I am the CEO of Shiftframe. We are Las Vegas-based web design company with a specialty in small and medium-sized businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with Post Launch?

We wanted to improve our digital marketing efforts to expand our online presence and increase our customer acquisition rates.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Post Launch implemented and managed an SEO and search engine marketing campaign. After comprehensive research, their team determined the most profitable keywords to target using Google AdWords. They created original and engaging content for our website, blog, and various social media accounts. Post Launch continues to manage the company’s advertising strategies.

What is the team composition?

We worked with a project manager and a behind-the-scenes team of writers and SEO specialists.

How did you come to work with Post Launch?

I met the CEO at a local, after-work networking event. He introduced me to his company and explained the ways they could benefit my business. We moved forward with the partnership following that interaction.

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent about $150,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2017 and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our company is ranking in multiple relevant keyword searches on Google and a variety of other engines. We experienced a huge increase in business – our client base has increased five-fold and our incoming revenue amount has tripled.

How did Post Launch perform from a project management standpoint?

The team completed every task by the deadline. They continue to communicate responsively and respectfully as we collaborate on more projects.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really appreciate their honesty. After working with other digital marketing firms in the past, it was refreshing to partner with Post Launch because they really listened to my business goals without trying to steer me in a different direction. The team develops a thorough understanding of the vision and provides the most fitting solution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could better clarify the data elements of their progress reports. There were a few instances where we had to ask for further explanation.

Any advice for potential customers?

I suggest potential clients hire Post Launch. I think that any business could benefit from their services. In my experience, they outperform other companies in the industry.

I am the president and CEO of a company that is based in Las Vegas. We focus strictly on designing and developing websites for small businesses all over the United States.

What challenge were you trying to address with Post Launch?

We’re a small company with a limited amount of time to find clients, but we wanted to expand our inbound marketing because we had been experiencing stagnant growth. We wanted to see a definite increase in sales as a result of hiring Post Launch, so we reached out to them and came up with an agreement to do just that.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Post Launch is doing our search engine optimization and onsite optimization. We had a website, but we hadn’t optimized it for anything. We also hadn't done any inbound marketing before hiring them. We could have done the SEO and onsite optimization ourselves, but Post Launch consulted with us on what to do and what the best practices are. We implemented their suggestions. They also regularly write content for our blog and supply us with images. They also do a lot of offsite directory listings for us so that our local search presence is on point and accurate.

How did you come to work with Post Launch?

Our two companies have a mutual friend. While we had met before, we’ve never worked together on a project. Our hiring decision came down to Post Launch and one other company, since we always try to do our due diligence and get at least one other quote. Post Launch seemed like a more reputable and capable company.

How much have you invested with Post Launch?

We are paying Post Launch about $1,000 a month for what we’re getting, and that figure has stayed consistent.

What is the status of this engagement?

I think we started working together around June 2016, and we’re still working together.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The bottom line for us is sales, and we definitely saw an increase in sales as a result of hiring Post Launch. Within two or three months, we were probably getting two or three additional sales per month that we weren’t normally getting, and that was directly attributable to Post Launch’s campaign.

How did Post Launch perform from a project management standpoint?

Post Launch would set the dates for us and said, “We’re going to have blog content to you by these days.” Their schedule worked for us, and they were always consistent. They’re also consistent about sending out reports, which always arrive at the time they specify, so there were no issues there.

What did you find most impressive about Post Launch?

We’ve never worked with anyone else before, so it’s kind of hard to compare Post Launch to another company. When it comes to basic business principles, like communication and doing what you say you're going to do, Post Launch is a typical underpromise-and-overdeliver type of company. They definitely exceeded my expectations, which is why we’re still working with them.

Are there any areas Post Launch could improve?

If we could have more detailed reporting, that would be fine. We do get reports, but if they had more details or explanations in them, that would definitely help.

We are a full-service medical marijuana dispensary in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Within that framework, I am our marketing manager, and I've been attached to the product for about three years. I have been involved with licensing and going through that entire process.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Post Launch?

Marijuana has significant advertising and marketing regulations to ensure that the public is protected and the community is comfortable with whatever advertising does occur, which means that there’s a strict regulatory regime in place as it pertains to how we’re able to market. Many of the traditional marketing and advertising avenues are not available to us as a marijuana business, and many standard services won’t use our content or advertise for us. A variety of advertising tools are taken out of our toolbox, but luckily SEO [search engine optimization] is not one of them.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

When we approached Post Launch, we wanted to own the search for marijuana in Las Vegas, because we know that people aren’t going to ask the concierge at the hotel they’re staying at where they can get pot.  What will they do instead? They turn to their phones, so we wanted to take advantage of that consumer behavior and capitalize on SEO in this marketplace.

Before getting involved with Post Launch, we had a basic, minimal, and essentially non-existent web presence. They helped us build our website, and they’ve taken on additional projects for us as we’ve been increasingly satisfied with the results that we’ve received from them, which has been nice.

When we first started, we had a web developer who was doing the basic framework of the site, and Post Launch was populating that framework with content. We had Post Launch build out the web pages that specifically pertained to marketing, such as our specials page. We were so satisfied with their work that we asked them to redo our entire site. What has been great about Post Launch is that we’ve been able to use them as our rudder in terms of dealing with our other agency/client relationships. They’re great at keeping us in sight as to where our dollars can best be spent, so that’s definitely something we appreciate, especially in the sometimes opaque world of marketing, when you don't know exactly where and what’s working and why.

We also worked with Post Launch to put together a targeted, robust plan based on what we both believed the best terms were. From there, we did a lot of content building on the site and developed a strategy for how we wanted to work with social media. We worked hand-in-hand with Post Launch to understand what we wanted. Post Launch has been instrumental in helping us start up in a brand new industry with few precedents.

How did you come to work with Post Launch?

I think we came to work with Post Launch through a referral, but that was at the board level which is separate from me, so I’m not entirely sure.

How much have you invested with Post Launch?

I think we’ve invested somewhere between $1,500 and $2,500 for SEO with Post Launch.

What is the status of this engagement?

We probably started working together sometime between August and October of 2015, and we’re still working together.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We have consistent double-digit percent increases in every important traffic category including sessions, users, and page views, week over week. We have a low bounce rate, and it’s always declining. It’s incredible.

How did Post Launch perform from a project management standpoint?

Post Launch has never been late on a deadline.

What did you find most impressive about Post Launch?

Everyone, including the CEO of Post Launch, has done a tremendous job of communicating effectively with us. It’s been a pleasure to work with them in that regard. In addition, there’s been a lot of trust and flexibility on both sides. We are a dynamic new business in a crazy new industry, and Post Launch has been able to bend and grow with our business in a significant way. Their flexibility and open communication have been key to our successful partnership.

Are there any areas Post Launch could improve?

Post Launch could always bring their prices down. I’m trying to think of a real answer for you, but I’m not sure I have one.
