Significant increase in the number of people visiting the club and sailing school website. Increasing brand recognition on Google. Increasing the number of clients with whom we have signed contracts.

The project was completed on time. All changes were introduced on an ongoing basis. Very great commitment from all people who participated in the project. Additionally, many other changes were suggested by Paul and brought great results!

We appreciate their great commitment to the project. They did not approach us like any other client, but carefully analyzed our situation and adapted all solutions to work best.

The cooperation so far is perfect and I don't see anything that could be changed. The only thing that worries me is whether Paul has time for relax - because his commitment is 110% ;)

We improved our work routines thanks to Paweł's commitment, tips and insight. Paweł is a consultant who works with you side by side. You can feel that you have a new member of the team. He uses "we" instead of "you" and deeply analyses the core of the business. He seeks the best way to make things happen. Among the other consultants, you can feel that you have a partner — the partner who can ask tough questions. Paweł helped us to validate our idea. 

Thanks to his research, our team believes that we can break through a new marketing and sales strategy implementation. We are more focused on deliverables thanks to implementing Scrum in mar & sales. Paweł monitors our efforts and gives tips for adjustments and optimizations, ensuring the mar & sales strategy is aligned with Bravelab's objectives.

Paweł is always prepared for the meeting. He was never late and always delivered what he promised. He can generate ideas and motivate the team.

I realize that this was the support of a consultant, but sometimes it would be useful to act closer to the "battlefield" than the strategic arrangements.

I am CEO of Iterative Engineering software agency specialized in bespoke digital product development for engineering sectors. Established in 2017 and since day one building solutions, resolving problems and streamlining processes for oil&gas, renewable and the wide energy sector. Our unique strength is a combination of proficiency in software development & integration with great understanding of engineering domains and their specific language.

We were looking for someone who would help us to set up efficient sales and marketing process within our company. Back then nearly entire of our team were engineers, including 2 founders and we decided its high time to catch up on other fields, as otherwise we won't grow.

How did you select this vendor?

We were looking for someone who has proven expertise in software engineering services industry. Pawel was outstanding across other options. He had a successful exit from the company with very similar profile to ours. What is more he was responsible for it's growth through sales and marketing from its very beginning till his exit. So clearly meant that he has experienced challenges at various level of growth and somehow dealt with them, so we thought its a great fit for our need.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

The processes started from the very beginning of explaining to me and other founder basics around goals of marketing vs sales process, different approaches for performing both. So generally about increasing our understanding on the subject (i.e. inbound vs outbound, account sales, value proposition, ideal customer profile etc.). Then the next step was broad discussion about our company, its strengths and weaknesses, our achievements and failures, our team and skills.

All of that in order to identify differentiators from others, try to build a message towards potential new customers and define profiles of ideal customers. Then we've moved into content reworking part, where we've updated our webpage, social media and number of professional profiles. As well started doing outreach activities and attending to various conferences. Step 2 & 3 were then repeated iteratively (by improving the message & reworking the content along with outreach strategies)

In addition to above, Pawel also advised on various challenges like negotiation strategy, contract structure, contract risks, relationship improvement.

What was the team composition?

The cooperation was conducted mainly between myself and Pawel, as a series of regular meetings and async activities.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Despite there were no successful sales outcomes yet, the progress is visible:

• a few very desirable and advanced leads and advanced discussions.
• They define a great message to our clients and identified the value we provide
• increased visibility significantly (measured via social media and www analytics). I.e. in 2021 we've barley had any www vistors, while now we can identify 60-70 companies on weekly basis (thanks to our blog!).
• build understanding of both sales & marketing and how those 'interact' with each other

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow overall was great, however we've had to iterate on it few times to find best balance.

Expertise.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Focus on less, but ensure things are done. More direct pushback when things are lagging behind. Better planning between sessions and outlook for long term goals.
