We noticed that our cost per conversion was increasing over the last two months. We initially thought the increase was due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, when the cost became extremely high, we aimed to reduce it — we reached out to One Umbrella for this.

What was the scope of their involvement?

One Umbrella helps us optimize our Google Ads campaigns, which have been untouched — we’d been running the same campaign for a long time until this optimization. The team optimizes the campaigns with the goal of reducing the cost of conversion while also increasing our sales. So far, we’ve all the optimizations we can, and we’re currently maintaining and topping up everything — they help us ensure everything is okay on a monthly basis.

We started working together in November 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

We’ve reduced our cost per conversion; we’ve also gained more conversions since we started the partnership with One Umbrella. We’ve also increased our sales on the website. 

How did One Umbrella perform from a project management standpoint?

One Umbrella is prompt in their service. Every time we approach them, we get good responses either on the same day or the next day. Their promptness shows what kind of people are working in their team. They’re not just a big company that doesn’t care about small-paying clients. In other words, they give every customer the attention they need.

Moreover, our deadlines are set by the type of tasks they’re doing. My point of contact usually delivers within a couple of days or a week. They deliver reports that break down what we need to do to optimize what we’re doing. If we’re happy with the amendments they propose, then we move forward. I can run any questions through my point of contact.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One Umbrella has been knowledgeable in giving me their expertise and the right advice. The responses I receive from other companies have been quite scripted. By contrast, the One Umbrella team gives me answers to questions that are applicable to my business. In other words, they don’t use templated responses. Overall, they’ve provided us with highly personalized services.

No, there aren’t any. Everything has been spot on with their work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I wish I reached out to One Umbrella sooner rather than later so that I could’ve benefited much more. As a result, my advice is to get in touch with them and get the ball rolling. If you do that, the perks and benefits of dealing with them will start rolling. Their services are spot on — you’ll reap your rewards faster. One Umbrella’s knowledge is immense and they know what they’re doing, so it’s best to get in touch with them sooner.

I started with Upwork. One Umbrella was the most professional and I liked the personal approach. I felt like the owner understood my business and the demographic and my niche.

First, I cerated a webinar for lead magnet with the company's guidance as to script and other factors. Meanwhile, One Umbrella worked on creating landing pages on my site. Then we tried out a YouTube ad campaign with a re-edit of existing ads that I had made.

The response from this was poor and we moved onto Google Ads. We all thought I'd do better with YouTube Ads, but as is so often the case, you don't know until you try. Google Ads were great for me and I am working with exactly the demographic I was aiming at, which is a pretty specific yet also diverse demographic as it is.

I had contact with the owner of the company when needed but had one person I was communicating with all the time on the team. They led a structured workflow and their communication was very effective.

I got the 5 clients who are a perfect match for me which is a great start. I have a great email list now from the campaign, when I'd started off with a tiny one. I have a tried and tested campaign that I can run myself when I want to.

We've gotten a lot of engagement and activity since we started working with One Umbrella. We will continue to collaborate with them. Unfortunately in March the pandemic struck so we had to pause our campaigns and all music festivals were essentially cancelled. We hope to relaunch soon with One Umbrella once things are back to normal.

The process from start to finish was easy. They got my opinion throughout the project and made sure I was satisfied with the service.

It took us less than a month to get this response, which is off-the-charts compared to our old campaigns.
