What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We can already begin to see time savings in creating the new deliverable that is then compounded by the number of team members using this specific workflow to see a quantifiable win across the board.

This was our first time dabbling with Microsoft Power Platform tools, but the team surpassed our expectations. There was a very thorough intake process leading to helpful check-ins and an official handoff teaching us to proverbially fish with the Platform tools.

Would often get the same person on the help desk, and they'd remember something I said (for example about my dog), and ask about it. They were very personable and friendly while completing tasks timely and thoroughly

We look for Success to share in the responsibility of overseeing Great River Greening's full technology stack and environment.

As the internal staffmember whose ultimately responsible for our tech stack and environment, I hear tech-related complaints or issues from staff. Since our transition from our old MSP to Success, the number of tech issues I've received has precipitously declined.

One of the keys to the success we've experienced has been Success' ability and willingness to work within our timelines, and the inherent need for those timelines to shift from concept through fruition. In all cases, Success delivered well within expectations.

They also provide cybersecurity services and ensure that our internal business addresses are not being hacked.

PCA Technology Group was hired as our Managed Service Provider to supplement to work I do as our company's IT Director. Additionally, PCA took on the role of 'Qualified Individual' as it relates to the FTC Safeguards rule. PCA takes on a helpdesk role, as well as manages our network with DATTO RMM and Watchguard EPDR.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

PCA schedules 'Periodic Business Review' Meetings to help us align technology requirements with our organization's ongoing business objectives and needs. PCA installed Datto RMM and Panda Adaptive Defense on all of our endpoints.

PCA project management was excellent. Our relationship at the beginning was rather bumpy. To their credit, sensing my displeasure, weekly calls were scheduled with the key personnel of both organizations until everything was on track and I was satisfied. It was a good feeling that they would go to such great lengths to get us onboarded in a fashion that met my expectations. We are now in a very good cadence of how things get done and I couldn't be happier.

It's worth repeating from the previous question, PCA Technology Group delivers on their promises. Every person that I've had the chance to interact with are professional, respectful, and willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy their customers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something PCA Technology Group could have done differently?

We've just reached the milestone of having PCATG be our MSP. As I stated earlier, the first two weeks were rocky, and maybe that is to be expected. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the details as to why I felt that way, but PCA stepped up and was willing to schedule weekly 'check-in' calls until I was delighted with their services. I'm happy to report that these weekly calls did not last for very long.

Lakelet Capital is a Buffalo, NY based private equity group investing in companies for growth and succession. I am the Communications Coordinator for Lakelet Capital. I look for best practices for our office and I am the direct liaison for PCA.

Our company was quickly growing and we needed an IT group that would be reliable, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and easily accessible.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We researched a few local IT companies and a few of our employees at Lakelet Capital (including myself) had prior experience working with PCA and was a very positive experience. PCA was very thorough with their process, answering any of our questions in a timely manner and took the time to understand our business along with our IT challenges.

They first took note of all our monitors and installed a new firewall for us.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our main point of contact began with the account executive, Bob, who did a great job with answering our questions and helping the transition run smoothly. We also met with Steve, President of PCA, that helped answer our questions and provided us with very helpful information. We also were introduced to Rick, our Relationship Manager, who is a joy to work with and has also made this process smooth and easy.

We now work directly and mostly with our Project & Onboarding Manager, Matt, who is always available to solve any IT challenges and is always willing to stop by our office to make sure everything is completed in a timely fashion which is very important to us and he is a huge help!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had an unfortunate situation happen where our wifi and internet were running very slow and then eventually stopped working… even though we figured out that this was not an IT issue but more of a Spectrum issue, Matt still came to our office within 30 minutes of me calling him and explaining what was going on.

This demonstrated how he (and PCA group) really cares and wants the best IT support for us. The team is always super responsive and it helps a lot when these urgent situations happen.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very easy to follow through with and as a result, we fully understood what was to be expected along with pricing packages.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I find that PCA is very organized and always follows through with any questions I have. They are always answering our calls and handling the issue in the same day. As a small business, we find this very important to have the constant support and are able to trust PCA.

As of right now, there are no areas of improvement that need to be discussed.

I am the primary IT person for the American Swedish Institute, a cultural and educational nonprofit based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The organization stewards the historic Turnblad Mansion, hosts gatherings and events, and provides education in Swedish language, craft, food, and culture. In my role, I do user support, some systems and network administration, and high-level project planning. I am responsible for the overall health of the network, computing systems, and AV systems onsite.

ASI's previous MSP was not maintaining their side of their service agreement, and was unable to meet the needs of our business. Success took over managed services in their stead.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The selection of the vendor was made prior to my involvement - my understanding is that the CFO at the time had read good reviews of the company and had talked to several companies, ultimately selecting Success as the final candidate.

Success provides comprehensive monitoring, patching, and security services for the IT infrastructure at ASI. They also serve as a point of escalation if I am unable to resolve issues as the in-house IT person, or am in need of in-depth technical assistance on a project. Success is proactive in their maintenance of the environment, but still allows for autonomy of the internal IT resources.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I don't have detailed information on this, as the transition to Success occurred before my involvement at ASI.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Success helps me maintain a high standard of service in our IT environment. I have capable on-call assistance if I need it, and can focus my efforts on strategic improvements rather than routine maintenance.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I am very happy with the level of cooperation we are able to achieve. Success reaches out if they need to do anything in-depth, and I reach out if I have technical questions. Together we serve ASI's tech needs quite well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Success seems to flow well internally in terms of work division, and everything I've heard from their senior staff makes it sound like a great place to work. An interview with them prompted my reading both "The Goal" and "The Phoenix Project", both of which helped me to think of business processes in new and interesting ways.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing substantial! Success has been a valuable partner for our IT operations. Even in the rare case that things don't go well, they are quick to follow up and resolve issues.
