OnHires has been very successful in finding candidates that meet our standards. The whole process has been very well documented in a Google Sheet as candidates move through the process, with the final deliverable being someone getting hired and passing our probation phase. We've hired five candidates, and four have passed, which is much higher than what we get with other recruiters, who typically have a 1 out of 5 pass rate.

We partnered with OnHires between January and October 2025 to support several high-level technical hires. Their team handled the full recruitment cycle for us - from sourcing and pre-screening candidates to scheduling interviews, managing communication, and supporting offer negotiations.

Throughout our collaboration, OnHires helped us hire four engineers: two Senior Software Engineers, one Full-Stack Engineer, and one Senior Interface Engineer. These were particularly challenging searches, as we were looking for specialists with backgrounds in developer tools and open-source projects - a niche segment that’s difficult to attract.

Despite the complexity, OnHires delivered consistently strong shortlists, maintained great communication, and kept the process efficient. On average, each hire took around one to two months.

We had weekly syncs to discuss progress and market insights, and the team consistently shared 1-2 strong candidates per week, keeping the pipeline active and relevant.

As a result, we successfully hired four engineers during the engagement. Three have already passed their probation period, and one more is joining the team in November.
