Having honed his craft for more than 30 years, Alex's body of work encompasses various themes, from realistic and semi-abstract landscapes, seascapes and beaches, to abstract human forms and shapes. We hired Orbis Production to tell Alex's story of over 30 years of painting in a documentary. As a self-taught artist, Alex had to work really hard to prove his skills and make his unique style appreciated by collectors all over the world.

When we were choosing a video production company, our main priority was to find a team that had experience working with artists and had vast experience filming documentaries and interviews. We needed a team that could immerse themselves in Alex's art and show the world through his eyes.

The Orbis team spent three days filming the artist in his studio and outdoors as he pain landscaped and stories of nature. The goal was to film enough footage to show artist's life and style of work to the viewers. Orbis also conducted a series of interviews, exploring the artist's story and his journey from a factory worker to a world-class artist. The team studied our archive and did a lot of background work. In addition to that, interviews with other people were performed including studio's creative director and other people close to Alex.

I have to say that we worked with the whole team because everybody was so supportive and pleasant to work with. The management was brilliant and organized everything impeccably.

Orbis did a lot of hard work, which resulted in a wonderful 30-minute-long documentary and several 90-second-long teaser videos for social media.

The Orbis team helped us to create a lookbook for our new collection, which included a photo shoot and several videos. We’re working on our new website and that’s where we’re planning to feature the promos Orbis created.

We were looking for a video and photo production company who had experience in the fashion industry and could handle a large-scale project that included outdoor and indoor photo and video shoots, as well as hiring over 20 models for the project. COVID-19 prevention measures were also a deciding factor.

This was a large and complicated project that involved working with a lot of people who had to be hired especially for the photo and video shoots. The Orbis team handled the whole casting and hiring process of over 20 models. They used their in-house stylists, hair and make-up artists to get the desired result. The team organized the whole process in such a way that something complicated looked really easy.

They took care of everything, including filming permits from the city council, on-location shoots, indoor chroma key filming, lighting, props, and more. We were pleased to see that Orbis took health safety seriously and had all the anti-COVID measures in place. They wore masks and ensured negalive tests from all the team members and hired models.

We worked mostly with the creative director as well as with the executive producer Mike, Lukas, and Camilla. We were impressed by their dedication and communication skills.

The result of all the hard work were over 150 professionally retouched photos and 3 videos ready for posting on different platforms. All the content is ready for both print and digital use.

First of all, we had to make sure the ORBIS team had a very clear understanding of what we offered to our customers, what mining is all about, and how our clients can benefit from using our platform. As a result, ORBIS came up with scripts for the commercials and fantastic contemporary locations for live filming in Milan Business Center and Duomo square. Currently, the commercials are in their final stages, ready to be launched as soon as we re-lease our mobile app.

The commercials ORBIS created are exactly what we need to make our mobile app launch a success. The videos are going to be part of our large-scale digital marketing strategy targeted at global clients.

In total, there were three days of filming, 14 hours per day. That’s a pretty intensive schedule and the team did an outstanding job handling everything.

After that, they provided us with a rough cut and made two rounds of edits. The final result exceeded our expectations.

The videos ORBIS created are just what we were looking for. All of them are true stories told by refugees turned into professional and touching videos. We are using the videos on our social media accounts, as well as at events.

This included, finding the exact locations to film, proposing the actors and outfits, putting together a storyboard and putting together a shot list. Besides that we were incredibly impressed by the outcome, we got an incredible amount of compliments on the video (also from the most critical audiences).
