Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
We engaged MoreYeahs as an offshore development partner to extend our delivery capacity on enterprise CRM and analytics work. They provide dedicated developers who work inside our client environments against our written specifications, with our retaining architecture, QA, and client ownership. The engagement runs on a monthly timesheet and approval cycle, which has made capacity easy to scale up or down by workstream. The work has covered two main tracks. Microsoft Dynamics 365 development: a custom queue entity built to spec from a BRD, a quote follow-up automation system including a conditional ribbon action that appears only on active quotes, a "last followed up" date field with flow-based stamping, and threshold-driven digest email logic for inside sales reps and regional managers. They also remediated a closed lost and expired status automation that had drifted in production, rebuilt merged HTML quote templates across a 34-product catalog with 68 verified merge tokens, corrected freight terms across those templates on a same-day turnaround, and handled ongoing production bug triage. Power BI and analytics: an opportunity pipeline report including Power Query logic to exclude test records, commercial and residential slicers, and regional sales manager ID mapping. They are currently building a six-page client-facing SEO and generative-search dashboard sourced from GA4, Google Search Console via OAuth, the SEMrush API for position tracking, and a Google Sheets layer for manual reference data. Their team develops the PBIX in Power BI Desktop and we publish into the client tenant, which keeps credentials and licensing under our control.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The clearest measure is that their work ships and stays shipped. The quote follow-up system they built went live in our client's production Dynamics environment in July 2026 and has been running weekly digest emails to inside sales reps and regional sales managers since, with threshold logic routing the right quotes to the right role. That replaced manual follow-up tracking that previously had no system of record at all. Turnaround times have been strong for a team working a full time zone offset. A production issue where expired quotes were not closing correctly was diagnosed and fixed in production within two business days of the client reporting it. A freight terms correction across our client's quote templates was requested late one afternoon and confirmed complete by the client the next morning. On template work specifically, they delivered merged quote templates across a 34-product catalog with all 68 merge tokens verified and no duplicates, which meant zero rework on a deliverable that goes directly to customers. On the reporting side, data quality fixes they implemented, including excluding test opportunities and mapping regional sales manager IDs, made a pipeline report trustworthy enough to put in front of client leadership. On the current SEO dashboard build they worked through Google Search Console OAuth setup and SEMrush API authentication, both of which are now functioning. Commercially, the timesheet and approval cycle has been accurate every month, with no billing disputes across the engagement. That predictability is part of why we keep scaling capacity with them.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management is structured on their side and collaborative on ours. We work through a named account manager plus the developers directly, with a monthly timesheet and approval cycle that has been accurate every time. Day to day we run on Slack and email, with recurring working sessions when a build needs alignment. Because they are a full time zone ahead of us, most requests we send in the afternoon come back with progress by the next morning, which effectively gives us a second shift. On timeliness, the defined, well-specified work has consistently landed on schedule. Production fixes and template changes have turned around in one to two business days, including a freight terms correction the client needed urgently that was done overnight. The one place we have seen slippage is on a newer analytics build with several third-party dependencies, where API access, OAuth credentials, and client-side data configuration all had to line up. Some of that was on our side and the client's, not theirs, but it did teach us that this work moves fastest when we hand over numbered, unambiguous requirements rather than narrative descriptions. Once we tightened our specs, throughput improved noticeably. On responsiveness, they flag blockers proactively rather than going quiet, which we value. Their developer surfaced an access problem and API unit constraints before they became schedule risks. There have been a few occasions where we needed to nudge for a faster reply on a same-day question, but when we ask them to jump on a call or a huddle to unblock something, they show up.
What was your primary form of communication with MoreYeahs IT Technologies Pvt. Ltd.?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Two things stand out. The first is range. Most offshore partners we have evaluated are strong in one lane. MoreYeahs has handled custom Dynamics 365 entity development, Power Automate flow logic, HTML email template work with complex merge token structures, Power Query and DAX, and third-party API integration against SEMrush and Google Search Console. That breadth means we can staff a single partner across a client engagement instead of coordinating three vendors, and it lets us take on scope we would otherwise have to decline or delay. The second is that they operate as an extension of our team rather than a black box. They work inside our delivery model, which includes an arrangement where they develop the PBIX in Power BI Desktop and we publish into the client tenant. That means we never hand over client credentials or tenant licenses, and we can remove build access at go-live without breaking anything. Not every development partner is comfortable working under that kind of constraint. They accepted it without friction and built to it. I would also call out how they handle disagreement. Early on their team proposed a staged data layer architecture for one build. We decided it was over-engineered for version one and pushed back. They took the decision, adjusted the approach, and documented the tradeoff for us to revisit later. A partner who advocates for a better architecture but defers cleanly when the client makes the call is genuinely rare.
Are there any areas for improvement or something MoreYeahs IT Technologies Pvt. Ltd. could have done differently?
The main one is communication cadence on open questions. When a developer hits a blocker, we would rather hear about it the same day, in the channel we are already working in, than discover it on the next sync. There have been a handful of times we had to follow up by email asking someone to respond in Slack, and each of those cost us a day we did not need to lose. A short daily status note, even two lines saying what moved and what is blocked, would remove most of that friction. The second is proactive status on longer builds. On short, well-defined tasks their turnaround is excellent. On multi-week builds with external dependencies, we found ourselves asking for progress updates rather than receiving them. Some of that is a reasonable expectation to set on our side, but a partner who volunteers a weekly written status would make the relationship easier to manage. The last is more of a mutual lesson than a criticism. Requirements written as narrative prose do not translate as cleanly across a language and time zone gap as requirements written as numbered, plainly worded statements. We changed how we write specs partway through and quality went up immediately. If they coached new clients on that upfront, they would get better inputs from day one and both sides would save rework. None of these are dealbreakers. They are the kind of process refinements you work through with any partner you intend to keep, and we do intend to keep working with them.
