I am the director of marketing and social media at Cuetip. We are a financial technology startup company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Pixibiz, and what were your goals?

We needed a website built that would have both a serious and fun visual presentation. The website needed to have a blog section, a user login (invite only feature), a page to collect data, a user account page where the data page could be personalized to make the data collection more efficient. We wanted everything to be very user friendly, high security, and to look good.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Johan using Upwork. We reviewed many candidates but I had a good feeling about Johan. His other website samples were a deciding factor as well as his reasonable rate (not too low, not too high, reasonable). We wanted a website that was high quality, and his previous website work appeared to be high quality and showed his skill.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a few initial meetings with Johan where we showed him a mock up sketch of how the site should look and be structured and to review our specifications for the data page in great detail. The data collection page and graphs were one of the more complex features of the website, and Johan did an excellent job with building it all out.

We passed along our brand guidelines to Johan so he could use them in the color scheme and final touches of the website appearance. Another feature Johan added at our request was that the data collection page could only be viewed by users, and specifically the users who inputted their data for that week. We also did not want just anyone signing up - so Johan was able to make users invite only.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We love the website, it has the perfect aesthetic for our brand. It has good security in place. The data page is clean, user friendly, and all the functions are in place per our specifications. The graphs look good.

We spoke with Johan via email and Whatsapp and also had a few meetings via Zoom. Johan worked very quickly, and more importantly his work was high quality.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I didn't know how the website would or should look, exactly, but just the impression that I wanted to have from it. I was impressed with the final product. I really feel that not only is it the perfect website for our company, it is also one of the coolest websites I have seen in general.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would have liked more of a warning that the project had gone over Johan's allotted time but appreciate that he was still willing to tweak it until it was just right.

They already completed the products, but we continue to rely on them for site maintenance and support.

I'm pleased with the results that Pixibiz has delivered. We've seen an evident growth in our clientele through their team's efforts, and that's my main success metric for their work.

We communicate through email and WhatsApp. Pixibiz is on top of their project management game — they deliver my needs when I need them.

Pixibiz has a thorough and efficient approach that leads to favorable results. Additionally, I never feel left out in every phase because they always keep me in the loop.

There's nothing else they can improve or do differently. I'm satisfied with their work.
