Over the past 12+ years, Nowsourcing has created more than 30 infographics related to the industries we cover. In December 2023, Nowsourcing produced an infographic to accompany a new site launch. Their distribution efforts for the infographic produced 77 backlinks and that helped grow domain authority for the new site from 0 to 26 in just a few months. Overall organic search traffic to the site continues to grow steadily.

While we saw remarkable results with 109 acquired backlinks, a more comprehensive understanding of the specific outreach tactics, target websites, and the overall approach would have been beneficial. 

A more granular breakdown of the strategy would have allowed us to better grasp the intricacies of the process and align our expectations more effectively. However, it's important to note that this suggestion is offered with the understanding that the overall success of the project speaks volumes about NowSourcing's capabilities, and we view this as a constructive opportunity for improvement in future collaborations.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

People were impressed with NowSourcing’s work. Our client was extremely pleased with the infographic; it was even called out as something unique and innovative when we used it in proposals. For context, infographics weren’t popular back then, so it was great for us to be on the leading edge with NowSourcing, which was truly on top of the project. 

Overall, they created a truly sharp infographic that we were able to use in our project. We were able to use it in other projects, too. We put it in some reports and deliverables in some projects; our team also used it in proposals and marketing materials. It had the right look and feel, and it conveyed information quickly. Users could glance at it and understand what it was about. 

How did NowSourcing perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was outstanding. They were super proactive and customer-focused, and we had an amazing experience. We mainly communicated with them via email and phone.

NowSourcing did a great job of turning a complex process into a series of clear and simple steps. They did impressive work upfront to ensure they truly understood what we wanted to communicate and how we wanted to communicate it. Because of that, their first draft was close to exactly what we wanted, and they needed to do only minimal rework and edits.

Be prepared. NowSourcing can offer plenty of strategies and ideas if you’re not sure what you want. However, the more prepared you are to give them the information they need, the better quality their work will be. It’s a two-way street. That said, they can design something that’s going to get you where you want to go if they understand what you want to communicate and what end result you want.

I love infographics and the powerful way they can tell a story and connect emotionally with the reader. I have hired Brian and NowSourcing several times over the years. Most recently at Acronis from February - May 2020 as well as a series of B2B / cloud pieces from 2012 - 2014 for ProfitBricks. 

NowSouring was tapped to come up with a series of infographic campaigns to attract both media and SEO benefits to an otherwise confusing, crowded and complex B2B technology space. NowSourcing was readily available and moved the projects forward in a nimble manner from stage to stage. From the research phase, it was handed off to the design stage. 

Once designed, projects were then QA’d and implemented. Once the projects were live, the promotions team took over project management and provided a weekly update. Once projects were finished, we were provided a recap of media placements and quantifiable results.

NowSourcing initially developed a website for my private practice. From there, they designed and built a second website. I met with Brian (Founder) and his wife during the first project to discuss what I needed. We talked about the details of the project, and from there, they created the website from scratch. 

Regarding features and functionality, I used the first website to offer nutrition counseling and promote my services. Meanwhile, the second website was a bit different. I put blogs and articles on it from a magazine. NowSourcing created a sliding function to make it easier for users to see what was on the website. 

Moreover, their team also handled designed work. I gave them all the necessary information and some pictures, and they developed some graphics for the website. The designs for both websites were done from scratch, too. They also did hosting and maintenance for the websites.

NowSourcing created three pieces of infographics that were a part of our content strategy. The team then managed its distribution across their network and the PR team. 

To create the infographics, we provided a content brief. We went back and forth on the content flow and what it needed to cover until the end client approved it. Their resources handled the design and development of the content, and we published it on a web page provided by the client. From there, NowSourcing proceeded to promote and distribute the infographics from that published web page.

Since working with them, we’ve generated over 500 backlinks with a DA average of 46. They’ve also been able to help us increase our Google search rankings for several different keywords.

They’ve done an excellent job in this regard. They keep track of the backlinks on a Google Sheet. We communicate mostly via email.

I’ve been most impressed with the professionalism, efficiency, and responsiveness of their team. They’re also affordable, great with keyword research, and knowledgeable about SEO.

They can improve on getting more syndicated links on big sites.

Have them write one feature article per month, and don’t forget to request that they do keyword research for the website beforehand. Also, have them do the marketing for each article — this has worked really well for us.

We’re still building our website and other items, so we don’t have concrete success metrics yet. However, NowSourcing has really helped us differentiate ourselves within our industry. The infographic they delivered looks very professional. They gave us a unique identity and a tangible way to explain our process to clients rather than explaining it in theory, which has been helpful. 

How did NowSourcing perform from a project management standpoint?

NowSourcing performed very well from a project management standpoint. Brian is amazing and a pleasure to work with; he immediately understood our vision. 

Most of our communication has been through Brian, who is very efficient. We went through several infographic iterations, and the team was happy to make changes and answer our questions in great detail. They got on as many calls as we needed to get the project right. We communicated and managed the project through WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been most impressed by their fast responses and willingness to help with items outside the project scope without charging us. They’re incredibly efficient and handle requests within minutes, which sets them apart from their competitors.

They take research seriously and provide factual information instead of assumptions that might make the infographic look nicer. We’ve worked with other service providers, and NowSourcing is more detail-oriented in their research process, which is nice. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with the team.

NowSourcing could be more professional in their communication. We manage the project and communicate via WhatsApp, and I think it could be beneficial to systemize the process or use a website to manage the project.

I advise meeting with the NowSourcing team if you’re unsure about or unhappy with something because they’re always willing to work with you to make it right.
