I’m the owner and creative director of a design agency. I do a lot of graphic design, social media, content creation, etc.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nomad Endeavors?

I had just started my business and wanted to have a website. However, I was busy with client work and couldn’t find the time to build my own website. Not to mention it’s not something I specialize in any way. I was looking for a vendor that’d take on the website and work independently with little contact and follow up from me.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built my website and it’s hosted on GoDaddy. A key objective was to make the website mobile-friendly because I knew that’s how a lot of my clients would access it. I was also aware that I needed to establish a privacy policy, and Nomad Endeavors took care of that.

They also built a seamless way for clients and potential customers to contact me. Their team integrated all of my social media profiles onto the site so visitors could click on the respective icons to be directed to my social media accounts.

They reached out to me on LinkedIn shortly after I launched my company. I saw their website and portfolio and was impressed. The quality of their work and their notable clientele was an indicator that they were professional. They were genuine and eager to help.

I invested about $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

It was relatively quick, it started and ended in July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

As soon as the website was live, I received a significant amount of inquiries and people contacting me. I got five clients just in the first week of my website being published.

How did Nomad Endeavors perform from a project management standpoint?

It was pretty seamless. As I mentioned, I wanted to be hands-off so there was minimal communication. With the initial brief and conversations, they gathered my goals and then went to work to meet them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I liked that the project was quick and there wasn’t a lot of back and forth. What’s more, if I ever had questions, they were always super helpful in showing me how things worked. Now, I maintain the website myself, so it’s great to understand why they did what they did. It was an educational process and not solely their team doing the work for me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about your objectives upfront. Having a solid foundation of communication will do wonders.

I needed help with web development and digital marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped me with all of the marketing. They were very helpful with finding me new clients and marketing over multiple platforms. They also created my website and social media. They helped me with SEO as well. They used Squarespace for my website. I went to them with a few of my images and a general idea and they put together the whole website design.

What is the team composition?

AJ (CEO & Founder) was handling most of the work. I was mostly in contact with the project manager. From time to time, AJ would check up on the status of everything to make sure I was satisfied with what I was getting.

I got a few proposals and they had the best price.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $1,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2020, and we wrapped up in August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They met all my expectations. They did really good marketing and it really boosted my business up and helped me achieve what I wanted. I’m very happy with their work. I downloaded the Squarespace charts that show how many viewers the websites been getting over the past year. I’ve noticed a big increase. We’ve gotten a few more leads via email. They explained to me that it takes time. I’m optimistic that with everything set up I’ll be able to get more viewers and such.

Project management is excellent. They meet deadlines and communication is good.

I was very happy with the services provided.

They’re an excellent service. I have no complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let them lead the project and give ideas. I let them play their game and they provided me excellent service. It’s good to listen to them. They’re very knowledgeable about marketing. I didn’t know anything about it, and they ended up teaching me a lot.

Nomad Endeavors has helped us redesign our website. They’ve done some reconstruction, enabling us to produce more useful information and accurate knowledge about who we are and what we do to potential customers. They’ve also done some SEO work on several search engines, including Google and Yelp.

We work with three people from their team. 

How did you come to work with Nomad Endeavors?

They were referred to us by a friend.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around October 2019 and our relationship is ongoing. However, the work slowed down a lot due to COVID-19 for a few months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re much busier than before. We’ve had an increase in traffic, phone calls, emails, and new customers. The market has opened up for us; we’re very pleased.

How did Nomad Endeavors perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re on point. The team is available and responsive, and they provide honest feedback. We communicate mainly through text and email, with some in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They bring a lot of new ideas and knowledge to the table. We’ve been really impressed with some of the ideas they contribute to our project.

No, there’s nothing to improve.

Meet with them in person, if possible. Explain what you want; they’re good at understanding and exchanging ideas to help you.

Newsha is an exclusive brand for hair salons and hairdressers. I am the CTO of the company, I oversee all IT decisions at Newsha, I make sure that our digital integrations and operational logistics are efficient and are on point!

We hired Nomad Endeavors for Video Production services.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal for this project was to increase signups for our annual international club. We wanted to showcase the benefits of being part of an exclusive hairdresser community to our potential clients.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We selected Nomad Endeavors, because we have previously worked with them in the past on other projects, and because we know they a great team to work with.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They were with us for a whole week filming our different activities, trips and events throughout LA. They made for us a great promotional recap video of our time In LA.

What was the team composition?

he team had a director, a cameraman and a coordinator.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Yes absolutely, the video was able to generate 25% more signups than our previous year!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Everything from start to finish was seamless, their team was very professional, they always came on time, and the outcome was amazing.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I believe that their level of professionalism, experience and friendliness is pretty impressive compared to other agencies out there.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not that I can think of.  I believe they are on track to be disruptors in the industry. I was actually very surprised when we realized that they hired a German cameraman for us! That was very good of their part.

Please describe your company and your position there.

Our company is a Registered Investment Advisory firm. We manage retirement plans for retirees and pre-retirees, in order to maximize their retirement plan and their retirement income. I am the client services manager. I oversee all customer service and client-related operations. I also act as a liaison for some of our vendors and coordinate related projects and events.

For what projects/services did your company hire Nomad Endeavors?

We recently had a brand change, and I have worked with this company in the past. They have incredibly well-done content, of incredible value. I recommended them to produce some of the rebranding content that we had slated for our brand launch, which included various multimedia services.

What were your goals for this project?

The re-launch our brand, with an emphasis on our methods, and our staff, stepping away from the emphasis of service from a single individual.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I have seen a lot of this vendor's work in the past, and I have always been a fan of the quality of their work. I have worked with a number of these companies throughout my time in the financial services industry, and in my time in the film industry itself. The quality, professionalism, and experience of these individuals far surpass any other company or group that I've worked with, worked for or hired. We hired them because they are the kind of quality we needed, and I plan to work with them on any related future projects.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They were tasked with capturing footage of a live event and implementing it to create a brand launching multimedia video. They produced all photographic and video content necessary for our brand launch and coordinated with our branding team to execute the vision of our company.

What was the team composition?

The team consisted of three very skilled individuals, specializing in videography, photography, film editing, directing, and sound engineering.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The content is the best that has ever been produced for our company, by a landslide. The content that produced was a massive upgrade from what we had before, and has supplemented the legitimacy of our company, which is already superiorly qualified, and added an exponent to the quality we seek to represent.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was a little challenging, but specifically, because there were so many coordinating parties involved. We were simultaneously working with a local radio station for a live event, our branding advisor, our online marketing specialist, and the CEO of the company. At times, they circumvented me to communicate with the production team, without communicating with one another, which initially complicated coordinating some of the on-site recordings that were planned. But the production team quickly adapted to the changing gameplan, and after a definitive gameplan was confirmed, executed flawlessly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found their experience and their professionalism the most impressive. They are not amateurs by any means. They know their craft, they are self-sufficient, and they put quality first. They have clear and effective workflows and are not casual by any means in this industry. They do this for a living, and it shows.
