Qtravel.pl is a Polish online travel agency. Thanks to our solutions, the user can quickly, easily, conveniently, and very effectively find any type of holiday package by entering any phrase, eg "trekking in Nepal" in the search bar. As a consequence, consult it, reserve it and buy it from the company's sales department. The company is a beneficiary of EU programs - the Innovative Economy Operational Program. The Qtravel.pl brand was founded in 2010 in Gdańsk and our headquarters are still located here.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We wanted to find a stable partner who could support the development of our organization in the long term. It was very important for us to start working with an organization that is easily scalable. Additionally, we were looking for an organization that would be easy-going and open to various ideas.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The implementation of Net PC included the design and implementation of a platform for online booking of travel offers. The heart of the project was a contextual search engine for travel offers from over 50 polish tour operators. The travel offers include trips, sightseeing trips, cruises, holiday packages, and vacation rentals.

The adopted search strategy essentially distinguished us from other online travel agencies. The aim of the system prepared by Net PC was the most effective and efficient travel search and booking.

It was very effective and efficient. As an outcome of the Scrum Framework and Net PC team involvement, we had managed to establish a successful partnership. Their constant willingness to help and support us in various aspects of the development process was crucial to us. I was delighted to work with them while making our project successful in the international market. To sum up, it was successful cooperation.

I was impressed with the team's communication skills and technological knowledge.

The organization is a leading company in the field of qualitative and biometric research. The company conducts its activities in the latest technologies implementing modern interaction techniques for the needs of marketing research, e.g. eye tracking, face tracking, storytelling and behavioral observation. The company's clients include international corporations as well as smaller companies located in Central Europe.

For what projects/services did your company hire Net PC?

• Lack of flexibility with regular surveys. We could only conduct research with his respondents in specially prepared rooms without the possibility of remote research. This situation significantly extended the research time and increased their costs, influenced the availability of respondents (especially when it was required to reach respondents in a given location)
• Limitations of the technical possibilities of the existing test rooms. Lack of a dedicated web application to support commissioned research to recognize human emotions High costs and long period of research planned in various locations.
• There is no application that synchronizes the recording from the camera with the display of a given stimulus - no checking function if the respondnet's face is visible in the camera before starting to display the stimuli

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

Very important for us was knowledge and expertise about technologies and frameworks like: - TypeScript, JavaScript - Java - Scrum Secondly, it was crucial to find a stable technological partner, with extensive experience in building entire IT systems and innovative web applications. Finally, it was essential to ensure that the system complied with the GDPR

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The implementation of Net PC included the design and construction of a platform enabling: - synchronization of the presentation of stimuli (video and static images) with the recording from the camera - remote camera management after the consent of the respondent. - conducting online surveys and collecting data into one database The developed platform makes it possible to record the respondent's face when the respondents watched the vide materials. Camera recordings are synchronized with the stimulus presentation.

A separate video file is captured for each stimulus. Moreover, respondent, after viewing the stimulus, can evaluate it by filling in a questionnaire (also prepared in the program provided by NetPC). The system works similarly for audio or graphic discs in the web panel. Thanks to the platform, it is possible to collect data online without having to invite people to specialized research rooms. As a result, research can be carried out faster and the cost of such research is reduced.

The process of selecting the companies implementing the project was based on an inquiry sent to several companies. The selection was made on the basis of the offer and the presentation meeting.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

- Elimination of time constraints (respondents did not have to travel to the test room) - The project implementation resulted in a reduction of research costs - Thanks to the tool, it is possible to maintain the standards of the client's research methodology even in the case of a change of research location - Enable automatic collection and storage of structured and accurate data - Providing the functionality of automatically displaying the stimulus (advertisements or photos) with simultaneous recording from an external USB camera or a built-in computer -

The application allows you to send a link to the company's respondents with a personalized presentation of materials - Building a platform enabling automatic generation and downloading of research results in the form of a database - As part of the project, we ensured the implementation and hosting of the application within 12 months of the final product acceptance. - By transferring research to the Platform, the client may conduct his business despite epidemiological limitations

They enable safe data collection even in the event of an epidemiological threat -Thanks to the application, the implementation time of nationwide surveys (requiring research of respondents in various locations) has been shortened

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Thanks to the scrum framework and the involvement of the Net PC team, we managed to create effective and efficient channels for carrying out market research. The NetPC team quickly understood our needs and at various stages of the project made sure that we were getting the greatest possible value from each work performed. Thanks to their unique understanding of the business specifics, we were able to fully respond to the needs of our clients.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed by their approach and flexibility, and to deliver the project on time and within budget.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I did not discover any ideas of improvement. My team enjoyed working with the NetPC team!
