We engaged MotionGility to create an explainer video for our product AtomicAds.AI, with the objective of clearly articulating our concept, target audience, and key messages in a concise, engaging format. The final video was developed as a motion graphics explainer, tailored for use across social media and product marketing campaigns.
The scope of work included script development, storyboarding, motion graphics design, voice-over, animation, and final delivery of a high-quality video. The video showcases our ecommerce platform – how to use , features and categories. It also showcases the problem of our target audience in UAE. After shortlisting MotionGility, we were introduced to their Project Management team. With a step by step process – Script, Storyboard, Illustrations and Animation we were involved in each step to provide the feedbacks. They were so patient and creative in terms of adapting to changes and making the video of the best quality.

We wanted a 1-minute Video to be shown during an event multiple times. We had a draft script. The style of Video was more aligned to an Explainer / Product Intro specific to SAAS products.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had a very strict deadline - just 3 days from idea to production. The reason for such a deadline was to submit the video to the event organizer. I communicated with the Motiongility team about the deadline, and what would be the maximum deadline we may get (after communicating with the event organizer). 

I received initial outputs within 3 days, meanwhile the event organizer gave us 2 more days for submission, during which we were able to get couple of revisions to get our Video talk about what we actually intended.

Yes, They assigned a dedicated PM, as well as the CEO was in the loop during the whole process. There was couple of miscommunication due to the short deadline, but their CEO took care of it by understanding and transferring the idea from us to their team.

Their timely delivery and high quality were impressive.

Anything to be done differently would need more time - which we didn't have. We could have invested bit more time in the Storyboarding process to try and out different ideas and to check if it delivered the message we wanted to. But again it's on us that we didn't have much time there.

The process involved development of storyboard, illustration, animation and lastly voice over with each step involving our feedback and subsequent revisions.

Quality of video produced was impressive and very professional. We expect an easier and quicker understanding of the solution by the prospective clients using this video.

The team provided us a clear idea of when we can expect to see the next draft and would soon incorporate our feedback upon receipt to produce the updated video draft. We did extensive research on Google and YouTube on steps to take to explain a complex concept in a simple manner and found that explainer videos were the way to go!

MotionGility really laid out the process -- from capturing ideas, storyboarding, prototyping and delivering. It was easy, quick and seamless. They really listened to what we want we wanted and added their own creative process to the mix. The process was detailed, intricate and easy. We got a preview of what we will get and got exactly what the storyboard said with our feedback incorporated.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

MotionGility were excellent in listening to us. They provided their creative input and at every step listened to us and took our feedback. Within a few short days, they provided a revised preview of the deliverable.

MotionGility had a dedicated PM on the project and their CEO was also involved in every call and every conversation, which we really appreciated. It showed that even when working with a very early stage start up, they were deeply involved and showed great work ethic and customer dedication!!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In a short time, we had a fantastic explainer video that captured our essence and goals. Additionally, every gif, banner image and animation were of the highest quality and very much to our liking. The project success in our mind is defined by how happy we were, and in the end we were very happy as we felt that the deliverables captured what we wanted

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective! They had a dedicated PM, used online tools such as DropBox to preview deliverables and had frequent and constant communications. We also found that on day 1, they really went into the process in depth and left no confusion in our minds. This was really effective!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Very humble people to work with. Greatly skilled. Easy to talk to and they loved to listen. In addition, I really appreciated that their CEO was on every call and was genuinely interested in our success.

None that I can honestly think of. The process, the people and the work products were excellent, and we were very happy with the results and we got exactly what we were told we would get.

I cannot share metrics at this time but the quality of the video is very apparent and the feedback has been amazing. Everyone that has had the chance to video the video so far has really been blown away.
