The designs and graphical prototypes have been created in-house, so they’re only responsible for front- and backend development.

OGD Solutions’ project management is good. We have an internal project manager who cooperates with their project manager, and everything is very structured. We use ClickUp to manage the project, and we have daily standup meetings. We also use Slack and Telegram to communicate.

The balance between the quality of OGD Solutions’ deliverables and their cost is very good.

No, everything is fine.

The guys helped us in expanding our team with no additional stress. We did like the "on demand" business model since we did's have any additional social taxes or expenses.

The management was done by our company so can’t say much. Everything was efficient.

Quick feedback and even faster results. It took them almost no time to get into our project and find the perfect staff for our needs.

At first we wanted to negotiate a better price but now we know that the good quality should have a nice price tag as well, so no, not at the moment.

We felt we lacked tech resources and hired two more developers in addition to our current team. Artyom and Volodymyr did tremendous work on providing us a properly structured and well-coded software by suggesting top-notch ideas and improving our wishes one after another. Nothing I could come up with straight away, just probably some minor things that I just didn't even notice.

We needed more hands coding to meet a deadline so I decided to find an engineering that could help us build a Fintech system with with PSD2 standards needed in the EU. It needed to be written in PHP and OGD Solutions had the expertise needed.

What were your goals for this project?

OGD helped with the technical documentation, requirements gathering around the PSD2 rules and building a clickable prototype to understand what the end product would look like. For the technical side, we asked OGD Solutions do write the application in PHP (Laravel framework) and Vue.JS for the front-end.

Our CTO and I considered about 3 outsource software development companies to assist us in building this project from the ground up and chose OGD Solutions because of their expertise in the banking field and previous successful track record. We jumped on several calls at the beginning to know each other better, arranged a personal meeting in Ukraine and felt that this was the right decision from that point forward.

The project was to develop a PSD2 compliant system to manage transactions for a fintech company that would process the data properly and so on. OGD provided full-cycle development from the ground along with QA and further support and maintenance.

They've provided us with 1 front-end developer, 2 back-end developers, team lead, QA, and PM who worked alongside our team.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our customer received a PSD2 compliant system to meet the EU law. It was successfully completed and the results will positively impact our presence in the market.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was effective. We received daily reports and held weekly meetings by voice so both we and our customer got the most up to date information. We used Skype and Discord for calls and chat communication. The documentation and any critically important information was shared via emails. In addition, the deadlines were met and we didn't exceed the client's budget.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The code quality was very good and needed little oversight by our team. They never delivered a demo with an issue on it or would fix it immediately. Our expectations were managed properly, and communication was done very well.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Yes, there are. At the early stages, we had a small struggle with overpromises and underdelivering but that happened on just the first development sprint and OGD fixed this issue promptly.

Our workflow has been very productive and consistent. OGDS is highly responsive despite the challenge of working in a different time zone. We communicate quite easily through Google Hangouts, Slack, and Jira.

The goal of the project is to develop an internal CRM system that will help process incoming client requests, manage the work of our marketing team, track various statistics, and more. Currently, we have completed the MVP stage of the project and have moved on to the second phase of development. The team has handled all assigned tasks excellently and on time.

This is our first experience developing a large internal project aimed at significantly simplifying the management of various processes. We had a clear deadline that we communicated to the team. In the end, everything was delivered on time, and the OGDSolutions development team demonstrated professionalism by meeting the deadline, bringing valuable ideas for project optimization, and collaborating effectively with our managers. At this stage, we have completed the first major phase of development, and the team has moved on to new tasks.

We began our collaboration with OGDSolutions by developing a custom website design for our client, and they did an excellent job. Following this, we decided to entrust them with the development of our CRM system. For this project, we engaged not only developers but also a Project Manager who oversaw the development process and communicated all our wishes to the team. As a result, we received an excellent product that helps us in our daily work. Since then, we have involved OGDSolutions in the development of our clients' projects several times and have always achieved the expected results.

So far, we have had the opportunity to work with two PMs from OGDSolutions - Yulia and Vlada - and the experience has always been positive.

We had a pre-built API that we needed to connect to a Ninja Form on our website. This form allows users to upload a photo that is sent to the API via an HTTP request, and the API returns a boolean result. We needed the form to send the photo to the API and then take the result from the API and redirect the user to different landing pages based on the result after the submission of the form.
