I’m the founder of a non-profit based out of Orlando, Florida.

Our network and systems were outdated so we were looking to upgrade all of it.

What were your goals for this project?

Upgrade the equipment to provide a better performance, efficiency, and network security.

How did you select NexOne Technologies?

They were referred to us and after initial conversations, we decided to hire them.

Describe the project in detail.

They assessed our current equipment, created a plan of action, and after agreement on that plan we moved forward. Everything from the planning, purchases, and installation was handled by NexOne Technologies. We are currently clients of NexOne Technologies and they continue to provide support, equipment monitoring, and pretty much they manage our network.

What was the team composition?

We have direct contact to someone always available for us.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Everything is working much more efficiently and we have not encountered any major issues. It has now been a few years that they have worked with us and their support has been outstanding.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are very responsive. We hear back from them most times within minutes. If you submit a request, they will answer.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The vast knowledge within their team. They have worked with us in the IT space, audio/visuals, and web development space as well.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I believe there's always room for improvement. We have been with them for quite a while and for any hiccups that we've encountered we are able to speak directly to them in which case they have always found a solution for and we have been taken care of. They truly are loyal to their customers.

I’m the president of Orlando Tax Mastering, an accounting and tax preparation firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with NexOne Technologies?

I was transitioning from a one-person operation to an entire office and needed a partner to provide IT services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We purchased the hardware for our systems, such as the server and computers, and NexOne Technologies set up the entire network. They connected to a firewall to ensure hackers couldn’t get in, and they recommended various other security features because of the confidential information we had. They continue to provide IT services and even created our website.

We have one main point of contact.

How did you come to work with NexOne Technologies?

They were a referral. They had good customer service, were timely, and offered a fair price, so we hired them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $5,000 a year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We partnered in October 2014, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our network functions well; we haven’t had any major concerns. If something goes down, they fix it quickly. They’ve gotten us through numerous tax seasons without any issues, and when we had some hardware problems, they took care of everything.

How did NexOne Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They respond quickly to our calls and emails, especially during tax season. We’re happy with their work, and they proactively make sure our needs are met.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re extremely knowledgeable and always accomplish what they say they’ll do. Whenever a problem arises, they fix it in a timely manner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are always ways to improve, but we haven’t had any problems. The partnership’s been great.
