backend data storage engine (Supabase), integration with Entra identity provider, and Azure File Storage service.  The web application should match closely with the wireframes and prototypes.  Sample data will be loaded to the data store for development validation and testing. 

Phase 3 - Testing Phase.  During this phase, the project team will perform integration testing and user acceptance testing.  

• Test scenarios and test data will be prepared by the Tesla Consulting team members.  
• Test execution will be performed by the Tesla Consulting team members.  Any errors encountered will be logged into an issue tracker for remediation by the implementation team.
  Project completion and handover. Upon successful completion of user acceptance testing (i.e., all design, functional, and technical issues have been rectified), the application will be published for general access and production data will be loaded into the data store.

The project was delayed by issues that were not caused by Qikbuild.  There were integration and stability issues with weweb.io and Supabase.  Qikbuild expertly handled the issues directly with the platform vendors and worked closely with those vendors to resolve the defects promptly. 

During Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, the Qikbuild team (especially Michal), was very responsive and professional.  Issues that were logged were typically resolved by the next business day.

Project Scope
We partnered with QikBuild team to build Planodu, a specialized platform designed to simplify modular house planning and cost estimation. The primary scope was to develop a linear layout builder where clients can assemble modules (kitchens, living rooms, etc.) while the system enforces architect-defined compatibility rules in real-time.
On the backend, we implemented a complex logic system to handle project configurations like lot orientation and MVHR systems. We also built a pricing module that allows construction developers to input their own unit rates for labor and materials. This enables the platform to provide clients with comparative cost breakdowns across different builders and currencies. The scope included a full admin portal for managing the module metadata and a subscription model for premium content.
Key Deliverables

• Interactive Floor Plan Tool: A visual builder that enforces connectivity rules between modules.
• Dynamic Pricing System: A calculator that aggregates work types (plumbing, electrical, etc.) and developer unit prices into a total project estimate.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Successful Beta Launch: The project moved from concept to a fully functional MVP (Minimum Viable Product) within the agreed-upon timeline, including all three user tiers (Admin, Developer, Client).
• Zero-Conflict Logic: The "Linear Layout" constraint and "Symmetric Compatibility Rules" were tested and validated, ensuring users cannot design a house that is structurally or logically impossible to build.
• Commercial Readiness: Integrated a fully functional Stripe payment gateway, enabling the platform to monetize through premium subscriptions from day one.
• High Data Granularity: The system successfully tracks and calculates over 20+ parameters per module (wall area, window counts, PV options), providing a level of detail usually reserved for expensive BIM software.
