Asuragen is involved in the development of molecular diagnostics both for clinical and research purposes. We have established portfolios in genetics and oncology, helping to tackle challenges in the detection of genetic disorders and monitoring of cancer treatment.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Asuragen wanted to film a customer testimony video with a KOL who is also a customer of a genetic diagnostics kit that we sell. The testimony would include feedback on our collaboration but also results from a study performed using our kit, to patients with ALS and/or frontotemporal dementia. We wanted to film different shots in the KOL's lab and create a storyline for customers people interested in the film to watch the video and relate to it. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• The film quality; the way key information from the speaker was captured and illustrated through the video. 
• The different angles and shots that comprised the video were incredible, making it look very professional, slick and reliable (i.e. not look like a promo video of a brand). 

We will share that video on our website so hopefully it will generate a lot of traffic to our social media 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Organisation of the filming was very smooth. We identified the needs and the main scope, and the fact that it would take place in a laboratory setting - which the team was already familiar with. The team also managed to film everything in a day including extra shots in the lab, and all the questions the company wanted to ask the KOL. Final video included subtitles which thankfully didn't require a lot of revisions + shots from two angles which gave a beautiful cinematographic effect. 

ORBIS members were also very creative in coming up with ideas inside the lab of what would make a nice take. The fact that they had Italian-speaking crew also helped massively to deal with the everyday language with the lab team. Finally, they took the initiative to record every person filmed to ensure they gave consent for their photos/videos being shown for marketing purposes by Asuragen.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their creativity and ease of adaptability inside the lab setting; it was flawless smooth and caused minimal distruption to the lab members. Also, their courtesy and manners to the speaker as well as the lab members is worth appraising. 

The way we progressed through the filming, discussing ideas how to exploit lighting, spaces. This is evidence that ORBIS have a deep expertise in know-how no matter the sector. Film production is their niche and they keep assuring you that when a job is assigned to them, they'll do their absolute best to produce a spectacular result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ORBIS Production could have done differently?

The crew arrived on time, they were very efficient, aerial shots have been captured... I can't see anything that could have been done in a different way, they also agreed to film the testimony at multiple locations so they were even flexible and adaptable. Nothing negative to comment on, I was just impressed. Maybe a bit more cinematographic input on the final video, but that is food for thought for the customer who can enquire about it on the next project

We teamed up with Orbis to create a diverse range of media content, which included captivating luxury villa commercials and a compelling movie showcasing our agency and core assets. Orbis flawlessly managed the entire production process, from creative development and script-writing to casting, directing, filming, and editing. They delivered over 25 high-quality videos in various formats, expertly tailored for social media platforms, all completed ahead of schedule.

We are a legal consultancy and legal aid providers with offices in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. Our company specializes in B2B services in the DACH region. Our areas of expertise are civil law, commercial law, real estate law, company law, criminal and misdemeanor law, media law, debt collections, and more. I am the company's CMO.

We hired Orbis Production to be our one-stop video production partner for creating a series of corporate promotional videos and case studies.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We hired Orbis Production to produce video content for us after careful online and offline research. Some of the deciding factors were their experience working with companies in our industry and their reviews by well-known businesses here on Clutch.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

As the first step, Orbis Production prepared a creative shooting plan and worked out detailed scripts. They then spent five days filming in all of our offices perfoming interviews with executive-level managers. After that, the Orbis team skillfully combined the interviews with our company's stories and brolls. They used our archives to access all the necessary materials and tell our story.

The filming team was comprised of three cameramen, a steadicam operator, a sound engineer, two lightning technicians, a producer, an interviewer and an HMUA. An editor was always present on set. The team used top-notch equipment that included lightning equipment, film cameras, client monitors, drones, and lots more. All this hard work resulted in three videos, from three to eleven minutes each.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We had a dedicated project manager who handled everything and was always there to answer our questions and make sure our feedback was immediately taken into account by creative team.

We are extremely pleased with the final content from Orbis Production. The videos significantly increased brand awareness and helped us improve target audience outreach and overall made a huge impact.
