We had initial meetings to discuss the project goals, objectives, and the structure of the product we wanted to build, its features. Once the project started, we had weekly calls with the project manager for updates, testing and reviews, incorporate new features, ideas and improvements.

A project manager was assigned to the project and we had very closed contact with him, very often on a daily basis. A team of front end and back end developers were assigned to the project, but most o the contact was done via the project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was delivered in phases and mostly on time. It was a multi-service app with many features and we are very pleased with the way the project evolved and the Prismetric team was able to adapt to our demands and create the necessary changes.

The project manager was easy to communicate, even during the most stressful times. Most of the communication was done via email and Skype, and we felt that the team was always there for us to help and assist us, as well as make the necessary changes and improvements.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their technical skill and experience were top-notch. Most of the time we would come up with problems and difficulties, the project manager and the team had the ability to listen and quickly come up with suggestions on ways to move forward and improve the product and technical solution

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall we were very satisfied with the project outcomes and the team that worked with us.

I am the founder and owner of the company called SupariBazaar. I sell supari in wholesale basis. I also have vendors who can sell on my system.

We hired Prismetric for mobile application design and development. They also created small website for me to support my app. I wanted to go digital as there are no competitors in this market.

I found them in google search. I contacted 3 companies which are India based. After discussing my requirements with them two companies came up with the proposal. I found Prismetric's previous work appealing so I hired them.

It was multi vendor Ecommerce application with payment gateway feature. I was provided with admin panel with many different type of report features too. Final deliverable was cross platform application and website. They used Kotlin for my Android app and Laravel for backend.

There were 4 resources working on my project. 1 frontend developer, 1 backend developer, 1 designer and 1 qa. Project manager was there too.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have just submitted the app on stores and it is not live yet so its difficult to answer this question but we are hoping that within 6 months we will have at least 5000 customers using this app.

They used Jira and basecamp for the project management. We used to have 2 calls every week. It helped us to launch the project as decided.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their design skill is great. They sent me 3 mockups to choose from. I asked for few changes but they never ignored them. Also, project manager was calm and patience to hear our requests.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can not think of anything negative as we worked as a team to complete this project in ease.

I’m the co-founder of Foodiv, a food industry startup. We provide a software that allows restaurant owners to create barcodes that customers could scan with our app when they want to place an order. Our system has a couple of other features as well.

We needed help with mobile app development, so we engaged Prismetric.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Prismetric developed a mobile app for restaurant owners. The app eliminated the need for customers to look at physical menus, housing a QR code scanner that ties in with web-based menus. Users could simply scan a code using their phone to place a food order. 

We are done with the first phase of the development, which took four months. Prismetric is now in phase two.

What is the team composition?

There are 4–5 people assigned to this project: back- and frontend developers, a designer, a QA, and a project manager, who is our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Prismetric?

We found Prismetric on Clutch. We interviewed three companies but ultimately chose them because of the customer reviews on their profile. We also felt that they’d be a good fit as they had done a project similar to this in the past.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $22,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2021, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project is still ongoing, but thus far, Prismetric’s services have been excellent.

How did Prismetric perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management is the best part of our engagement. Their team is very flexible; if we need them to work 30–60 minutes more, they’ll never say no. We use to use Google Meet to conduct our weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Prismetric has done the business analysis perfectly. They’ve defined the flow of the app better than the last company we worked with. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be nice if we could communicate directly with the developers. We don’t blame them, though, because they informed us of it before we started the project.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate with them at least once a week to prevent any misunderstandings.

I’m one of the founders of an agriculture e-commerce platform for pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, etc. in India.

We needed someone to develop our e-commerce website and mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave them our requirements for features of the e-commerce website and iOS and Android mobile apps. They’re almost done with development. They provided the complete backend for the application where we can publish all the products to be listed on the platform. They handled all aspects of development, including the creation of the frontend. They used PHP and Laravel for the website. For the mobile apps, they used React Native. They will provide support for their solutions for six months after the launches. We’re already planning some additional features for the site.

What is the team composition?

There’s one web developer, one project manager, one iOS developer, one Android developer, one backend developer, and one designer.

How did you come to work with Prismetric?

We did an online search for a company to build our web and mobile applications. We shortlisted a few companies and visited them personally. We chose Prismetric.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent 1,400,000 Indian rupees (approximately $19,000 USD) with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of their work is good. We test the product on our own and the results we’re seeing are fabulous. We’ve let 15-20 customers test out the website. Based on their feedback, it’s good. After a month of further testing, we’re planning to launch a beta version of the site.

How did Prismetric perform from a project management standpoint?

They use Basecamp. We didn’t have any communication issues with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Whenever we need anything or have any confusion, they’re ready to help. They covered a few of the minor changes that weren’t initially required for free.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I can think of.

They’re a really good company to work with.

We started working together in September 2020, and we wrapped up in December 2020. Maintenance is ongoing.

The quality is good based on user feedback. The crash reports from Apple and Android are also minimal. Overall, they met our goals for the project.

They’re great. Communication was good, and they hit all their deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They delivered a quality product within our time frame.

No, nothing comes to mind.

My advice is to be patient and realistic; a vendor will never know the project as well as you do.

We were looking to contract someone to help launch an e-commerce platform in Africa.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Prismetric developed a web application, as well as a mobile application for iOS and Android. Their team works in PHP on this project. They worked directly on our system, making it scalable and capable of adding new things to it.

The project was split into milestones. The first milestone was defined by specific descriptions, including expectations, APIs to implement, and migration to integrate with the existing platform. I redesigned the system architecture to ensure it could sit on what we already had. They are currently working on the next milestone of the project.

I work with Hardik (Project Manager), a developer, and Ashish (CEO).

They were recommended to us, and we liked that they had the expertise we were looking for in a partner. They also had manageable costs, so we decided to work with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They successfully completed the first milestone, and we have tested their work to ensure it works properly. Their team is smart, quickly grasping what we need and providing good solutions. I’m 100% satisfied with everything, including the quality of work and the project timeframe.

How did Prismetric perform from a project management standpoint?

They keep me in the loop at every stage of progress and are extremely available and responsive. Hardik and I work closely together to discuss and work out different aspects of the work. We primarily use Skype for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication and responsiveness are exceptional. Prismetric has proven to quickly understand things, overcome unexpected challenges, and provide the technical services as expected at reasonable prices.

I’m the social media manager for Bookbird Educational Institute. We provide planning programs and coaching for students, both offline and online.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a native Android mobile application. The app includes general knowledge, daily reviews, English grammar, and much more for students. Students can watch videos, read over topics on various issues, preview demos, and work until they are comfortable with the coursework. When students take exams online, we upload their scores on the backend and provide them with the results.

The team is currently working on adding new features that would students to ask the faculty questions and let the faculty reply.

My former colleagues recommended them and they had good reviews. They provided valuable input and offered the best price estimate out of all the companies we were considering. Negotiations were simple.

We began working together around November 2019 and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The app launched on Google Play in March 2020. Within 24 hours, we had 1,500–2,000 downloads. We currently have 63,000 downloads and have organically ranked sixth on Google Play.

The app works well, so users have rated the app highly and have provided positive feedback. We are satisfied with the team and the development they’ve done. 

How did Prismetric perform from a project management standpoint?

They do a good job. They work within our budget and finish ahead of deadlines. Communication is easy because they are available and responsive. We use Jira and an interfacing solution to contact them. They are providing excellent support.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They deliver what they promise and provide reliable solutions. They often go above and beyond to complete everything we request of them, including additions and upgrades.

Let me tell you, stay FAR away from these guys. they basically scammed me out of $22k. Nine months after the contract began, they still had yet to deliver a product that was even remotely usable. I ended up having to fire them because the entire suite of products were utterly useless and contract in a different company to do it. Let me tell you, the new company has it fully completed and working perfectly in 2.5 months. When I asked for a refund (because the new development company said "it looks like a kindergartner tried to code this") Prismetric completely denied it and kept feeding me excuses on why it wasn't their fault.

Prismetric is a terrible development company that lied to me about their capabilities to get me to sign a contract with them and dragged me along for 9 months wasting valuable time and money.

=I’m the director of a company called Plus Side. We’re a community-based app that’s designed to improve the sexual health community across Australia, and eventually globally. The app allows people to connect with friends, receive dating support, and learn about sexual health. If you’re positive for HIV, HPV, HSV, or Hep C, you can find other accepting, like-minded people on the app to date, become friends with, or provide mutual support to.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Prismetric takes an all-in-one approach to the job. The key deliverables are the design of the app, the development, and the branding. They’ve also uploaded the first phase of the solution to the App and Play stores, as it’s available for iOS and Android. Additionally, they’re providing six months of maintenance and support.

We’re set to finish phase one any day and then move into our phase two contract.

What is the team composition?

Hardik (Project Manager) is the team leader, and I deal with him directly. There are nine members of Prismetric working on my app, including developers, designers, and other resources.

How did you come to work with Prismetric?

I found them on Clutch and on Google and looked at their reviews and customers on both sites.

How much have you invested with them?

The phase one contract amount is a fixed price of $30,000 AUD (approximately $23,000 USD). I’ve asked them to do extra work, and that costs another $3,000–$4,000 AUD (approximately $2,300–$3,100 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The app is available on the App Store and the Play Store and has 130 members. There have been a few bugs, as any app experience, but Prismetric fixes everything as we go. There haven’t been any issues.

Everything has been performed on time. They’ve also done a lot of free extras for me. I rate them highly.

How did Prismetric perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything happens in Basecamp, which makes it easy to communicate with the team leader. I can send documents and assign tasks I want done. We also speak through Skype and a general chat.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve asked for lots of changes, and Prismetric always gives me their time, even we’re halfway through doing it one way and I change my mind. They’re very efficient with their time and are very flexible. These changes often come at no cost to me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is the first app I’ve developed, so I’m not sure how these projects usually go, but my only issue is that there have been a few minor bugs. Prismetric fixes them in a few days, though, and they’ve all occurred within the test program.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If other people are interested in working with Prismetric, then I would say that I’ve reached out to multiple companies globally and nationally, and Prismetric offers the best prices and services.
