As this is a body leasing, tasks are defined and the outcomes reviewed on the daily basis by our project management. The feedback about Oakfusion team's deliverebles is positive. We are satisfied with the cooperation.

Project management is on our side. The communication with Oakfusion team is without any problems. They use tools defined by us like Jira, MS Outlook, MS Teams and GIT. Deadlines are kept by that team.

They can train the people in their "forge" so they have prepared junior developers to be offered to the customers. However they also have some good seniors. They try to make good atmosphere in their company to keep the people onboard. The quality of their work is really good.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could be more flexible and open in the negotiation of the terms of the contract.

I was impressed by Oakfusion's set of skills and experiences. The critical factor was the process on which we based the development works. Oakfusion follows Rapid Development Process, which not only made the understanding of the scope and risks very easy but also enable us to move very fast with development, tests and launch.

Jumpilot system is based on best in class software solutions used by the biggest companies in IoT as well as big data and real-time messaging applications. Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our goal was to test business opportunity by launching, POC and Jumpilot 1.0 as soon as possible with minimum costs. Unique Oakfusion approach, based on Rapid Development Process made it possible. We designed and launched the system in 3 months after the kickoff meeting.

From there we were able to further develop the system based on customer research, feedback and market requirements. As a young startup, Jumpilot has proved that it’s possible to create and sell POC in just a few months. Now the startup focuses on scaling and getting more funds for the project development and marketing.

Clear, direct and open communication at every stage of the project. The team was always proactive and driving the project forward. We were constantly updated on projects deliverables, next steps, challenges and risks.

Oakfusion Team broad knowledge, creativity, engagement and openness. Definitely, the focus on the business outcome is very unique among many Software House I worked with.

Thanks to Rapid development approach by Oakfusion we meet the deadline and create the POC in the budget and time frame. During the development process, I had access to several experts engaged just in time.

It was great to cooperate and most of the aspects were very good.

We worked following a team augmentation model. oakfusion provided a developer who integrated with our team. The developed helped us to build a dashboard for store managers in the retail industry. The platform showed usage and utilization data for people working in stores. We mostly used Kotlin, Ratpack, and RxJava.

We started the cooperation in February 2020, and it’s open-ended. It’s fine, so we don’t expect to stop it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We contacted oakfusion because we had a tight deadline that we couldn’t meet given our capacity. We met the deadline, which is a tangible measurement of success. Users were also happy.

I’m also happy with the quality of their developer’s work. Initially, we expected to give him simpler tasks because we assumed that it would be hard for him to understand everything. However, there wasn’t a problem at all. He’s an experienced developer.

How did oakfusion perform from a project management standpoint?

We have discussions via phone or email and come to agreements that oakfusion keeps. We don’t have any problems with communication, which is rather straightforward. If there are any problems or questions, they state them clearly. The developer works fully remotely and nonetheless integrated well with our team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It didn’t take much time for their developer to acclimate to the project. He quickly integrated with the team. oakfusion’s communication is also great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In the beginning, we might’ve looked for a few more people. There was only one person available from oakfusion with a certain seniority level.

Trust them. For a team extension, they’re reliable and straightforward.

The project goals from my company point of view is achieved so far in 100% as expected. The project is T&M, Oakfusion delivered serivces allowing us to invoice our client and get paid. The project is not finished yet, so I can not assess the impact on client's business at this moment.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Oakfusion’s team and solution were excellent. Even when there was pressure, their willingness to go the extra mile was a given. When areas were adjusted, the extended team or new requirements were never an issue during the cooperative engagement.

We used a scrummaster in the beginning, and towards the end, they employed an engineering manager to manage our project. Everything was well done.
