Creating a dashboard for the admin, supplier, and CSA agents is within the project's scope. This dashboard would allow them to manage items, resources, and orders more efficiently while also providing customer service and accepting non-custom orders from customers. 

In addition, it is a mobile application for Android and iOS that serves as an e-commerce platform, allowing clients to easily explore desired items, place orders, pay, monitor orders, interact with customer support agents, and request special orders.

A project has five stages: planning, execution, supervision and control, and closing. These five phases helped us organize the project management procedure for mobile applications and gave us a roadmap. The requirements were defined, and the app's idea or concept was conceived during the "initiating" stage. 

The app's scope, cost, time, and resources were all determined using the preliminary criteria. Most of the managerial work had been completed at this point. The executing phase started once the planning stage was completed and the plans were examined. The development of the app started at this point. The project manager monitored developments and reduced risks during this time. We are satisfied that the project was delivered on time.

The project was developed from the beginning to the end. Currently, it runs and we have already many users who use it and order from our platform. Great success! We never had any problem on production. The applications runs very smoothly and we have 4.6 stars in iOS and Android.

• I explored a few various web app developers. Even though the Octalyte staff members were all connected to me, them only operating online and acted as virtual service providers.
• Because I'm not very tech savvy, I was intrigued in their one-on-one, in-person teaching to be continuously connect throughout the project.
• That is mostly why I selected Octalyte. During the first meeting, it was evident that they were really easy to work with.

They did not deliver any such material. Not only did they try to keep our refund of $2500 which we have not gotten back yet, they have not delivered what they promised at all. 
Were not cordial, and most of the reviews that you will find online are probably not even real. Their company is not registered with the state of New Jersey in the correct title and does not even have the right registered agents on there.

The Octalyte project management team was excellent. They are good communicators and always reply the same day, if not shortly after. They accommodate all I need, even if it's anything more I require than what I originally asked for. In addition, the team's communication shows they are genuinely excited about our project. They gave us their expert advice, and even though the job took longer than anticipated, they kept in touch with us at all times and did not impose any additional costs.

The project manager for Octalyte, Sundas, has pleased me. She has taken the stage in this engagement. She is dependable and consistently goes above and beyond. Sundas is accommodating and makes sure I get everything I need.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Octalyte could have done differently?

Octalyte has great project managers, but their entire workforce needs to be on par. Although the development team took longer than expected, the project management team responded to my requests. Moreover, since the beginning of the project, I have yet to meet with the owners of Octalyte. They have yet to get back to me even though the job took six months longer than anticipated.

I’m the founder of a consultancy company. We have a search engine app that has social media functionality.

What challenge were you trying to address with Octalyte?
I hired Octalyte to manage my project and build the prototype of my product. They also worked with me on my website and launch page. I initially wanted to see the cost of developing the app. From there, we decided to develop its prototype so that I had a  tangible product to present to investors. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
Octalyte initially sent me the details of their services, and once I contacted the project manager, we decided that doing a prototype would be more beneficial. I was doing the project on my own, and getting the capital for a full development was possible but would require everything I had — I wasn’t ready to sink everything into it just yet. I needed a proof of concept that I could use to entice investors to partner with me.
 
With those things in mind, the team gave me a mock draft of the project’s stages and phases. We discussed my ideas for the app and what IP rights were necessary as far as the prototype was concerned. Then, they gave me a few mock drafts of their ideas, logo suggestions, and other recommendations based on my vision. From there, they delivered a working prototype and a demo video that showed how it worked.
 
At present, they’ve been working hand in hand with me on my website and launch page. We’re still in the middle of all these, but we’re looking to move to the alpha phase as soon as I can get an investor or secure funds by myself.

Octalyte’s customer service has been absolutely amazing. The team has been extremely open and accommodating to my needs in the current phase. Moving forward, I’d love to continue working hand in hand with them as my venture starts to mature.
How did Octalyte perform from a project management standpoint?
Octalyte has delivered work on time and within my budget. Their communication skills have been amazing, too. We’ve been able to break through communication barriers by having constant communication through emails, WhatsApp, or the back-office CRM system they’ve set up for me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their work has been great. I’ve been extremely satisfied with what I’ve been getting. It’s not always easy to rely on someone to build a product based on how I see it in my head. There will always be ins and outs to this process. However, what’s great about Saad is he’s always willing to adjust their work if they don’t quite capture the vision I try to express.
 
They’ve been forthcoming in making those changes to get my vision. Moving forward, I definitely see this as a huge strength for Octalyte. They’re willing to compromise and bend their thought processes to ensure customer success and deliver my requirements.

Moreover, they make suggestions based on their experience. Even though I have an idea, I don’t yet know everything there is to know about this space. Given that, they share their expertise with me to ensure my idea comes to life.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could work on ensuring they understand the vision I’m trying to convey. To be fair, they’ve been doing their due diligence, adjusting and amending their drafts to fit my requirements.

Be open and patient in terms of communication. English isn’t their first language so you might notice differences in terms of pronunciation and accent. Moreover, be detailed in describing your goals. Don’t be afraid to ensure they’re adhering to those details. They’ll accommodate your needs and do their best to adhere to your specifications.
