I am the founder and CEO of the startup company GlamBookings. GlamBookings is a mobile app that allows consumers to schedule, reschedule and cancel health & beauty appointments. What were your goals for this project?

To develop the GkamBookings App per our specifications for both iOS And Android platforms.

I searched online for a mobile app developer. My search was narrowed down based on value for money And quick initial response.

We chatted via email and whatsapp. I provided the detail of what I wanted the app to look and feel like. The Pairroxz team developed each stage of the app and provided me with screen shots initially. 

Once the design (look and feel) of the app was agreed upon, Pairroxz provided me with builds of the app at different stages. I was allowed to test the app At each stage and provide feedback. The team would them go back and implement my changes and provide me a new build for testing.

What was the team composition?

I initially dealt with Priyanka who was like a Public Relations Officer who dealt with my initial email query and provided quotes and invoices. Thereafter I dealt solely with Vibha, the business analyst who loaded between myself and the developers. Vibha was always available and patiently dealt with all my queries and “held my hand” through the various development stages. He was always competent and patient.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

GlamBookings mobile app was developed from scratch as an idea in my mind. The Pairroxz team brought this abstract idea to life and guided me throughout the development process. All of my requests were incorporated and any changes that I required were duly fulfilled. The app works exactly as I envisioned itx

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The BA, Vibha chatted to me frequently throughout the project. We decided on using WhatsApp and this proved to be an effective and convenient feedback method. I was constantly updated as to the progress of the app.

I was given screenshots initially to approve and later I was given various builds of the app do that I could test each stage of development. The team worked systematically and efficiently. I was very happy with the workflow communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Pairroxz has an impressive knowledgeable team that delivers on their promise. I have, the BA went above and beyond in terms of customer satisfaction. The team was patient and guided me along the development process. They were most forthcoming and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I suppose we could have worked slightly faster but in the end I’m very happy with the quality of the app.

We hired Pairroxz to start our mobile app development from prototype all the way to production. They worked on building the frontend in React Native, to backend in NodeJs, as well as took care of the deployment on AWS.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to get the app out to the market and today we have achieved this. We are still working with Pairroxz to develop enhancements and features, as well as fix any bugs and issues.

How did you select this vendor?

Initially, I went through Upwork to source for developers for my task. From the 8-10 bids, I did a phone interview to throw different scenarios and questions.

We had an initial discussion on the architecture and tech stack. We wanted to use a hybrid language for the front end and were deciding between ion and react-native. For the backend it was clear we agreed on NodeJS. I had a desiger design the high fidelity prototype in XD and this was then passed to Pairrox to start the development.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with the main developer, who was the full stack developer. I would develop certain API or parts of the app that he would eventually merge to the main codebase.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After few pivots and iterations, we launched the Beta in Dec-2019 and full launched in Mar-2020. In 3months we had over 500 downloads. Bugs and issues were fixed quickly and deployed to production timely.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very efficient and smooth. I was in direct contact with the main developer and the communication channels were always smooth and clear. We use Trello to track tasks and had weekly calls to discuss any issues and clarifications.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The responsiveness and reactivity of Pairroxz was second to none. They gave very good support and even responded on weekends when we had issues. They never shy away for challenges and took it head on. Also, it felt like a partnership working with them as they would also offer suggestions and advise and had the same client-centric mindset as oppose to a developer/vendor mindset.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything could be done faster, but given I worked with 1 resource, it was good enough.

We were looking for an online platform for buying and selling items. The assistance consists of app designing and development from scratch to uploading it on iOS and android app stores.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of this project is to provide a platform for users to buy and sell their belongings without racking one’s brain in the street market. Pairroxz TEAM plays a vital role to give a frame to our idea. They develop the app from scratch. The app is in Somali as well as in English language which helps my users to choose the language in which they are comfortable.

We searched for vendors online and we got their name in google search results. We put our query regarding app development to the Pairroxz Team through their website.. After goingthrough conversation with them, I felt comfortable moving forward with them. They are excellent in communication.

The objective of this project was to make an online platform for buying and selling items. One can sell or buy their used products. All that it requires is to take the picture of the item, add price and item details. Buyers can communicate directly to sellers through the app.

We had a single point of contact, who introduced our idea to their development team. The development team includes a UI designer, an Android developer, an iOS developer, a web developer, and a tester along with their excellent project manager Vibha.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

It has created a magnificent revenue. It has attracted many new users to this event. I couldn't be more satisfied than this. ​Today, we are able to build a significant, fast and high quality product.

There was a smooth and effective workflow. The Pairroxz team was committed to our success. They communicate frequently. They address the challenges as soon as they arise.They are very easy to reach at any time.

Although there were occasional challenges given language differences, it was not a problem. Frequent status updates are always appreciated given the time difference.

Registration page, 6 section, 90 question assessment, calculations of results, index values applied to a graphic representation of fullness, and a 200 page report containing index values and custom sections driven by the index values.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were thrilled with the speed and accuracy of the work product, and the understanding of our ambition that led the team to give us valuable input and suggestions beyond the scope of the work that we provided.

Communication was electronic following an initial voice call. We provided as detailed of spec and samples as were could and both sides worked hard to have timely questions and responses so that anything off-course did not become a costly detour.

we never did a test system demo/walkthrough via webinar, it might have helped in some areas and we will do it in our next more complex phase.

My goal was to create seamless, easy-to-use, beautiful mobile apps for physicians. The first was a photography app that stitched together nine photos in a standard format. The second used the phone's abilities creatively to measure head tilt and turn in patients.

How did you select this vendor?

After interviewing Pairroxz Technologies and several other developers, they fit all my needs. They designed logos, their previous apps were pleasing to the eye, and they could handle a project from beginning to end. I had nearly no experience with apps, and they could turn my idea into a published app.

I gave them a crude UI that I made in PowerPoint, then explained the functions and workflow I visualized. Pairroxz Technologies handled all the technical aspects. They also helped me design logos and a clean UI.

The first app includes an on-screen guide that shows where to place the subject's face. The app captures photos in landscape or portrait mode, guiding users through the photography steps. The user can retake any picture. If all the photos are acceptable, the app saves a composite to the camera roll or emails it.

The second app uses the phone's capabilities to measure and display how much the phone is tilted. An on-screen guide lines up the subject's eyes or nose, then displays the tilt of the head. It uses the compass to determine how much the phone turns.

Pairroxz Technologies assembled a responsive team with a project manager, a designer, and a developer. My project manager handled most communication, offering information about the latest updates and responding to my feedback. He took responsibility for my satisfaction.

They turned my crude UIs into beautiful, functional apps that form the central element of my business.

We worked toward well-defined milestones. When they met a milestone, I realeased the agreed-upon funds. We used Upwork to communicate. Pairroxz Technologies was always responsive to feedback. They never asked for payment before meeting my high standards.

Thanks in part to Pairroxz Technologies’ work, the app was considered for a Sports Technology Award for the Best Sports App (UK) category. It is also used by prominent rugby teams in England.
