Brandon and David were great - they were given a very quick turnaround time, and continuously met all project timelines ahead of expection. We just started promting the new brand this week, so we're excited to see the how this impacts future sales!

No, truly! They went above and beyond the scope of work provided, and actually provided us even more than we thought we'd be getting in terms of the re-brand by helping create logos for all of our Show Features. They were so lovely to work with!

The scope of work focused on establishing the strategic and creative foundation for Big Moon as a new youth-focused fashion brand. The engagement included research and strategy development, creation of a creative brief, and exploration of multiple brand territories supported by mood boards and conceptual frameworks.

Together, we reviewed and evaluated these territories to identify the direction that best aligned with the brand’s audience, values, and long-term vision, ultimately selecting and refining the Teen Spirit (Refined) territory. The work emphasized defining the “world” of Big Moon, including brand personality, tone of voice, emotional direction, and overall aesthetic.

Key deliverables included brand strategy and positioning, brand territory concepts, mood boards, and a finalized brand direction. The engagement concluded with the delivery of a Brand Book, including brand guidelines, logo and icon system, color palette, and typography, to serve as a foundation for future logo application, visual identity development, and brand execution.

The project stayed on schedule with all deadlines and meetings met as planned. The consistent momentum and high level of professionalism resulted in a strong brand foundation and a comprehensive Brand Book that supports Big Moon’s next stages of growth.

The video demonstrated the simplicity and functionality of the system, effectively highlighting Caplow Manzano's expertise in creating adaptable and efficient architectural solutions. neuelane managed the entire production process, from on-site filming to post-production, ensuring the final video was tailored for both web and social media. The video was delivered in both vertical and horizontal formats to maximize reach and engagement across platforms.

I’m the chef-owner of Doce Provisions, a Cuban chain restaurant with three locations in Miami.

What challenge were you trying to address with neuelane?

We needed to update our website since we were about to open two new locations. Additionally, we needed new branding for one of the restaurants.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

neuelane created our new location’s branding and designed and developed our website. When we contracted their services and agreed on a price, neuelane conducted three in-depth interviews and gave us a questionnaire to know our company. 

After this, neuelane created a production schedule where they outlined the branding ideas, inspirations, and examples. We specified the design style we were looking for. The new location is inspired by a little Cuban hummingbird specie. This was important for our branding, and we asked neuelane to incorporate it.

Moreover, neuelane updated our Squarespace website and developed a new one on WordPress. They didn’t change our main brand design; they just adjusted the color scheme to match our new location’s branding. neuelane integrated the necessary plug-ins and created new pages as needed. The site also features our digital menu, which I can update.

Our site now shows all three restaurant locations. neuelane also produced the photos and videos for the site. They managed the complete production and on-site shooting. The photos and videos showcase our locations, menu, and distinctive dishes being cooked. 

Although the project is completed, I contact neuelane when I need to update something on our site. For instance, we recently had an article published in The New York Times, and we asked neuelane to include it on our site. They also created the QR codes for our digital menu.

What is the team composition?

We worked with around 6–8 teammates from neuelane. The production crew consisted of three team members. We also worked with a creative specialist in charge of branding and a web developer.

How did you come to work with neuelane?

We met neuelane when they produced a book with the most famous recipes in Miami as part of a relief fund for restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. neuelane contacted us to include our croquette recipe, and all the book’s profits went to the participating restaurants. We contacted them later for this job.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $25,000 with neuelane.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with neuelane from August 2021–February 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website neuelane designed has helped with our business efficiency. They suggested I start using digital menus, which has been great for our restaurant because we no longer spend on printed menus. 

We’re delayed on our new location’s opening due to in-house issues. However, the branding neuelane created for our new location won a design award. 

How did neuelane perform from a project management standpoint?

neuelane stayed on budget and gave us more than we paid for. They were responsive through Zoom and email, and we used Dropbox to share files. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with neuelane’s communication skills. They were great at follow-up and looked for me when I didn’t answer since I don’t use my phone often during work. 

neuelane kept a close relationship with us and has an excellent team with a great experience. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for neuelane to improve.

I recommend being open to neuelane’s suggestions. Don’t marry with an idea you saw elsewhere; listen to neuelane’s ideas because they’re knowledgeable and experts in their field.

They helped us enhance our exposure and positioning through their work. They helped us deliver the message that people could receive a clean and safe product to their door. Overall, they went above and beyond the scope every time to help us, particularly when they knew what we were going through.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We used an agency referral service who put forward 10 different companies. Neuelane went the extra mile to understand our vibe and what we wanted before presenting us with a potential campaign that nailed exactly what we were looking for. Plus they were such a joy to speak to in the process and we really vibed.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We wanted our Summer campaign to have subtle references to a swingers party that was meant to be fun and playful but not obvious or raunchy. They showed us visual concepts and title treatements as well as a reference video. We went back and forth on the copy and concepts before they went forward with finding talent and a location, which again, we went over together.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had a team of 3 from Neuelane and they hired all crew and models. We had a robust glam team (beauty shoot) as well as about 6 people on the production crew.

The project turned out fabulous and we had so many "shares" and comments on social media mentioning just how amazing the campaign was. The ads we ran with the content had very high engagement as well and we were able to get a LOT of content from photos to videos to gifs and stories etc.

They were always on top of the process, making sure we were happy every step of the way.

Once neuelane learned out style and creative direction, they became very good at creating content for us that aligned with our brand guidelines. We have created award winning campaigns together that resulted in lift in sales.
