For what projects/services did your company hire Neovibe Innovative Technologies, and what were your goals?

Our requirement consisted of a SaaS model web application and mobile application to manage different client, hospitals, therapist and individuals with special needs. We needed a provision for the special needs to be regularly monitored and analysed for improvement after each sessions with the therapists. We needed the micro analytical data from each individuals with special needs for research and enhance our product.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I searched online and spoke to one of Neovibe's sales people, who visited our office. We also spoke to two or three other companies, but we chose Neovibe because of the cost and their experience and the insights from them regarding our product.

We had approached two different vendors for our products and have failed to receive a desirable application that fits our requirement. Previous vendors over promised and delivered products with sub standard quality. So we were a bit skeptical when approaching a new firm. But Neovibe proved to be exceptional when it came to project development approach. Initially they defined how they approach a project and kept to it through out the cycle. At every stage they ensured that all were in the same page with regard to the developed phase.

They initially spent some time to collect all the requirements, and then developed the designs for all the screens. After ensuring that all designs were as per our expectations, they provided a stage by stage timeline for development and made sure that they kept to it.

Neovibe was really exceptional in keeping to the timeline they committed. If any change was mentioned by us during development, they communicated the change in timeline caused by it and stuck to it.

Neovibe used a project management tool to list out the tasks in the project development phase and gave us a login access to it as well to view the progress of the development. Each task was set with a timeline. A weekly call was set with us to give the progress information

They have exceeded our expectations regarding project handling, design, and development expertise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were very satisfied with the collaboration with Neovibe.

I am the CEO of the company. We are a product development firm with two of our products in the market. Our products are being used by some of the top BFSI, NBFC, ECommerce and LastMile Logistics companies in India and SEA

We wanted an application to log, track and store a high-volume call recording application. The app expected a volume of over 4 million records in a month. We also wanted the application to enable us to find any recording without hassle. The app should be deployable on AWS, GCP or OnPrem and do the archival process without fail.

We’ve previously worked with companies similar to Neovibe with limited success. They were referred to us by someone else in the industry who had used their services.

Neovibe has been helping us develop and enhance our flagship product, mainly working on the data handling part of the solution. They have assisted with the design and development of our applications, but, for the most part, we provide requirements and specifications that Neovibe will follow, providing a deliverable to us.

The cost will vary depending on our current projects. On an annual basis, our team consists of a project manager and a minimum of two full-time resources. We’ve used up to three developers, depending on the scope.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Neovibe was prompt with its deliverables. There were changes to it, but that was because of additional requirements from our side. They ensured we were kept updated about any change throughout the project cycle.

They used a tool called Zoho projects for project management and gave us access to it. So we were aware of the current tasks to be done and their status

Neovibe's approach to the project was something new to us. They made a lot of valuable suggestions even though we thought they weren't right for us. But they made the effort to make us realise how it would benefit the overall project

We are happy to work with Neovibe and look forward to doing more projects with them.

Thakshashila R&D Pvt Ltd is an industrial R&D [research and development] firm targeting the manufacturing of specific industrial equipment, such as real-time protocol analyzers, signaling systems, modernization of existing machinery with minimal functional interference, etc. We are also solution providers and consultants for multiple state governments in India, and vendors for central government institutions such as the Indian Space Research Organization, BSNL, etc. Thakshashila’s registered office is located in the Trivandrum district in Kerala state, India.

I am one of the founders of this institution and have been its chairman and managing director, along with the post of chief of R&D for the industrial wing. My role is to take strategical management decisions for the company along with technical duties associated with the industrial R&D wing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

During one of our projects associated with the government of Kerala, we had to provide a wireless hotspot network spanning an area of more than five square kilometers. The area of implementation was a sensitive area, with recurring issues based on religion and terrorism. There was a need of developing a solution which would be secure enough to be implemented on such a site. Neovibe was assigned with the task of creating a hotspot management system with elements of security as the topmost priority.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Neovibe Innovative Technologies was in charge of the entire development of the software required for the system. They had strict hardware challenges since all the hardware was implemented by us based on a detailed study. Neovibe was assigned specific goals, the hardest of them being the security issue. Each goal/module was specifically tested by hired professionals such as freelance intrusion testers, application interface testers, UI usability testers, etc. Although some of the modules missed the assigned timeline, Neovibe very intelligently managed the other modules so that the total project was rolled out on time.

How did you come to work with Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

Neovibe Technologies was suggested to me by some of my friends in my professional circle, which in turn fetched me meetings with Mr. Akhil Pillai and Mr. Anish John, CEO and COO respectively, of Neovibe. They were very professional and straight forward in their approach, and I personally felt that there were no hidden facts or conditions while they presented their solution to me. This led to the selection of Neovibe for the work.

The contract we had with Neovibe had an estimate of 430,000 Indian Rupees [US$6,422.14]. It was a one-time investment type of project.

What is the status of this engagement?

Neovibe worked with us from August until December 2014.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The project we worked on together is considered a state of the art implementation, and Thakshashila has received a certificate of appreciation for the work from the government of Kerala. The software end is very stable and is currently handling the traffic of an average of 500 simultaneous users. It has also assisted the Kerala Police in order to track down two antisocial suspects who were using this hotspot facility to transmit their messages.

Neovibe's team, especially their CEO and CTO, is well trained in handling high-pressure situations and is very adaptable. Although the timeline slipped in a few instances, they altered their workflow immediately to complete the other modules well within the timeline, rolling out the total project on time.

What did you find most impressive about Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

The adaptability to high-pressure situations is their most impressive feature.

Are there any areas where Neovibe Innovative Technologies could improve?

Neovibe has a very good workforce but with a narrow skill set. They need to diversify by hiring a workforce with various skillsets in order to occupy their client's growing demands.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

While dealing with Neovibe, you must be straightforward and should list out every single requirement and limitation of your project. This will help you to get the right solution at the right budget.

We need to revamp our legacy application Muthoot Life Blood Directory to adapt to new technology. We also wanted to develop a new Muthoot ExiM product for corporate gifting. This system would involve the purchase of goods, sending for manufacturing, recording of orders, creation of redemption letters, sending manufactured goods to respective Fincorp branches, redemption of gift via branch or online public site, and the accounts module to make automatic ledger entries. The system should be fast, responsive, and easy to use for their branch employees.

Post-production defects were less, and they provided extensive support at any stage of development.

They dedicated resources to manage the projects; weekly project metrics were shared, and weekly status meetings were scheduled.

What did you find most impressive about Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

Neovibe Innovative Technologies is organized and detail oriented. Their expertise on UI [user interface] is excellent, and they are very responsive to client queries.

Documentation can be improved. Deliverables like high-level design, low-level design, and test plans could be more elaborate.

BACKGROUND

EndoTech Solutions is running a project called hormonesandme.com. We're a cloud-based platform that allows subscribers, providers, and pharmacies to connect through a HIPAA-secured environment. We help providers prescribe hormone replacements for patients. It's a niche market dealing with compounded bioidentical hormones, allowing patients and pharmacies to connect with providers. We are using an algorithm called Impetus which produces recommendations for hormone therapies based on what answers patients provide in the questionnaires. The results are sent to providers as a baseline for recommendations. Prescriptions resulting from this are then sent to pharmacies. Our company was founded in 2014. I am a Co-Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of the company.

We were working on an initial version of our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Neovibe worked on our initial web platform. Based on patient feedback, we decided to rebuild our infrastructure, coming to what would be hormonesandme.com. That whole website was built by Neovibe.

How did you come to work with Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

I met Neovibe's CEO through a mutual friend who went to high school in India. I initially contracted another company that couldn't deliver but was subcontracting Neovibe. The work done by Neovibe was much better and convinced me to contract directly with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Neovibe in January 2015. We have an ongoing relationship for support and website modifications. We've started to receive user feedback and are incorporating some of those ideas with Neovibe's help.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We launched our platform 3 weeks ago in New Orleans at a big convention called the National Community Pharmacists Association, during which people could sign up on the site. We were working during the daytime and needed to have support, which Neovibe provided even though it was around 4 AM in their time zone. This is one of the best services that Neovibe provided for us.

Neovibe was able to incorporate our algorithm into the software and was excellent at building an easy-to-use interface, which was our main challenge with the last companies we used. Not having a good interface would lose us clients right away.

I recently gave a lecture, part of which had to do with our platform. It's a new and innovative solution that couldn't be approached by many providers due to lack of technological knowledge.

How did Neovibe perform from a project management standpoint?

When we first talked to Neovibe, they laid out what our outline would be and met deadlines well. We only went over by 1-2 weeks, but this was acceptable, given the challenging work which we added on afterwards.

What did you find most impressive about Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

I appreciated the professionalism shown in Neovibe's work and their commitment to getting the project done. We're a small startup, and I'm also a pharmacist, so the technology around building websites was a foreign language to me. Working with a medical provider like myself and relying items in an understandable way that could be implemented is where Neovibe stood out. They were able to create an end-product sticking to our vision, and I've learned a lot from Neovibe.

I visited Neovibe's headquarters and met their whole team, looking at how they operated. I found them to be stand-up, professional people.

Are there any areas Neovibe Innovative Technologies could improve?

No. Neovibe did a great job working with me. The time difference was our only challenge, but it was still workable. Neovibe had meetings with me at 8 or 9 PM if I wanted it. For the quality offered by Neovibe, this was something I could overlook.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Neovibe Innovative Technologies?

Neovibe's CEO is a good point of contact. He has a good understanding of what the client is looking for and will ask the right questions to figure this out.

We are a healthcare technology company with offices in Singapore and India. We develop our own products and also provide services to exclusive clients. I am one of the founders of the company.

We're based in Bangalore, which is India's IT capital.  Commitment can be hard to come by in Bangalore, or it usually comes with a high price. We needed to solve a particular problem for one of our clients, a large publishing company. They’ve been struggling with it for quite some time.

With the help of Neovibe, we developed a global product for our client. It was a one-of-a-kind solution. In addition, most of our work is outsourced to Neovibe. Neovibe has been one of the significant contributors to the development of our product. They are a boutique shop with good proficiency in the field.

I became associated with Neovibe at another organization. We had a formal selection process for the current engagement. Though there are plenty of resources available in Bangalore, I felt we didn't have the right kind locally. That’s why we shortlisted 5-6 companies outside of town, one of them being Neovibe. We were clear with what type of resource we wanted during our search for a partner. Other developers had a more formal work structure, but Neovibe came up with the best solution to a problem that we handed out. Neovibe was smarter than the other IT firms.

The total cost of Neovibe's services has been around $40,000 so far. We plan to invest twice as much going forward.

We have been working with Neovibe for 7-8 months, ever since the company was started. Personally, I've been associated with Neovibe for close to 2 years.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our client’s billion-dollar business runs on our platform at the moment, and we've received a lot of appreciation for it. We were able to offer a good combination of value-for-money and output. As a result, we have started the second phase of that project.

As a part of our own product development, we have worked with medical societies and associations. Neovibe has helped us deliver a breakthrough product for the Indian market. It's currently live and being used by 10,000+ healthcare professionals.

How did Neovibe perform from a project management standpoint?

In the beginning, I had a bit of a struggle with Neovibe when we worked together 2 years ago. However, they've become very structured in the meantime with a more practical approach. I appreciate the good balance between project management methodologies and practical aspects. We've worked with other companies that had a focus on using tools but produced mediocre results. Neovibe is a good fit for us.

I appreciated Neovibe's commitment and ownership. The biggest challenge we've had with services companies is that they don't think like product owners. Neovibe has volunteered solutions for us. Neovibe is an unassuming company but they're able to deliver results.
