What was the scope of their involvement?
When we approached Post Launch, we wanted to own the search for marijuana in Las Vegas, because we know that people aren’t going to ask the concierge at the hotel they’re staying at where they can get pot. What will they do instead? They turn to their phones, so we wanted to take advantage of that consumer behavior and capitalize on SEO in this marketplace.
Before getting involved with Post Launch, we had a basic, minimal, and essentially non-existent web presence. They helped us build our website, and they’ve taken on additional projects for us as we’ve been increasingly satisfied with the results that we’ve received from them, which has been nice.
When we first started, we had a web developer who was doing the basic framework of the site, and Post Launch was populating that framework with content. We had Post Launch build out the web pages that specifically pertained to marketing, such as our specials page. We were so satisfied with their work that we asked them to redo our entire site. What has been great about Post Launch is that we’ve been able to use them as our rudder in terms of dealing with our other agency/client relationships. They’re great at keeping us in sight as to where our dollars can best be spent, so that’s definitely something we appreciate, especially in the sometimes opaque world of marketing, when you don't know exactly where and what’s working and why.
We also worked with Post Launch to put together a targeted, robust plan based on what we both believed the best terms were. From there, we did a lot of content building on the site and developed a strategy for how we wanted to work with social media. We worked hand-in-hand with Post Launch to understand what we wanted. Post Launch has been instrumental in helping us start up in a brand new industry with few precedents.
How did you come to work with Post Launch?
I think we came to work with Post Launch through a referral, but that was at the board level which is separate from me, so I’m not entirely sure.
How much have you invested with Post Launch?
I think we’ve invested somewhere between $1,500 and $2,500 for SEO with Post Launch.
What is the status of this engagement?
We probably started working together sometime between August and October of 2015, and we’re still working together.
