I am the co-founder of ARCHELONS, a recruitment company that’s been in business in 18 countries for the past 10 years.

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug Infosolutions?

We’re primarily a traditional recruitment company and we wanted to get into the e-recruitment space. We’ve seen that technology can help scale up our business, especially if we can connect a lot of independent recruiters with our clients based on our specifications.

We thought of creating a platform where we can engage independent recruiters and also grade them, as well as our clients. This is why we contacted Navyug.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We created an e-recruitment platform called End Jobs; the concept was to connect a lot of independent recruiters with the different clients that are associated with us. The platform itself can be used to track the complete recruitment process.

Navyug Infosolutions not only agreed to develop this platform but to also invest in us. They were involved right from the start when it was just a concept and worked in the development as well, including backend and frontend coding. They helped in designing the user interface and in defining the complete system workflow as well as the different software systems of End Jobs.

We uploaded the entire recruitment workflow onto the system, which starts with job posting and ends with the candidate being hired. The entire process is mapped on the End Jobs’ workflow and its main feature is to classify the resumes by obtaining each candidate’s skills such as education, employment details, and their personal information, all of which are automatically uploaded to the candidate´s social profile.

Navyug also created a simple application where we can categorize the candidates depending on the client’s preferences. The system automatically ranks the profiles based on the client’s choices. We created a kind of indexing engine using the elastic search; it can store a large number of our resumes and supply one very fast.

How did you come to work with Navyug Infosolutions?

I knew someone who had been working for Navyug for quite some time. When I presented this idea to him, he organized a meeting with Sunil, their CEO. I didn’t evaluate Navyug before starting to work with them; it was mostly the trust in my contact that led us to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost of the project was $80,000. Since they're involved in this project’s success, the cost was more than we thought it would be. We were estimating that it would be around $50,000–$60,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in May 2014 and it lasted about 9 months. In February 2015, the first version was completed and then there was a small team that kept working on enhancements and things like that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were involved not only in the development but were also part of the concept and participated in solving some of the difficult problems, which isn’t something you find in most software companies.

The user feedback is primarily handled by our team, and whenever we have any requirements, we pass them on to Navyug.

How did Navyug Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We had weekly meetings and communicated through phone and email. They have an in-house project management tool which gives us an idea of how the project is going. We can see the effort as well as the cost online. The system was also used to give feedback to their own internal teams, which was useful because that way they were also aware of the timelines and the cost of the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They don’t say no, even to a complex problem. They always find a solution or develop one that doesn´t exist in the market.

We were actually categorizing around 16 million resumes into different buckets, including company details. They worked on the coding of one of our tools that was available in Oracle — something other software companies don’t do. After that, we could easily classify the resumes and find out the proximity between two resumes using that system.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really; I think everything was good.

I’m a director at People Grid, which is a startup that has developed a mobile app solution that delivers various solutions for employees and customers, helping companies engage people through an awareness program and online feedback system within the app. We are promoting the platform in India. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug Infosolutions?

We wanted to build a 2-way communication solution for boosting employee involvement and productivity, encouraging them to spend less time on WhatsApp and other tools. We focused on engaging people through a better knowledge, training, and awareness system with real-time feedback to let the company know which employees are dissatisfied.

I’ve been a developer for more than 25 years, so I decided to handle the architecture and app design in-house. We wanted to retain control of operations and business development, but we didn’t want to get into development as much, although we could have. It was easier for us to evaluate a company and approach them as a third-party.

We initially worked with a small vendor that closed after only a couple of months. Our second vendor had a good team but couldn’t deliver things on time. Navyug was our third option. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Navyug initially worked on our Android app, taking over from the previous vendor. Then, we expanded to iOS. They had to redevelop and retest the existing work and present it to us in a functioning state.

They were able to grasp our expectations quickly and had no problems understanding what we wanted from a business standpoint. This contributed to a satisfactory output. We have a comprehensive business solution, so understanding the logic behind it was essential.

The solution is suitable for any industry that employs people in large numbers. It can be used for engagement on multiple topics and groups, wherever employees need to provide more output and be more productive. A person working for 7 hours in a company will not necessarily provide 7 hours of output. A study we looked at found that 54% of all employees were disengaged with their company. In order to reduce this number, we need to make them aware of new things at their companies, recognize how to improve their working style, appreciate the general culture and attitude, and simultaneously collect feedback from users.

The app delivers real-time business intelligence and analytics about certain groups of people on certain projects or topics. It's flexible enough to be implemented in almost any industry.

How did you come to work with Navyug Infosolutions?

We were introduced to the company by a reference. Their principals are well-established professionals, and 1 of Navyug’s salespeople is an ex-army person. He lends a sense of discipline, which flows down to the developers. Navyug is not a show-off company, as opposed to others with high visibility but low-quality outputs. I had worked with another company that was comparatively larger than Navyug but terrible. They had a much better portfolio and image but couldn’t handle the work.

We met Navyug, looked at their team and portfolio, and hired them to develop our app. It’s easy to find coders, but finding a team that can sync and achieve a good output is more difficult. Navyug understood the technical nitty-gritty of the app and offered suggestions on how to improve some aspects that I, as an architect, missed.

How much have you invested with Navyug Infosolutions?

The cost of their work was about $8,000. Indian development is a bit cheaper compared to other countries.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Navyug around May or June 2016. The initial project ended in November, but we still work with Navyug for the maintenance of the platform. The apps are available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

We have launched the app on a smaller scale. We have been slow with the business development aspect and are trying to increase our numbers. We are looking at some big customers at the moment.

I would rate Navyug’s work a 9/10, relative to our expectations. We have some improvements to make still, which will be phase 2 for us. The user feedback has been positive, but volumes are still low. People have seen value in the product.

How did Navyug Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

I was able to get my solution up-and-running faster than with other companies, which took considerably more time testing and didn’t deliver a good output in the end. If the rework is reduced, it also reduces the time necessary for delivery, and this metric was very low in Navyug’s case.

They were professional in handling the project, keeping track of our timelines and the hours worked by each resource, and informing me ahead of time of the availability or non-availability of those resources. It was a well-managed and well-communicated project. I didn’t have any complaints.

We mostly communicated through email, but I did drop by Navyug’s office a few times to meet the team and explain the unique points of what we do. We had a meeting per month.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug Infosolutions?

The most important aspect has been the people selected by Navyug’s team. They are technically competent and have the right attitude.

Are there any areas Navyug Infosolutions could improve?

I don’t have any changes to suggest. I’m content with our current status.

My partner and I founded TiresNMore 3 years ago. Our business is the first doorstep tire-fitting service in India. We sell tires in New Delhi and Bangalore and also visit customers’ homes or offices to replace tires. We handle all requirements, including tire balancing and alignment on location. We now have 7 employees. I act as the director and marketer of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug Infosolutions?

We had a problem with our website, as people were finding our services hard to understand. Our business is unique, but customers were not getting the right message. We brought Navyug on board to solve this issue. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

People don’t purchase tires every day, so our customers may not come back to our website for the next 2 years. We really just wanted to make people understand our concept and help them choose the right tires for their cars. Navyug transformed our ordering process and improved the client-facing messaging of our business. They had great suggestions for the front-page of our website and found images that illustrate our niche. 

Our prior customer process was complicated, as visitors needed to know what types of cars they had. Navyug came up with a drop-down menu for selecting the brand of a car, followed by the model. The website then shows customers different tire options and helps them choose the most suitable option. They implemented logos for different tire features, such as low-noise, high-durability, high-traction, or fuel-efficient.

Since we have a doorstep service, we wanted to be clear which areas we cover. When a person enters an address, the website will confirm if we can come on-site, ship tires, or don’t service the area. 

We also have a mobile app for customer feedback, which Navyug created in its entirety based on our ideas. We can enter job details and assign particular tasks to certain teams based on their locations. The teams receive notifications on their mobile devices with the details of the customer for whom they need to fit a tire. Once the team reaches the customer’s house, the app’s second page is enabled. This has a form that must be populated alongside the customer with information like how many miles the car has run and how many balancing weights were put onto the tire. Our teams also fill in how much time the job took and which tires were replaced. Once the work is finished, the customer can enter feedback on the app or receive an email later.

How did you come to work with Navyug Infosolutions? 

They were recommended to us by someone who’d been happy with their services. We reached out to them a year after we started our business. The person who was taking care of our website wasn’t able to translate our ideas into a customer-friendly site. We started looking for other options and asked for recommendations from friends who had experiences with tech companies. They recommended Navyug.

How much have you invested with Navyug Infosolutions?

We have spent $3,000 on the reworking of the website. Including the mobile app development, the total could be closer to $5,000 or $7,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Navyug 18 months ago. The collaboration is ongoing.

We are satisfied with Navyug’s work; they accomplished what we asked. The app and website are working well.

How did Navyug Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They executed the initial project perfectly on time, which is why we trusted Navyug with the app as well.

We went through quite a few demonstrations—using TeamViewer and at our office—in order to show the workload and assess the site’s look and feel. As suggestions were given, they were incorporated into the work.

Our dedicated project manager was quite helpful, taking calls even on holiday. We never had a problem with communication. We spoke via email and phone calls primarily, with face-to-face meetings on a few occasions.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug Infosolutions?

I appreciate their commitment to the timeline. Our previous company couldn’t build our site in 6 months, but Navyug did it in 60 days. They understood that we needed the website quickly in order to conduct business, and they made improvements on a continuous basis. We received a glitch-free website in no time. They prioritized the shortcomings of our website based on their importance and addressed the crucial items first.

Are there any areas Navyug Infosolutions could improve?

I’m quite satisfied, and I can’t think of anything for Navyug to improve.

I was the product head of Edu-e-Web at K.R. Mangalam, a software company in the edtech [educational technology] domain. I started the company with one of my friends. We developed software for schools and video learning software for the consumer market.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug?

We were trying to develop a learning content management system. At that time, we wanted to outsource the project because we were running out of human resources. The challenge was we had to scale up from pre-K to 12th grade in a span of 4 months. We had a huge team of multimedia professionals who were developing day in and day out. The system needed provisions to download the content and export it to mobile devices. Our backend learning content management system had to be strong and flexible enough to handle these requirements.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

There were 3 deployment phases to the project. We were learning as we were building and deploying this platform. Navyug built the learning content management system from scratch, including a strong backend. They proposed a flexible backend mode that we agreed on. We used SCORM, which stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model.

Our first requirement was integrating multimedia assets into the SCORM backend. Our internal multimedia team was developing certain assets that were mapped out to individual classes. These assets had to be cross-referenced so that the multimedia content could be used in multiple contexts. Aside from the multimedia content, we had a lot of questions that had to be hosted on the system’s backend.   

The second part of the project was creating the system’s frontend. Navyug created something really nice from the wireframes I created. The learning content management system was designed for classroom use.

We ran through a lot of focus groups to see how the product and deployment process went. After we started running the system in real-life scenarios, we realized that there were serious changes that needed to be made. There were certain things I did not foresee that had to be tweaked. Navyug’s team understood. They were supportive and made all of the changes, including the ones that increased the scope of work in the final delivery of the project. They didn't even charge us extra for that work.

Navyug made a lot of recommendations that we incorporated into the system. Their suggestions added value to the final output. If I have to quantify it, I gave them probably 70% of the requirements and 30% of the finesse actually came from them. That’s how it all worked out in the end.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Navyug around August 2012, and we ended our work together in November 2012. We had to start the pre-deployment phase within 3 months.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Navyug did a brilliant job. The platform was user-friendly and mobile-responsive. The backend that Navyug proposed and created was better than we had expected. I don't exactly remember the metrics because the project happened a while ago. We had certain key performance indicators. One of those was the number of teachers and instructors who used the platform for delivering their lectures. Our target was to have 60 people using the system daily for 6 months. Navyug did fairly well at this point, and they achieved our target of maintaining user engagement.

Even the feedback was great. Although I don't work with the company anymore, the product lives on and is still being used by 7 schools in Delhi. There’s only been 1 upgrade since the platform launched. From what I hear, it’s been doing well.

How did Navyug perform from a project management standpoint?

Our work with Navyug was more of a collaborative effort. We shared reviews constantly, which they never shied away from. They were open to sharing whatever they had by a certain point in the timeline. They had no hesitations in showing us a half-baked product because we could understand it. Our reviews were frequent too, every 15 days on average.

They stuck to the deadlines for the most part, but they were a few days late. That was completely understandable — we were the ones who kept generating change requests that they had to cope with. Navyug did well in terms of complying with the deadlines that we gave them.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug?

I’ve worked with other vendors, and Navyug stands out because of their flexibility and openness to making changes. It was a shock. If we could logically prove that something was not performing well or certain changes were needed, they were open to incorporate the changes. They did so at any point during the development of the project, even after deployment. Navyug was great at incorporating changes that improved the product without us having to worry about the final bill. Their focus was making a user-friendly product, which they really helped us do. They did not even charge us additional fees for the changes they made.

Are there any areas Navyug could improve?

Navyug could focus a bit more on the user interface. They deployed a strong backend, but the user interface could have been done a little differently. I’m not saying they didn't solve the problem, because they did. That’s the only criticism I can make.

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug?

I was looking for a particular Java resource that could help with me a client’s project, because I needed extra help.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

So far, we’ve only worked on one project. It was an end to end project involving some data mining and data scraping of multiple e-commerce sites from the web, and then the data was stored so that I would be able to gain insights from it including pricing changes from some of the dealers that we targeted. Navyug analyzed the data and generated filtered reports for me. We could analyze the data from different parameters and generate reports and graphs to see which products are having more price fluctuations.

How did you come to work with Navyug?

I knew about Navyug through friends. They have a very broad technological base and can work on projects using many technologies and platforms. If I don’t have the capacity or a certain expertise in-house, I would look for a company like Navyug to help me.

We started working with them in September 2013, and the project was completed in December 2013.

How did Navyug perform from a project management standpoint?

We were using an internal project management tool that Navyug had. The billing, time sheets, task assignments, etc. were managed through the tool. The project was managed well. We worked through the day using Skype or phone calls. We are from the same city but not the same office, but we still worked closely together.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug?

The quality of their work was impressive. Even though their resources are less experienced in their number of years, they deliver good-quality work.

Are there any areas Navyug could improve?

There was an option to have the resource in-house for a couple of days, but we didn’t use it. I think we could’ve worked closer with them.

I’m the CEO and founder of a digital marketing company. We have around 10 employees and have also published an ad-based platform for sports promotion.

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug?

We wanted to focus our business on local sports and build a platform for enthusiasts. I was looking for a partner who could help me do this and found Navyug.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We set out to create a solution for encouraging people to play more sports. The platform allows users to find players based on a type of sport. Once we identified this as the problem to solve, we realized that it was local in nature, so we chose a mobile app as the mechanism for solving the problem. Once the project was defined, we partnered with Navyug. Our team managed everything in terms of thinking through the features we needed and performing first-level design. The development was Navyug’s responsibility. We had an ongoing collaboration between our teams in terms of design and development.

The app was developed for Android and iOS. One feature involves mapping out the play spaces nearby, similar to what Google Maps does for businesses. Users can connect to each other as “play-pals,” the equivalent of “friends” on Facebook and other platforms. The app has social networking capabilities in terms of discovering players, connecting with them, and forming teams.

How did you come to work with Navyug?

When we started looking for development partners, we reached out to friends for suggestions. We were a startup ourselves, and this was a new product, so we looked for a company with experience with these types of projects. We received a few references for Navyug and looked at their portfolio. They had experience in working with startups, as well as competency with the technologies we were looking to use. These factors were the basis of our decision.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Navyug in January of 2015. The product is on the market and has active users. Our collaboration is ongoing for the foreseeable future. As we continue to develop the platform, more and more data will be coming in, and we will continue to expand the available activities.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Since launching the app, we have maintained an active project based on the analytics gathered. It’s an evolving product with no end-point. We will continue to add monetization channels, as well as more general features. The product is able to support our business, and the user feedback is generally good.

How did Navyug perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve had no problems in terms of responsiveness and communication. We have a collaborative project management process and, most importantly, daily standup reviews. From this perspective, the collaboration was excellent. Project management was a shared responsibility in terms of setting and managing timelines.

We used Google Spreadsheets for tracking tasks. Navyug also uses various tools internally for tracking which functionalities have been completed.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug?

I want to highlight Navyug’s willingness to find technical solutions for difficult problems. They effectively handle challenges like the ability to edit a video online. From a user perspective, that may not seem like much, but it can be technically challenging.

Are there any areas Navyug could improve?

They have processes in place for team and client communication, but they could be more outgoing in terms of sharing their views on certain features and other matters.

I am an entrepreneur running Intello Transport. We are a technology company working on rating the driving behavior of people. Our current focus is on the B2B fleet operators segment, to which we offer driver diagnostics and behavior related solutions. Along with my partners, I founded the company in early 2015. We have around 12 full-time employees, and a network of 7–8 people who are working with us on a commission basis.

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug Infosolutions?

We needed to develop the entire technology platform. Our system has three distinct components: data acquisition, transformation, and visualization. We needed a partner who could build this system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have a complex solution which targets a new market segment in India, so it’s been a challenge to develop it. In my opinion, Navyug has had a significant participation in its creation.

I have conceptualized the entire solution, including the product itself, its positioning in the business ecosystem, and the technology roadmap. Navyug Infosolutions’ team worked closely with me over a period of 1½–2 years on developing it.

The data acquisition component allows us to see how people are driving, using an Internet of Things hardware solution. Once the data has been acquired by the sensor, it is transmitted to the servers in an efficient manner. After it has been processed properly, we display it through an analytics engine and visualization platform for our enterprise clients.

How did you come to work with Navyug Infosolutions?

I had been looking for technology contractors for the full development of the software part and did not want to build an in-house team. I evaluated 3 or 4 different vendors including Navyug, which I’d known in the past. I looked at the teams’ capabilities and the long-term commitment which the companies could provide to us.

In this context, I found Navyug to be the better choice in terms of resources and pricing. Beyond the price itself, how it would be structured was also a consideration. In many of these aspects, I found them to be extremely flexible and cost-competitive compared to the other vendors I evaluated.

The cost of their work has been around $140,000–$150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Navyug in October 2015, and have continued the relationship. After the product was brought to maturity, Navyug’s team was reduced, but we are still working together.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have any metrics off the top of my mind given that their team has been engaged with me directly and I have been steering them. It is more a question of their comprehension and adherence to my ideas and vision. In this respect, I am content with the quality of service provided by Navyug.

How did Navyug Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We have been satisfied with the kinds of resources allocated to us. From a project management perspective, the job has been done well. We initially negotiated for a team without a full-time manager. One of the 4 initial developers was asked to become project lead, but his role was also to contribute in the technology development process. He became deeply involved the product development part and was always aware of what was going on.

I like to work in close coordination with the team, having 2–3 interactions with each member on a daily basis. The team has found this approach to be quite good, and we have saved time on several activities. Because of the nature of the engagement and the style of work which we adopted initially, the process has worked well.

We depend less on emails and more on video conference. We are located in different cities, so Google Hangouts has become the preferred way of communication. I had calls with each member a couple of times per day or more, especially in the earlier parts of the project.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug Infosolutions?

The balance between cost and delivery was an important aspect for me. We had to ensure that we did not overshoot the budget significantly, given that many things are fluid when it comes to IT startups. Whatever is estimated as the project budget, in the beginning, will always go haywire. In our case, Navyug has met our expectations to a great extent.

Whenever there were peaks in our workload, Navyug was able to supply quality resources in a short amount of time; when the work subsided, a part of the team was offloaded. Navyug has been reasonably flexible with us in terms of meeting our workload requirements.

Are there any areas Navyug Infosolutions could improve?

There is always room to improve. In hindsight, when I analyzed our errors and reworks, I found that many of them could have been avoided. Still, when things were moving, we tried our best to keep bugs minimized and ensured that the team was on the same page in terms of expectations.

Surgivisor provides a bridge between patients and hospitals, helping users find the right facilities and doctors for their surgeries. We have around 20 employees, but most of our work, including IT, is outsourced. I am the marketing head of the company. I am in charge of website development and online marketing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug Infosolutions?

We needed to design a user-friendly website which offered ample information in an aesthetically-pleasing way. We wanted to give users the ability to apply filters, do searches, and find what they required.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Navyug designed and built the initial version of our Ruby on Rails website and mobile app from scratch. The site can provide hospital and doctor details, and it uses certain algorithms for categorizing 2,000+ surgery types. Each hospital has an associated list of services, and they can also be selected according to budget. Navyug implemented the algorithms architected by myself, handling both the backend and frontend of our web and mobile platform. Our app is available on iOS and Android.

How did you come to work with Navyug Infosolutions?

We found Navyug through a reference, but we also searched online for development companies. We looked at Navyug's portfolio and contacted them. The cost was a secondary consideration for us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Navyug in January 2016 and have an ongoing collaboration. The development time was close to six months. We are continuing to improve the website on a daily basis, based on user experience. No one could understand our website better than Navyug. I wouldn't trust anyone else to make changes or even project management. Navyug's manager knows our website in-and-out regarding algorithms and technology.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We are very happy with the website, apart from a couple of glitches, which are a normal occurrence with any new site. We've only had to make small changes to the result. I would rate Navyug's work a 9 out of 10 since any website in the world could be improved. Our specific requirements were taken care of, and I have no complaints as of now.

The site has between 300 and 400 visits per day in the Delhi area, and we're looking to promote it throughout India. We're in the process of marketing it, and it operates in a niche field. It's not something that a person would look up daily, but we want the people looking to have surgeries, to come to our site.

What challenge were you trying to address with Navyug Infosolutions?

We wanted to develop an iOS application for our auctions segment. Users can participate in auctions through the application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Based on the Android version, Navyug Infosolutions built our iOS app from scratch. I acted as the product manager during the work, taking part in conceptualization and gathering requirements. I handed this information to Navyug Infosolutions' team. They took care of the design, frontend development, and beta testing. Backend development was done internally. We initially used two developers and one or two designers from Navyug Infosolutions' team.

How did you come to work with Navyug Infosolutions?

One of our colleagues had worked with Navyug Infosolutions in the past and referred them to us. We had a conversation about the project and worked out a timetable. Navyug Infosolutions offered to develop our app in less time than we'd anticipated and for the same price, so we chose them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Navyug Infosolutions in January 2016. The development part took around four months, but Navyug Infosolutions provided additional troubleshooting services. The application was delivered in July.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our application was meant for a limited number of users, mainly internal ones. They have used and liked the product, but we didn't track any metrics for it.

I appreciated Navyug Infosolutions' design team. They were understanding of what I wanted to do as well as what our users wanted. Navyug Infosolutions designed our app accordingly, and I liked the results.

How did Navyug Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

I am not aware of everyone who was involved in the work, but we were given a strict timeline and used as many resources as needed for getting the project done. Resource allocation was not a problem since Navyug Infosolutions assigned more people whenever there was a chance that we would not meet the deadline. We communicated through Gmail, Google Docs, and phone.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug Infosolutions?

This was my first project with an external vendor since I usually work with internal tech teams. I found Navyug Infosolutions to be very flexible. We were not sure of everything we wanted in terms of requirements, but Navyug Infosolutions made some suggestions and incorporated elements we missed. They were helpful and understanding.

They could improve their quality assurance. I felt that there was something missing in that area, but the designing and development parts were good.

We designed the solution, and they wrote the code for the back-end to implement the solution. We assigned tasks to them, and they would deliver it. We would test it, and then they would implement the code.

We were searching for software developers in India that understood networking, VPN, encryption, and security. There weren’t too many companies that did that. Nayvug was already in the space and were already working with other clients in the same way, so we thought they were a good fit.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

I’ve been satisfied with everything they’ve done. They are always up to the challenge of providing solutions for us, and they delivered successfully. We were able to solve all of the challenges we had. We didn’t have any times where they delivered bad code that crashed the system.

How did Navyug perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a part-time PM on their side, but I manage most of the resources. We work very closely, and we haven’t had any issues. We communicate daily using WebEx. They would let me know if there weren’t enough resources for my project and when they would be available.

What did you find most impressive about Navyug?

They have a level of professionalism and a commitment to deliver. I’ve worked with other firms that have told me they could deliver but weren’t able to. Navyug was very transparent in what they could and couldn’t do, which is why I continued to use them.

Are there any areas Navyug could improve?

I would like them to work on my time. Also, they could be a little more proactive in working with us.
