Plus8soft has delivered a fully functional, production-ready MVP that has successfully transformed the initial concept into a working iOS app. All core features planned for the MVP have been completed, including user onboarding, authentication, user profiles, place discovery, saved collections, maps integration, search and filtering, and an administrative dashboard for content management.Moreover, the platform has been prepared for internal quality assurance and TestFlight distribution, allowing early user testing and feedback. The MVP has also established a scalable technical foundation for future feature development, expansion to additional cities, and public launch.At this stage, the primary success metrics have been delivery- and quality-focused rather than user growth metrics. We’ve tracked progress by completing all planned MVP features within the agreed scope, delivering a fully functional iOS app and admin dashboard, resolving issues identified during testing, and preparing the product for TestFlight distribution and early user validation.Since the platform hasn’t been publicly launched, user engagement KPIs such as retention, active users, and session duration haven’t been measured yet. What has impressed me the most has been their level of organization in project management. The project manager has kept the development process well-structured, maintained clear communication, and ensured that tasks, priorities, and progress have been consistently tracked.I’ve always had visibility into what they’ve been working on, received regular updates, and found the team responsive to feedback. This organized approach has made it much easier to collaborate throughout the project, even when changes or revisions have been needed.

Overall, I’ve had a positive experience working with Plus8soft. If I had to point out areas for improvement, I’d say that the initial design phase could have been better aligned with my vision, which has ultimately led to replacing the original designer.Additionally, the project timeline has been longer than initially anticipated. While some delays have been expected due to design revisions and the iterative nature of developing an MVP, more accurate timeline estimates at the beginning of the project would have helped set expectations.Aside from that, the team has remained responsive, communicated well, and been committed to delivering a quality product.

We’ve gotten the application built and delivered within the tight timeline we’re working against. The product has gone from concept to a working web application covering frontend, backend, and the integrations we need. The application handles the core user flows and integration scenarios we designed it around, which validates that the architecture choices hold up.Moreover, we’ve been able to move from development into actual usage of the product, rather than getting stuck in extended pre-launch fixes. The collaboration has been efficient enough that we’re considering Plus8soft for further work, which is probably the most honest signal of success on our side. We wouldn’t be planning a continued relationship if the outcome hadn’t been worthwhile.In terms of metrics, the main ones we pay attention to are time to launch, milestone delivery against the plan, scope completion, and post-delivery stability. Time to launch is the most important metric given the tight schedule we’re working under. Hitting the delivery window is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have, and that shapes a lot of how we evaluate progress along the way.We also track whether each phase lands close to its planned timing, which gives us a running sense of overall project health rather than waiting until the end to assess it. We also track how much of the originally planned functionality makes it into the delivered product versus what gets deferred or cut. For us, this comes in close to what we’ve scoped, which is a positive signal.Finally, we watch how the product holds up in real-world conditions, which is always a more meaningful test than pre-launch testing alone.In terms of process, we track progress against milestones throughout the project rather than just measure it at the end. Core functionality is grouped into logical blocks, and each block has a defined “done” state before moving on to the next. We also have integration milestones.
