They also assisted us with enabling functionality off-line, auto-syncing when online and multi-language support to serve our global audience. The core responsibility of the firm was the development and launch of an MVP, beta testing iterations, as well as post-launch technical assistance.

Their job was to deploy blockchain features, add usability and secure the real-time access of digital assets. The company assisted the work by delivering the app core functionalities and later with beta testing support, as well as ongoing updating based on ongoing feedback from users.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Even though the project is not yet complete, we've been through a few testing cycles and soft launches. A small number of users was given the opportunity to test it out and we had great feedback from every single one of them — many liked the really intuitive interface and being able to manage assets with their mobile devices.

The feedback we received was very insightful and it is evident that if the product were more User friendly, it does have some potential for adoption with end-users from the blockchain & DeFi field. This is important to us at BAIK Ventures as it fits into our vision of Disney-fying the blockchains and onboarding more users to public, decentralized technologies.

All in all the project management was super efficient. Mobulous kept things on track smoothly and this was a straight forward communication through Skype which helped the work get done right! Their communication was another aspect that caught our attention — whereas other teams may analyzse more before implementing a feature, Mobulous came up with results quickly.

We used the project manager on their side for communications as he became a communication bridge between our ideas and developers executing them. It had its downsides but worked for us.

What really stood out with Mobulous was their ability to get the job done without delay. Their team was professional and despite the cultural differences in how we work, they adapted to our way of working quickly. The open communication made it easy to align our goals and build trust. They knew what was needed to make our blockchain app work and that was no small feat given our project complexity.

One area for improvement would be their involvement in the feature clarification process. Given blockchain and decentralized apps are complex, a bit more back and forth on feature details would have been good to ensure both parties were on the same page. This would have avoided any misinterpretations and given a better end product. That being said we are confident they can address this and we would definitely consider working with them again in the future.

The project was successfully completed, with a fully-featured app built along with the backend support for our purposes, all made available in an easy to use dashboard.

We had lots of moments where what we thought the app would be was replaced with a pivot or an additional function throughout the development. We experiment some changes in requirements and Mobulous was very flexible with these all, as soon we change any phase of work from platform end they respond promptly. It is their responsiveness and quickness to implement changes that really set us on pace.

We used basecamp for project management and it really helped on keeping everything organized, both sides. All of our day-to-day communication was done on WhatsApp, as well using video calls where required to solve any issues or adjustments. Mobulous worked with a phased development approach. The first stage was to create detailed mockups and wireframes so we could get a feel for the app’s layout and flow. We iterated on these designs together based on feedback to make sure the final UI was pretty and usable.

Once approved, they moved into development where they built the frontend for user profiles, sign ups and matching, and the backend to handle complex data and matching algorithms. One of the cool things was they built an algorithm that matched users based on travel interests and regions, not just proximity. Interest based travel matching, secure messaging and personalized match pages were all integrated.

Mobulous was very accommodating when we asked for changes mid development. They added in location based matching and tweaks to the chat system and implemented secure payment processing. Despite the changes they kept the project on track. After the integrations they did a thorough beta test and we went live on the App Store. Technology stack was Github and Firebase SDK, iOS first with plans to expand to other platforms.

We went live and it matched our design and functionality. We saw sign ups grow steadily even with minimal marketing. • Planning: We determined the app's objectives, target audience, and important features & functionality. A complete project plan was created, including milestones and deadlines to keep the project on schedule. We generated wireframes and mock-ups for the UI, focusing on a user-friendly and visually appealing design. Feedback from potential users was gathered and used to improve the designs, ensuring that the app fits their requirements and expectations.
• Development: Developers constructed both the app's front-end and back-end functionality, guaranteeing a seamless and responsive user interface. Key features such as user authentication, profile management, and secure messaging systems have been included. This involved integrating with third-party APIs, databases, and other systems as needed, as well as doing regular code reviews, debugging, and testing to verify the app's functionality, performance, and security.
• Testing: Our QA team conducted unit, integration, and system testing to detect and address any defects or performance concerns. User acceptability tests were conducted to ensure the app meets quality standards and fulfills user requirements. This rigorous testing process ensured that the app is reliable and ready for launch.
• Deploying: We prepped the dating app for release in major app stores including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
