I’m a partner of an export-based company. We manufacture bags, wallets, and items made out of leather, jute, and canvas.

What challenge were you trying to address with Netbase JSC?

I wanted to customize one of our plug-ins so I hired Netbase JSC.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Customization was required for one of our plug-ins, so Netbase JSC worked with me on it. I wanted more features to be accommodated, so I provided them with details and requirements. They first spent some time developing snapshots for the overall look and after that, they developed the prototype and then the final product. They spent a lot of time understanding what I wanted, then implemented the final product, and tested it several times.

I was working with two people from their team.

I bought their plug-in and was using it. It was software and I thought that I could offer my customers some level of ease of use which would be better for my industry. I asked them if they could customize it for me and they agreed. They gave me a price and I agreed to it.

How much have you invested in them?

The cost was less than $1,000, which was pretty reasonable.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with them from September–October 2020.

I liked their work and they were very professional — they put in a lot of hard work. I was happy with their services and I’m pleased with using the final product. 

How did Netbase JSC perform from a project management standpoint?

Their performance was really good. Netbase JSC invested a lot of time understanding what my requirements were. Even on weekends, they were available for help.

We communicated by email, WhatsApp, and sometimes through video calls. I had long conversations with them almost on a daily basis — my main contact was very familiar with English, too. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best aspect was their level of service. They’re good listeners, are understanding, and they remember things very well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They did well but there is always room for improvement. If they could have been faster, that could have been good, since then they could do other work as well.

Netbase JSC is an excellent service provider — they might not be the cheapest in the industry, but what they deliver is worth every penny.

We opted to work with Netbase JSC to create a new project that is somewhat similar to Amazon within our country, Mexico, and we went to them to acquire a template.

We selected Netbase JSC because after looking for a solution to our requirement, it was the closest to what we needed in terms of templates.

We estimate that the scope of the project has a very promising future as the platform has the entire structure of both marketing and SEO to make our website a success in the medium term.

As we are just starting at the moment, 1 person has worked with us, his name is Oscar and his role within our project is to clarify some doubts that arise when making changes to the site as well as support when we suffer a problem.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

A measurable result that we can share is that the site we work on has been accepted very well by Alexa Ranking that took the site and placed it in a good position. With a position 1,115 in Mx and 127,477 globally. not to mention that we have only recently started working on the site.

The style of our project management is somewhat different as we work as we progress on our site. Our communication tool has been through our account within CMSmart and the response times are very prompt.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We have been impressed by this company. They are unique because only with them we were able to find the solution to our requirements and also the support from Support at the time we have requested their help.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We consider that the way they work is very optimal, perhaps an area for improvement would be to have guides in different languages, because then sometimes as a Hispanic it can be a bit difficult to read guides that are only written in English.

Netbase are my main outsourced developers for integrating design and print into Magento suites. They own the print and design software suites.

How did you select Netbase JSC and what were the deciding factors?

I found them via Google Search and their marketing attracted my attention, as well as having a very reputable website and information regarding their product + pricing. Price was a huge deciding factor and they had a very clear and comprehensive website filled with tonnes of information about what they do.

We firstly communicated via Skype and I explained what I need, they confirmed that they could service my requirements. I mainly use Magento and occasionally Wordpress/Other CMS systems. Job requirements vary customer to customer on my end, but majority of the time it's integration of their web to print software. The steps vary job to job.

I worked along Janet and Vincent. My main coder of contact was Neo. Janet and Vincent handle my main correspondence for my requests and development needs.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

All integrations were successful and they are a pleasure to work with. The workflow of each job will obviously vary, and they handled each of those jobs with ease, always integrating or developing tools to each of my customers needs - and always repairing or tweaking them until we're satisfied.

In terms of management, I run a small business locally and simply write up my requirements and give them a PDF document of what I need done. They will quote and discuss the job with me, where as when both parties are happy with the job, we would proceed. Any issues or mis communication usually results in further explanation and then the job gets done without any drama.

They're timely, fast, and very polite. Regardless of how complex your requests or development requirements are - they will effortlessly do whatever you need. A company that doesn't say no to any development requirements / requests is something I regard highly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The communication can be a bit patchy sometimes due to the language barrier but this is something that can be easily overcome with further explanation.

I’m a Business developer and manager of a small digital printing of medium to large formate.

We struggled during the COVID lockdowns in our region, and saw a complete shut down of services. We started to think fast how to take a printing business online. With less hands working with us, as people took flight abd returned home, only three core people remained at the establishment.

Coming across Netbase and working along With Gary (Chuong Nguyen), has helped guide me towards what would be the better solution overall and provide a good outcome.

Currently working in the development of the site myself and other, to get ourself out of a sales call, towards a inbound marketing and receive orders online.

Deciding factors, were if they had a product that was ready and requires little coding knowledge and development. Price was another thing, as during Covid19 period, all revenues has dropped to the floor, and survival mode was activated to keep printing at slow outpace.

Lastly it was how the solution looked like, was it customizable, how can I customize it, and selecting that helped.

We were looking for a Web-to-print Soultion, mainly to turn and keep people at their homes and business and have everything from afar completed by clients, while we handle their printing operations from far and safe location.

While delivery is handled as well with a 3rd. Party, as much as possible with the advent of Covid19, we wanted to be safe and ready.

Up to 3-5 people who were involved, from sales, after sales, and developers.

After getting the project, I knew it would take time to develop, but learning this was only the best part of it, so that when in the future I wanted to change or adapt things, I am not hung up looking for a developer to help make minor adjustments, but allow them to focus on major changes.

I had a long mode of conversation about what the issues are, discussed my concerns. They fielded a path towards a solution that makes sense. There were items that requires learning still, but they are ready to support.

The communication tools, are all social, Facebook messenger and WhatsApp afterwards to get as close as possible to the source of information and quick responses.

It’s a solution that can be adapted to several businesses at once.

Just to have a bit of help in early weeks with a on-demand developer, so that getting to a up and running stages helps all to get going.

Netbase is well priced, versatile and super helpful. Vincent, Neo and Oscar have all been great. Initially I researched some companies that could cater to my web dev needs, I found a few in my price range.

I spoke to Vincent who showed me his demo website and other features they offer which is where I decided to use them as my dev team.

We communicate through Skype and their online ticket system as they are overseas. We use the Magento CMS and use their own private software on my website to run the design software and other functionality.

Ive spoken to 3 or 4 people from Netbase. Vincent as my main correspondence. And Neo and Oscar as my tech support and CSS coders / bug fixing support.

As said before, we communicate through Skype, sometimes Teamviewer is used. Primary method of job tracking and following jobs is done on their website. The ticket system is used to coordinate and communicate as all our correspondence is logged and managed by their job manager.

Ive got a very nice looking site and they're very reasonably priced for what you get. The cost of developing my site was fantastic, they have live tech support, a ticket system so you know you're not forgotten about and they're super easy to deal with.

So far so good! They've delivered every request Ive put through so far.

Previously we invited several companies to offer the development of our requirements. In evaluation and review of projects prior to each of the bidders, we selected the NB team as our business ally.

Our company develops high end printed deliverables for clients with constant changing requirements. We have had many customization requests from clients wanting things that our current platform could not manage or fulfill.

As a result we hired Netbase JSC to assist in executing our goals. Our ever-growing list of various features we needed to incorporate included design layout, visuals, digital add ons and orientation subject to the project scope.

We had several referrals and considered them amongst several other vendors. However their stand out customer service skills and competency of the team ensured us that we had made the right decision.

Gary was exceptional in understanding our requirements and provided us with several suggestion and alternatives to our request within our scope and budget.

A series of customizable requests for our design platform were outlined. This was a way for us to be able to make sure our user had a consistent flow journey. The key deliverables were page orientation, design layout, digital add ons etc to name a few.

The technology was a series of hard coding in the backend which harmonized with our own themes and work in the front end.

We actively coordinated with Gary and Vincent on a day by day basis. Gary was immediate point of contact which made it easier to manage. Once we had outlined our deliverables clearly, the project was successfully managed with step by step updates.

Key milestones were outlined and we were able to assist in the testing and development phase. There was no need to coordinate with the development team directly as our requirements were perfectly understood.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The outcomes of the project in general are immediately measurable as we have increased sales as a result. The user flow journey is seamless which means we do not have clients stopping midway through processing an order.

All in all - the projects will be continuous with the team at Netbase JSC. Exceptional results. Great services and delivered within a timely manner.

The key communication skills were via Skype, Whatsapp and the forum board. Our immediate line contacts - Gary and Vincent were exceptional. We were guided step by step and had a series of daily updates so we were on track. A full timescale was presented to us so we could clearly see our track before us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had direct access to Gary which makes everything so much easier to communicate and articulate your ideas. With different time zones and not being able to sit in the same office or location things can be misunderstood.

The fact that Gary understood our request/s and suggested alternatives made me confident that we had picked the best team to work with on our customizations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

My only area of improvement would be the upgrade fee - I feel this should be wavered for customization clients. As we have allocated money for the special revisions / changes, I feel it is slightly unjust to pay for the customizations to be implemented onto the new version of the platform when it is updated.

That is difficult since we struggle with support and functionality since 2020, and it's not finished yet. There is no difference between support and community. The only support is the ticket system and the community is not working actively. So far since 2020: The design and possibilities. The custom coding possibilities if it will be finished.

Support is slow and bounced backs all questions. It takes very long to receive 'to the point' help and guidance. There is shortness in tutorials, help, documentation. After some discussions and long communication CMSMART is starting to willing to finish our issues. I have faith in the future.
