We mostly communicate via email and phone calls and use Calendy to set up meetings. They’re usually available the next day, if not the same one.

They show great availability to update and make any changes I request.

This partnership began in November 2021. The project is ongoing, although it is wrapping up now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

There isn’t anything to quantify their success so far, but the website does help me get the word out about my business. We can link to the website on our social media and send potential investors to the site as well. 

How did Moladev perform from a project management standpoint?

I haven’t had any issues with their project management. On one occasion, there was a slight delay, but Moladev kept me updated about progress, which was very helpful. They were always more than happy to communicate project updates with me. Moladev was prompt about addressing my problems. 

We primarily communicated through emails. If there were any immediate problems, I could get on the phone with them or reach out through WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I appreciated the most about Moladev was that they were an affordable but helpful tool to help me better understand what I needed from a website. I was learning as we went through the process, and they were very flexible to my changing needs. If I needed to change something myself, Moladev was happy to show me how to do it efficiently. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their team should keep clients updated throughout the website testing process when trying to identify site errors. Having a timescale of their weekly work to ensure their team stays on track would also be helpful. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise customers to lean on Moladev as much as possible — their expertise is useful. Ask them any questions because they’re always happy to answer them.

We are a small independent Spanish Tapas Restaurant based in Edinburgh. We specialize in using high quality ingredients, from all across Spain, mixed with seasonal Scottish Produce to create individual and unique Tapas Dishes.

Our Website was old, outdated, and was not representing us and portraying us in the way we want to be seen. We were looking for someone to create a new website, from scratch, utilizing some of our own ideas, but also bringing their own experience and understanding to the table to create a new website, befitting of our brand.

Zai and his team really impressed right from the offset, offering a friendly yet knowledgeable proposal. He seemed to really understand our company and what we were looking for, and was sympathetic to the lack of experience on our side and a general lack of vision!

From our initial meeting to discuss the brief, we wanted a new wordpress site, which would be fully customizeable by ourselves to keep updated as we go. We gave some initial concepts and designs which we liked and left it in Moladev's hands to come up with something unique that ticked all our boxes. The first draft was not quite what we were looking for, but when it came to the redraft the second site we were sent was perfect, and with just a couple of additional personal preferences to amend.

We initially spoke with Zai, who took down all our notes and concepts and then our second point of contact was Auss.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are delighted with the new site, initial feedback from our customers has been great - it's much easier to navigate and we are able to display all of the information we need. It's no coincidence that since our website launched earlier this year we've experienced the busiest period of trade in our history.

They constantly updated us on the progress, and even when we were slow to respond, we were not forgotten about or made to wait any longer than necessary. They were always quick to respond and the quality of work was excellent.

The initial understanding of our concept shows a great insight into our industry and what we required.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were more than happy with all aspects of the experience.

We started working together in June 2021. The website is complete, but Moladev still runs the backend for me to this day.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My main goal with this engagement was to have a website for my business, so I haven’t really looked into how many viewers or visitors the site gets. Moladev was able to achieve that goal for me, and at a really quick turnaround time at that. They were able to finalize the website by the second week of our engagement. 

How did Moladev perform from a project management standpoint?

I don’t have any complaints. Their project management was good. I made it clear what I wanted them to deliver, and they took on those requirements well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Moladev’s strongest point is the simplicity of their process. It was really easy and straightforward to have a conversation with them, especially when I explained my business and what I was trying to achieve.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. It was a very simple and straightforward project, and it would’ve been impossible for them to get anything wrong.

Be clear, focused, and transparent on what you’re asking for, especially during your initial conversations. Even if you want a more complicated website with certain facilities and unique features, as long as you explain it well to the team, they’ll be able to accommodate it.

We had a website, but we needed a more modern site to fit our new customer journey, and we hired Moladev to develop it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Moladev developed our website from scratch using WordPress. First, they came up with a scope of work and a plan for the website’s structure. They talked us through that draft proposal to make sure we were happy and comfortable with how they structured the layout. 

Then, we worked on the content side of things. Moladev helped us write the content, made recommendations for some of the pages we introduced that weren’t on the existing website, and looked up information for us. 

The purpose of the site is to express our key selling points. Moladev broke down the key areas of our business, such as the ladies-only gym, the classes, and personal training services, and they placed them on the site. They focused on making the layout simple and easy navigation. 

Moladev delivered the website with the new content, and we went through a final review to make sure we were happy. We requested some changes, and they made modifications last minute. Finally, we launched the site, which is now live.

Currently, they’re helping us with SEO and social media optimization (SMO). Moladev also offers post-launch support for our website.

We initially placed an ad out through PeoplePerHour, and they put a proposal together for us. When I put the proposal out to our team, it turned out one of our teammates had done some work with Moladev before, and he referred them. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Moladev is really good at listening to us and what we’re trying to achieve. Initially, they asked us a lot of questions to understand the challenges before putting together a proposal, which was really refreshing. That process helped at the stage where they put the structure and the content together. They took the content of the new pages upon themselves, too. As a result, the transition to the new website was very smooth. 

Overall, Moladev’s working process is seamless. We had no issues during development, and they’re always very punctual. The team is also very accommodating with any changes we want.

We required a new CRM System building, as our old one was built on Java and therefore no longer supported. The CRM system runs our business so it was critical to have it rebuilt on a new platform and give it a new look and feel, whilst maintaining the bespoke functionality.

I advertised for a developer/development company and Moladev applied. Zai understood what I required, and was based in the UK, therefore allowing me to discuss how it all worked and what was required.

We initially hired Moladev to develop and design our website, but we later took them on for our SEO and copywriting needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

After our initial consultation, I provided Moladev with the content, graphics, and brand guidelines that they would need to design our website. Their team forwarded us the first version of the WordPress design through Figma, for which I provided my feedback. Once we finalized the design. Moladev showed me and gave me access to the backend where I could update the photos and content myself. 

The website is still on its way to being completed, but Moladev has started doing SEO and copywriting for us. I’m not massively familiar with both processes, but I’ve discussed with them what search terms our demographic would potentially use and they expanded from there.

They have a team of designers and developers, but my only point of contact is Zai (CEO & Creative Director). All communications and feedback go through him, and he delegates the tasks to other members of Moladev. 

How did you come to work with Moladev?

I was going through various sites and having conversations with lots of people when Zai popped up and expressed his interest to get involved with the CBD industry. After our initial talks, it was pretty obvious to me that they were the right people for the job. They were transparent and great at communicating, whereas other providers simply took too long and didn’t provide a clear description of what they’d be able to do for us. 

I also liked that Moladev had competitive pricing as well as an impressive portfolio. Those factors ultimately made me choose them.

I’ve invested between $1,000–$5,000 so far.

We started working together in October 2021. Majority of the project has been completed, but we still have some things to finalize.

It has been a very straightforward process with very few complications. Though the website hasn’t gone live yet, Moladev has provided excellent-quality services. Their communications are as good as it was the first time I met with them, and I can’t really fault them for anything.

They’ve met my expectations in terms of project management. Everything is smooth-sailing, and communication is very streamlined because I only need to go through one person. We usually communicate through Zoom, email, and phone calls.

The key points were, can we add news and information to the site ourselves, and can we sell products over the site. These two measurables have been met successfully.

Communication was on point - they knew everything we tried to create and were able to improve upon it. The most pleasing thing about this group was that nothing was ever an issue. They went above and beyond in order to get things right. If the task was slightly off, they would go away and get it bang on the next time. The project was delivered on time.

I enjoyed working with Zai and his team on the creative side. I loved seeing what was possible and coming up with new ideas.
