Nifty Studio was tasked with elevating Qube’s brand presence through a complete visual and digital revamp. The engagement began with in-depth consultations to understand our company values, service offering, and ideal client profile. From there, the team developed a cohesive branding system and an optimized digital platform that reflects our identity and supports our business growth.

All deliverables were met on time, and they were quick to adapt whenever feedback or adjustments were needed. January - March 2025 - Social Media - organic and paid-for advertising via Meta Business & TikTok, new website improvements and updates/renewal plus SEO optimisation, setup and reporting/metrics valuables.

Designs have been brought up to date and on par with our corporate identity.

New website design and rebuild took place and will be switched by early next week. It reflects our brand and stunning design elements make it inviting for the viewer and prospects.

Project details were briefed each month/weekly and social media, SEO, website, design, improvements were all reached as communicated. When there were a holdup or trouble with setup the team would communicate and seek alternatives to help reach our setout goal and Managing Director's expectations.

They are an integral part of our brand operations to ensure effective corporate identity and association.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Nifty Studio could have done differently?

Suggestions:

• Scheduling a meeting for every second week would be helpful and handy to have that expectation and consistency with communications to know the exact goal and expectations, concerns etc. for the upcoming and next few weeks.
• Weekly reporting with exact task via the hour indications/statement (say every Friday/end of the week) - not only stating say: 'Social Media' but something in the line of: 
  • Week 1/Date of week: organic Social media schedule , reel design and content etc (hours spend on design, copy tweak and design)
  • Week 1/Date of week: website design build and implementations,
  • Week 1/Date of week: paid-for meta business etc. and so forth

Nifty Studio was commissioned by Connect EQ to design and develop a custom infographic that visually communicated key information related to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. The primary goal was to create a clear, visually engaging, and professional piece that aligned with Connect EQ’s brand identity and could be used across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn.

The project involved collaboration between Connect EQ and Nifty Studio’s design team to conceptualise, refine, and finalise a graphic that translated psychological and wellbeing content into a concise, accessible visual format.

Nifty Studio demonstrated good overall project management throughout the process. They delivered the final infographic on time and met the agreed-upon deadlines, which we appreciated. Their responses to our requests were generally timely and professional, and communication was clear during the initial stages of the project.

However, there were a few moments where we had to follow up twice to receive updates or confirm progress, which slightly impacted the overall communication flow. Despite this, the team remained courteous, cooperative, and open to feedback, ensuring that the project moved forward smoothly once contact was re-established.

Nifty Studio managed the project in an organised and structured way. They delivered the final infographic on time and maintained a generally professional approach throughout the process. While their communication was mostly responsive, we did need to follow up twice for updates during the design phase. Overall, timelines were met, and the workflow remained smooth once feedback was shared.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Nifty Studio could have done differently?

While the overall experience with Nifty Studio was positive, there is room for improvement in terms of creative depth and polish. The final design could have been more visually striking and refined — something that truly stood out as professional agency work rather than a design that could be produced internally. Adding more conceptual creativity, stronger visual hierarchy, and a “wow” factor would elevate their future projects and better reflect their full creative potential.

I'm an executive at a wine exporting company. We trade various goods for the export market from South Africa, mainly to Asian markets.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nifty Studio?

We started focusing on a new market and needed help setting up a one-page website to get a basic footprint on the web. We wanted to make sure that potential customers could find a professional website when doing their initial research online.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nifty Studio designed and developed a one-page website using WordPress. We provided them with our company profile and other print media and digital documents created in the past. We asked them to use that information, layout, and graphics and put them in a webpage format.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people from Nifty Studio. One was the major shareholder, and the other was a graphic designer.

How did you come to work with Nifty Studio?

We found them online, and they were located in the same city where we live. It was a good fit in terms of convenience. It was a small project, and we needed someone we could quickly engage with and get it done.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent roughly $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–March 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The engagement was very quick and efficient. The data was already there, so we had a quick meeting and told them to do their thing. Nifty Studio delivered what we asked for.

In terms of graphics, it was pretty straightforward. It was a basic template. The engagement was short and sweet. We had one or two small corrections, and the project was done. It was a very efficient process; after one month, we had an almost perfect outcome.

How did Nifty Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Nifty Studio's project management was excellent. The engagement was very good, and we connected with them. They were nice people. The communication was via phone, WhatsApp, and email. Overall, we had a very good experience with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was a good cultural fit. Nifty Studio was young and vibrant, and they lived close by. It was a nice community feel when we engaged with them. Other agencies didn't have that close personal connection.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Our engagement was limited, so their services and abilities went beyond what they did for us. What they did for us was simple, and they ticked all the boxes. Although there's always room to fine-tune the final product, Nifty Studio delivered in an efficient way and within the expected timeline.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go well prepared. If you hand them all the tools, information, and a clear idea of what you want, they can quickly execute it. If you don't know what you want and they need to go back and forth with various concepts, you're going to slow the process. Nifty Studio has the ability to execute fast if they know what they need to do.

Perhaps a permanent arrangement of a check-in every second week (not only when asked for a meeting) as well as a time and cost sheet per week (say, every Friday) may help to let the MD see the value and true scope of time, money spend and how long implementations actually take (time wise). We need to show progress even if it seems little, little goes a long way and may take time. If we can keep the consistency with this, it will help the Nifty team to guide operation goals and to not let any impulsive whirlwinds/new ideas from our side disrupt acrual set out goals' progress.

Good comunication from their side as well as clear guidence and creative input. The project did however take longer then planned due to delays on both our, and their end. This however was understandabel at the time due to company re-structuring. We also tweaked our request quite a few times. A qaulity product was delivered that catered perfectly for our needs.
