I am the Executive Director at Spokane Hoopfest. Spokane Hoopfest is the largest 3 x 3 basketball tournament in the world with over 3500 teams and over 200,000 attendees

For what projects/services did your company hire Propaganda Creative, and what were your goals?

We partnered with them on a number of different things. Everything from our general branding to our marketing materials and production was handled by Propaganda.

We were partnered with them before my time at the company.

Their scope of work included our branding for the 2022 Hoopfest, our 2022 Hoopfest Poster, all of our Marketing Materials and design of our new signage.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with 3 people. Two of these people included the Owner and Creative Director

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our branding was by far the best it's been because of their ideas and deliverables. We had more social media interactions than ever before.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had weekly (and sometimes daily) meetings with them to make sure all deliverables were done correctly and to what we wanted. They were extremely easy for us to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They take an idea from what we said and turn it into something that's cool and ready to be shared with the public.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, with a lot of transition in our staff those guys were extremely accommodating with us even when we were behind schedule.

I'm the operations manager of a custom lighting company. We are an e-commerce company that designs and sells handmade residential and commercial light fixtures in the PNW.

We use Propaganda for SEO work, for digital advertising, and we've used them for a site refresh on a site that's about 4 years old.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were referred by a friend in town, and like to have local teams working on our projects.

They updated the site to make a smoother user experience for ordering. SEO work has been ongoing, as the advertising work.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

3 main team members worked with us. Justin does the SEO and ads, Caitlin does creative and overall marketing strategy, and Philip heads the web development team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've been happy with the updated design, although it's not all the way finished yet.

Communication is excellent, and is a mix of emails, f2f, and zoom. It's nice to have good relationships with vendors and the folks at Propaganda have done a good job building that relationship.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They've taken a site that didn't seem to have any problems and have made it work smoothly. This allowed customers to focus on their choices and purchases, not navigation and tool use.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not at this time.

I’m the executive director at a nonprofit basketball organization, and we run various basketball programs and leagues throughout the year, including the largest street basketball tournament in the world.

What challenge were you trying to address with Propaganda Creative?

We needed help with our website, marketing collateral, and design. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Propaganda is helping us design miscellaneous marketing materials, including apparel. We’ve also enlisted their help in a website design and development project. Additionally, they create the design assets that we use in our social media accounts.

Propaganda also helped us design, fabricate, and install an outdoor hall of fame display. 

Our hall of fame project is almost finished, but Propaganda continues to provide design services to our team.

What is the team composition?

We work with Kyle (Owner & Managing Partner) and Philip (Creative Director).

How did you come to work with Propaganda Creative?

We were introduced to Propaganda by a mutual colleague. We discussed how we’re always looking for design and creative help, and Propaganda agreed to support us right away. From there, we developed a friendship with their team. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $70,000–$80,000 so far, and the vast majority of that is for the hall of fame project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2019, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Propaganda has created a functional website, and it’s looking good. In addition, their services are affordable to us, and a lot comes from their generosity. For the hall of fame project, they’ve stayed under budget.

Propaganda is a great partner who has done a lot of things for our team. As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of people and organizations to get stuff done. Propaganda has always been enthusiastic about helping; they’re very generous in sharing their talent with us.

How did Propaganda Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

Propaganda’s communication skills are lovely. The thing I’ve always loved about them is how enthusiastic they are to help. Their response is close to immediate, and they’re always polite. I enjoy working with them because they make it easy. 

We communicate through email and in-person meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Propaganda’s enthusiasm is impressive. They’re tremendously creative and fun to work with, and they’re eager to help. Even though we’re only a small nonprofit, they treat us like a large client. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. The communication is great, they stay on budget, and they’re willing to help — they’ve been a great partner to us. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make it fun. They’re a creative agency that does a lot of creative marketing work, and they’re excited to work. If both parties are excited, good things will happen. 

Challenge them. Come in with big dreams and goals and have fun trying to bring them to life. They enjoy the creative process — the more creative freedom you give them, the more up to the task they’ll be.

I was familiar with Propaganda Creative, but the deciding factors were their SEO track record, their creative talent, and the smart and friendly people who work there.

PC built a fantastic, user-friendly website and helped me increase my book sales dramatically.

Two people, one the owner and the other an SEO/digital marketing specialist advised and assisting me.

I have seen a dramatic increase in book sales since hiring Propaganda Creative.

Their communication, timeliness, and overall management stye is top-notch. You can't find a nicer and more knowledgable group of people to work with anywhere.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their skill level was the most impressive as evidenced in their global projects. I think their superior customer service is unique.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of. I highly recommend Propaganda Creative to everyone I know.
