Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Creation of a web tool prototype to be used for gaining community input and feedback. Working with members of the local community to gather ideas and collect feedback, then develop a final web-based air quality information tool that reflected the input from community members. To maintain the web tool so that it functioned correctly and to make ongoing improvements in response to feedback or following periodic reviews.

The platform successfully integrated multiple data sources from air quality sensors across London, providing real-time and historical data access to residents

WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards throughout the application.

6000+ users since launch

The platform achieved significant user engagement with 2,000 sessions in the first two months of launch, demonstrating strong community adoption and interest.

Users showed deep engagement with the content, maintaining an average session time of 5 minutes and achieving an 88% scroll depth, indicating the content successfully captured and maintained user interest.

Openkit managed the project excellently. The team were very responsive both to the project team but also to the community members with whom they worked to cocreate the design and content. The team were very accommodating and were able to balance well the demands for both online and in-person meetings.
