Additionally, their agency's emphasis tends to lean more toward paid media strategies rather than earned media. This focus on paid placements over earned ones means that while we're able to achieve high visibility, the balance and potential benefits of organic reach and credibility that come with earned media are not as prominently featured in our strategy. Adapting to these dynamics requires nimble planning and sometimes recalibrating our expectations toward media engagement.

We had a couple of initial kickoff calls with Kristi and Mike to help them understand our capabilities, topics we'd like or prefer to stay away from, and what our ultimate goals were. They were instrumental in getting us featured on many bigger-named platforms, even during the first few days of working together.

From scheduling zoom calls with writers who wanted to feature us to "ghostwriting" articles for our feedback and approval, and even to helping us coordinate schedules with tv stations for video hits, they helped us access opportunities that otherwise wouldn't be known to our team. They also assisted our team with capitalizing on those opportunities effectively so we made the most of them.

Kristi (Publicist Assistant) and Mike (Account Strategist) both helped us pursue our PR goals. Kristi regularly emailed us and followed up to be sure we were able to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible, and she was instrumental in helping us stay on track. Since working with Otter PR, our press coverage increased tremendously. We had 232 pieces of coverage with over 600 engagements solely from their work with us.

We had standing weekly meetings with the OtterPR team to discuss progress on projects we already had in motion and some that may be coming our way soon. They were extremely prompt in communicating new opportunities to our team and making sure we didn't miss big opportunities with quick turnarounds. OtterPR seemed to immediately catch onto the tone of voice we wanted to portray. When we provided feedback, they took it into account going forward and implemented changes we requested or helped us understand specific decisions. They also went as far as to assist in designing the layout for our press page on our new website and troubleshooting some things with it. Really they were just overall great!
