Our lead artist is preparing for the release of a new music project and we needed to build more awareness toward the brand prior to the release date.

I shopped around before ultimately deciding to go with Otter PR. I had four other potential PR companies that I contemplated hiring. After speaking with each of them, I felt like Otter was the best mesh for what we looking to accomplish.

The first featured article secured by Otter PR resulted in a 5% increase in daily traffic on our Instagram.

We had an initial PR call to determine exactly what our needs were and to talk about monthly rates. Shortly after, Otter PR wrote the first article and submitted it for live publishing. They maintained communication the whole while via phone and email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found to be the most impressive about Otter PR is its eagerness and willingness to help. I really appreciated all of the good feedback and encouragement to take my brand to the next level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Fortunately, I can say that I don't have any real feedback at the moment. My experience was just that good.

I’m the CEO of a fitness training company, and I help people live healthier lifestyles. Right now, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people are neglecting their mental and physical health. It’s my way to give back, guide, and mentor people through the process of being healthy.

I wanted to explain my story to get more PR, so I could help people find ways to improve their health.

I reached out to Jay (Co-Founder), and he put me in contact with one of their publicists. They sent me questionnaires to gain insight about me and my company. From there, their team worked with me to write my press releases. After seven days, they had everything up and ready to go.

Jay was my point of contact, and I also worked with 1–2 people.

I knew Jay through social media, and he was launching his company at the time of our engagement.

We spent around $3,000.

We worked together in November 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Otter’s PR work got me verified on TikTok and other social media platforms. When people searched my name online, they could find articles about me on Google’s first page. All of the links are still working a year later.

My business grew due to Otter’s PR work. I got new followers, but I had to take a step back from my business because I’m in medical school.

Otter was very professional. They had a platform where I could message their team for any concerns. There was never an issue about hearing back from them; we had open communication 24/7. We used Google Docs to collaborate, and we communicated through emails and phone calls. 

It was a smooth process overall. We experienced no difficulties, and working with them was straightforward.

The interface of their platform was user-friendly. Additionally, it was very easy to hear back from them and find someone to talk to.

I can’t think of anything.

Go with them if you have a business or brand to promote.

I am the host of a globally ranked podcast. Outside of hosting, I do dabble with PR and marketing still while our production teams run the rest of the show.

We hired Otter based on their ad, which incentivized us to get a great deal on a PR package. The goal(s) was simple to expand our reach a bit further and boost our credibility.

We hired Otter for a one off PR run with a top ranked site that aligns with our podcast and our audience. We were prompted to fill out an intake form and then go through the process of answering questions. The questions were simple informative questions such as name, contact, etc.

From there, we had to give information about what we were looking to have written up.

Then, we awaited the publishing of the article.

The project is still on going so it's not easy for me to provide outcomes yet. Although, I can mention how great it has been to work with the Otter team.

Let me tell you - they are on top of their game! They have internal systems that keep them on their toes because whenever I filled out a form, they contacted me ASAP. We did not have daily meetings or anything of that nature because the project simply didn't call for it.

Their systems and communication. It was top notch. They have a great team in place that takes pride in their work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, I can't even think of anything that would be improved on. They hit a home run.

My ROI is still pending but I am hopeful that I will once again see it soon. I have great success with my last opportunity working with OtterPR as it helped garner me again as a thought leader and additionally, I attracted more clients to my business.

1. Email is their most efficient means of communication and because I am more readily available that way during the day, it worked for us.
2. They always allowed me to proof any articles I wrote with their team before my name was attached, which is 1 of the highlights of working with them.

Project management style is handled by multiple parties who are all working on several projects. You have a main POC which sends reports on a weekly basis and also sends over a nice visual report of all of your results.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Working with them made us feel like they are part of our team. Fantastic people, fantastic offering and extremely scalable as to what you need. Super innovative with their approach and offerings. Have enjoyed working with their entire team across multiple businesses. Strongly recommend to anyone who is thinking about investing into PR!

I think as they continue to scale their operations they are ironing out small gaps in communication which never really created a problem in the first place.
