What I like to do is rate the requests as important or not important. I like that when there is a problem or an issue to solve on the system or the app and it's really important, the team always has the energy to help us, and they have empathy as well. Since the first day of the partnership, they've always responded to our needs. The time of delivery of the items is okay for me.

We use management tools such as Jira that kept track of deliverables outcomes were measured by tasks complete along with project progress.

We used slack and jira to manage the project. Infotech team communicates well with Jira and the use of slack. They respond quickly and clarify questions as they arise. The Jira was very important for each item and task for the project. We organized them in a way to determine the priority of each item as we built out the project.

They're very well-equipped to handle the project's complexity. networking/AWS, Bit Bucket, React, Node, mongo, express, Css, Js, Stripe api, Paypal api and everything in-between including stripe settings. Seeing the big picture on how things need to be setup and moved forward.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Based on what we accomplished it is very important that they keep track of project items. We used Jira very well and it worked very well to make sure each item was done and accounted for. They did a great job. I don't know what we could have done differently. I think the project worked out very well.

We had all of our ideas scoped out for them, so we provided specs and timelines. They developed our website with databases to manage our different locations. We needed the site to manage invoicing, inventory, and other work related to our operations. It’s a mini ERP platform, really. We continue to work with them to fix bugs and implement new features.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The impact of their work has been tremendous. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to run the business as well in terms of the level of activities and the number of people that we serve daily. On a good day, we serve probably 600 people, and that’s a lot in our environment. The system can handle all that and more. They’ve had a significant effect on our company and how we can service our customers.

How did Patoliya Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven’t had any issues with deadlines or communicating despite the time difference. We connect via Skype, telephone, chat, email, and Asana. In the beginning, I was skeptical about working with a remote team, but after a few weeks, all of those fears went away.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate their good attitude even when we give them difficult tasks. As part of our collaboration, they built an application that links to the website and exchanges information. I didn’t think that would be possible, but they made it happen.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d love for them to visit us in person. On-site support would be wonderful, but we know it’s not always feasible, and we’re happy with the support we receive from them nonetheless.

Be clear about your objectives. It is also important to find a middle ground between micromanaging and trusting their process. One must provide a reasonable amount of oversight.
