**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a Product Owner at AMCONSOFT.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Mobindustry Corp., and what were your goals?

We worked on a Calendar application with Mobindustry. Mobindustry handled the client-side of the app, while my team worked on the server-side. The Mobindustry team synced with my team and delivered everything on time and on budget. Our main goal was: - to create an application in the shortest possible time;

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have previous joint experience that has been successful. Also, the deciding factors were: - the great portfolio of mobile apps; - experience in cross-platform development with Flutter;

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Rough and detailed estimation.
	Development of scalable architecture.
Development of a cross-platform mobile app using Flutter.
	Integration with our backend.
	QA and project management service.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Project manager
	Flutter Development Team Lead
	Three Flutter developers
	Two QA specialists

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**

Since this is an MVP, the KPIs are in the process of improvement. If we are talking about the technical part, which depended on Mobindustry, then the application works stably, quickly, without bugs and crashes

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We used Slack to communicate. Microsoft Project for development pipeline. Jira for detailed task description and tracking. The Mobindustry team followed a strict technical task meticulously, and when they encountered any inconsistencies in a technical task, they met us halfway through and solved issues without any additional costs.
I was impressed with the communication culture at Mobindustry. Project managers control the whole development process and inform about any issues before they become problems. Their transparency and timeliness in communication allowed us to have an organized development process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Rough and final estimates were both very precise.
The recommended architecture is flexible and allows for further development and easy maintenance.
	Transparent communication.

Founder & CEO, Contracts Rx
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Apr 20, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: In terms of efficiency, Morbindustry has been performing productively and responsively. The client attributes most of their success to the team delivering such a high-quality and market-ready product. Their approach to project management has made their partnership easier and more streamlined.
""They're able to stop conflicts from happening on an architectural level."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and CEO of Contracts Rx and it’s a fast solution that makes contracting easier for small to medium-sized businesses. We create repeatable, easy-to-create, click-to-accept, and easy-to-find contracts on behalf of our clients. We also create contract review processes to allow our clients to review their contracts consistently, quickly, and without high legal expenses.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobindustry Corp.?

We needed Mobindustry to build the application for our solution.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Mobindustry is helping us build a web application for our solution. When I first approached them, all I had was a prototype spreadsheet that does risk scoring for contracts. They were able to convert that spreadsheet into a pretty robust, albeit, simple tool to create contracts. That was the initial idea, then we went on to continue to build out different parts of the app, and turn it into a robust contracting system.

They wrote the app in dynamic HTML so it renders well on mobile. As a result, we ended up not needing an app.

Additionally, they provided us with both back- and frontend business architecture. We spent two months putting together the general scoping of the solution from a high-level business requirement perspective. They were just interviewing me over a few weeks and it would’ve been shorter if I had more time. However, it turned out to be so fundamentally important for the later stages of the development — we were able to see problems before they become big problems.

Mobindustry also designed a frontend that was appealing and simple to use. Contracts can be kind of boring, but they created a nice interface based on our ideas that made the system come alive. They also integrated third-party tools into our backend including, Intercom and Salesforce. The Salesforce integration was challenging for how unique our solution is. Lastly, they managed to integrate one of our clients’ home-grown quoting tools. All in all, they’ve provided us with full development services.

Apart from that, we also have Stripe integration, which is associated with its own marketplace, and we’re generating revenue on it that actually pays for the development.

Moby is still working on my personal project for my company and they have been excellent.

What is the team composition?

The project’s been going on for about two and a half years now, but that’s because I keep asking them to do more. There have also been some changes with the people who’re assigned to this project. The people that we started out with have moved on, as well as the second batch that were already replacements from the first batch.

The backend developers have stayed with us, but now we’re in another set of new project managers and business architects. While I’m uncomfortable with having to change my project manager, I haven’t found a slowdown in our production and their transition has been phenomenal. They are able to maintain their high standards through this and It surprised me.

How did you come to work with Mobindustry Corp.?

I was working on another project for another client four years ago. Right around 2018, I was looking for a developer to replace a developer for a different client and project. I went on Clutch to look for some folks and found three organizations who I interviewed. I ended up not going with Mobindustry on that project, but I was really impressed after speaking with them and thought they were really good.

As a consolation to not getting that project, I decided to go with Mobindustry for my personal project. The funny thing that ended up happening to that other project was it completely imploded after a year. The development team I initially hired for it didn’t anticipate problems and it turned out to be a big mess.

I would have very limited ability to find developers around the world, unless I have folks who had done it before. My ability to find Mobindustry through Clutch was pivotal for what we’re doing now — it’s a pretty big deal.

How much have you invested with them?

To date, we’ve probably spent around $250,000–$300,000. I don’t want people to get freaked out by that, because they’ve been producing a higher value than what we’re paying. The security in development is off the charts compared to what I saw happening with the other developers.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2018, and it’s still ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our metrics are pretty broad. There are even metrics in the efficiencies in their coding, which I measure in terms of how quickly we’re releasing things. I also measure how they’re burning through the long list of backlog items that we create for them — and Morbindustry has been highly productive and responsive. Even when it’s downtime, I would still get responses at odd hours if need be.

In terms of efficacy, as of April 2020, we now have 20 clients that are actively using the platform, as opposed to having no platform and zero clients back in February 2020. I wouldn’t necessarily attribute the high efficacy to the sales folks, but it’s also the fact that the product is ready for the market — and Mobindustry is a key piece of that.

While I’m not nearly at the level of coding or programming they’re in, I actually look at the code and see the reusability of it for my own edification. I found that what they do is really the right value. One thing that impresses me about them is that they always give me choices.

A typical experience that I have with them is whenever there’s a problem, they give me three solutions and before I get to the decision, they’ve already started working on it to not waste time — they’ve always picked the path that I think would be the right path.

That methodology has served us time and time again, and has really made offshore management way easier than one would normally think it would be. Mobindustry is just really bright and hardworking.

How did Mobindustry Corp. perform from a project management standpoint?

They use JIRA and Atlassian, which we have access to, and we use GitHub for the repository AQS tools. We also utilize ourselves for communication, and have been successful at using Skype for our back and forths.

Those are the general tools that we use. We’ve been able to get pretty far with what we’ve got and to that extent, we need Google Sheets to share backlog tracking.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They helped build the business architecture and they were just phenomenal at that — their process was crazy. They're just so in tune with what we're talking about, that they're able to stop conflicts from happening on an architectural level.

One of the biggest things about Mobindustry is there hasn’t been rework. We haven’t thrown something away and done something else over — we haven’t had waste and that’s highly unusual. There may be waste that I don’t know about, but it’s never come to me. There hasn’t been a direction that we took and had to reverse on, everything has just been well done.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s less of an issue with me, but they will have a language challenge if they’re working with someone who doesn’t have a little bit of a language background. It’s important to make sure that there’s clear communication. Of course, they’re speaking English as a second language, and their project managers are usually rock-solid with the English language.

However, they’ll need to be cautious to make sure that they’re going through things clearly. Not that Mobindustry would make a mistake, but that it usually takes time to make sure that ideas get across.

It’s less of an improvement, just more of an awareness that stronger language skills to the customer interface piece would be helpful.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

One piece of advice I could give to someone who wants to work with Mobindustry is to have weekly scrum calls. I have found this to be really successful because these folks really know what they’re doing and they will move forward. The more input you give them on what they’re doing, the better, but you don’t have to be prescriptive at all.

I have also found that their suggestions are often better than the original idea, so don’t get too wedded to your own ideas, because they can come up with some really good ones.

""We quickly formed a good relationship and found Mobindustry to have a reasonable cost base and a good skillset."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We provide an online service which enables people to capture the story of their lives. The company is based in London, and I am its only employee. We also have a co-founder and one designer working as contractors.

The inspiration for the service came when I lost my father and didn't have any memories of him from my childhood. I created the platform in order to keep my own history, so that when I grow old, my own children will know what I was like when I was younger, and keep school reports, holidays, and other materials together, in one place.

I am the CEO [Chief Executive Officer] of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobindustry?

We were using a UK-based developer initially. With not very much money, we had to undertake a big development project featuring a website and an iOS app.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Mobindustry developed our website and iOS app using around 6 frontend and backend developers, as well as a project manager who interfaced with us on a daily basis. The language barrier is always a concern for offshore companies, but Mobindustry's project manager was very well-spoken and was able to relay our requirements to the development team.

Mobindustry worked closely with us throughout the process. With the UK developers, we had conversations, worked on wireframes, and had them come back to us with the work. We would then request some changes, and encounter resistance, given that we were paying a fixed price for the work. Mobindustry had a much more interactive, testing and validating process, which meant that we didn't have to spend too long on creating something which wasn't working.

How did you come to work with Mobindustry?

We hadn't used offshoring as an opportunity before, so we looked at other agencies in the UK. My co-founder, who had used offshore companies while working in Silicon Valley, recommended Mobindustry and said that we should give them a go. We spoke to a total of 2-3 companies in the Ukraine and were most impressed with Mobindustry. Their CEO is quite approachable, has good English skills, and understood our problems. We quickly formed a good relationship and found Mobindustry to have a reasonable cost base and a good skillset.

How much have you invested with Mobindustry?

We've spent above $50,000 so far on Mobindustry's services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Mobindustry at the beginning of 2015. Since we began our collaboration, Mobindustry has rationalized its business model. We came to using only around 2 developers and ultimately ended the relationship 2 weeks ago. It was a surprise to find this out, but I'm still quite happy to provide a reference for Mobindustry. What they did was great, and is not hinged upon whether or not we still have a relationship.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I don't have any metrics for the platform, but we didn't encounter a large number of bugs. We had an iterative process, thinking about our designs and engaging Mobindustry on an almost daily basis. There was never a period of waiting 3 weeks, making some tests, and logging defects.

How did Mobindustry perform from a project management standpoint?

We spoke with our project manager on most days, getting regular updates on the status of the work. Over the duration of working with Mobindustry, I've only had to chase things down once or twice at most. Mobindustry was always a step ahead, knowing that we'd need updates for particular features.

What did you find most impressive about Mobindustry?

Our previous relationship was with a UK developer, who outsourced the work as well, providing an extra barrier to getting it done. They had a fixed-price model and didn't like the idea of making changes, given that it would end up costing them money. This didn't work at all. We had an hourly relationship with Mobindustry, with a clear pricing mechanism in place. There was never any doubt as to what was going on and the process was very simple. I haven't used any other offshore companies, but I'd be happy to use Mobindustry again.

Are there any areas Mobindustry could improve?

In 1-2 cases, I had the impression that Mobindustry was building a feature without thinking about how it would actually work. Our platform is very similar to Facebook in terms of functionality, which is something that Mobindustry didn't think through entirely, and simply did what we asked them to. Most of the times, if something didn't make sense, they'd let us know and propose different solutions.

""I mostly appreciated the fact that Mobindustry told us the truth, both the great things and the problems."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We create in-app competitions. I am the Chief Executive Officer of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobindustry?

The platform being developed was an in-app competition which could accurately be described as America's Got Talent meets Shark Tank. We handled all pre-production in the UK, but needed a company which could build the code quickly, efficiently, economically, and well.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Mobindustry developed our software for iOS. Mobindustry also recommended and budgeted an Android version of our app.

How did you come to work with Mobindustry?

My CTO [Chief Technology Officer] at the time was an incredibly experienced person who had worked for Bebo in the US. We had a preseeded fear that utilizing an overseas app builder, could be problematic. He traveled to Ukraine in order to spend a week with their team and to also look at other options. He came back with a recommendation.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project with Mobindustry has been completed.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our CTO found the code written by Mobindustry to be very clean. The platform is robust and it did its job.

How did Mobindustry perform from a project management standpoint?

I found Mobindustry's project management to be excellent. There were little hurdles, but nothing major.

What did you find most impressive about Mobindustry?

I have a lot of respect for Mobindustry's principal, who has tremendous integrity and decency. I come from the TV industry, and this was the first app we've ever built. I mostly appreciated the fact that Mobindustry told us the truth, both the great things and the problems.

Are there any areas Mobindustry could improve?

At the end of the day, there was a territory, language, and time difference, but there was nothing for Mobindustry to improve.

**The Review** — Aug 30, 2016

**Feedback Summary**: The client's experience was overall favorable. They understood requirements, offered alternative solutions, delivered on time, and provided good quality. The client highlighted Mobindustry's ability to address issues quickly and good project management skills.
""They're a good team, they understood our requirements, and were able to add some value by clarifying items and offering alternative solutions."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We're a Microsoft-stack software developer. I am the Director of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobindustry?

We were looking to build an Android application for our customers. We needed external assistance which we could add to our internal skills.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We scoped and designed the project internally. Mobindustry was tasked with taking our designs, turning them into technical requirements, and delivering on those. Mobindustry also handled testing and provided us with a hosted test environment for source code. Mobindustry's involvement wasn't end-to-end, but it consisted of a good part of the development required.

We worked with 3 developers, testers, and a project manager from Mobindustry.

How did you come to work with Mobindustry?

We found Mobindustry on a freelancing website. We were looking to find partners which could support what we were looking to do. Outsourcing deals usually start with a relatively small project. Mobindustry did well and delivered some good work for us, so we involved them in a bigger project.

How much have you invested with Mobindustry?

The total cost of our project was between $10,000 and $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The total duration of the work was 8-9 months, and involved around 10 phases of development. This project has been completed, but we're using Mobindustry for other ongoing work.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The experience of working with Mobindustry has been favorable. They're a good team, they understood our requirements, and were able to add some value by clarifying items and offering alternative solutions for the particular problems which we presented. Mobindustry's quality is good, the delivery has always been on time, and they were quick to turnaround any issues which we identified. I've had a good experience, and will continue to work with Mobindustry.

How did Mobindustry perform from a project management standpoint?

Mobindustry always assigned a project manager to our work. We usually dealt directly with him, rather than with the developers themselves. I'm a technical person myself, so I can engage in complex tasks. Mobindustry has always been quick to address issues, and their project management is good.

What did you find most impressive about Mobindustry?

Mobindustry is good in terms of communication. I've worked with many outsourced partners, and found that communication is key. Good written and spoken English is also important, and Mobindustry was good in this regard.

Are there any areas Mobindustry could improve?

Whenever working with outsourced partners, there can't be an expectation of work being done right 100% of the time. I was sensible regarding my expectations, and Mobindustry has delivered according to them.

"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We are an investment company. I am the CTO.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobindustry?

I have used Mobindustry in the past, while working for an online greeting card company, as well as while acting as a freelance CTO for a UK app provider. I always used Mobindustry in order to quickly and cost-effectively prototype apps and websites, without having to hire in-house resources.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

I am using Mobindustry for excess work within my current organization, either on the frontend or iOS. They offer more of an out-staffing solution, than an outsourcing one. A developer from Mobindustry will work closely with my own team, on a one-to-one basis. Over the past 6 months, I've used frontend, backend, PHP, and iOS resources from Mobindustry for help in our projects. For the frontend parts, the coding has been done in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

How did you come to work with Mobindustry?

I think that I found Mobindustry through a recommendation.

How much have you invested with Mobindustry?

The cost of Mobindustry's work has been between $30,000 and $50,000 on a yearly basis.

Mobindustry's developers are between good and excellent.

How did Mobindustry perform from a project management standpoint?

Mobindustry's project management team is very good and communicative, which is what makes them stand out. They follow an Agile methodology, with 2 weekly sprints. The project manager from Mobindustry is very good at gathering requirements and turning them into tasks for developers, who deliver on time at the end of those 2 weeks.

What did you find most impressive about Mobindustry?

As a company, Mobindustry is small enough to care about each individual project.

Are there any areas Mobindustry could improve?

Not in this particular case.

## Portfolio & Awards

### Sanbuk - Adventure and experience booking app
Our client is a Kuwait-based startup Sanbuk Adventures, that came to us with an idea to build a yacht booking application. The idea was to create two separate apps: a customer-facing application for booking yachts, boats, and trips, and an app for yacht owners, who would describe their services and manage their bookings.
As this product evolved after the launch, we significantly scaled its functionality and services. Now it’s a large marketplace for booking all kinds of adventures and experiences, from sailing and horseback riding courses to resort and tour booking. Currently, users can book these kinds of activities in Sanbuk, that are also represented in the app filters: kayaking, boat trips, chalet, sailing, SUP, windsurfing, yoga, kitesurfing, motorcycle courses, tournaments, arts and crafts, resorts.
The main challenge of this project was to scale a small application and turn it into a large marketplace platform. To do this, our development team needed to make significant changes to its architecture and create additional features to cater to a large variety of experience and adventure service providers. We also needed to fully redesign the search and filters functionality in order to provide effective search for the app users.
We provided full-cycle development and support for this project, from defining the idea to developing the app and releasing it to the app markets. We created a technical specification based on our client’s business requirements for a boat and yacht rental app. After our client decided to expand their business, we developed an extended version of a technical specification and developed a mobile marketplace.
We also created UI/UX design for both versions of the applications, and integrated a Kuwait-based payment gateway Tap, that’s popular in the Middle Eastern market.

### Contract Management System - SaaS
Our client ContractsRX decided to create an online platform for analyzing, managing, and scoring business contracts. For this, they needed Mobindustry's web development expertise.

Our client had a vision of a product that would move all work with legal documents online. This product would allow businesses to compare contracts, assess contract risks, sign contracts online, and store them in a digital repository.

Scoring documents was the core idea of this project; however, during the business analysis phase, we came up with an idea to provide all the functionality needed for companies to run their contracting processes fully online.

The whole project started just as a single tool, but as we added new functionality, it grew into a large SaaS platform. Now, it contains multiple services:

MARQup — a contract model tool that allows users to create new deals faster and see the key contract terms with assigned risk value and an overall health score of the whole contract.

SumTracts — a contract summary engine that analyzes all signed contracts with the same party, and determines if the current contract fits the overall contracting relationship. Its contract summaries feature highlights key information in each agreement and show potential risks.

ClickTracts — a contract signing tool that allows users to add edit and manage contracts as well as sign them online in just one click. It also provides reusable contract templates.

PayTracts — a contract payment feature that allows users to collect payments just as the deal is being signed.

### Allo. Ecommerce App Development
eCommerce mobile application for the largest retail in Ukraine.
The app provides access to the Allo online marketplace and allows to compare products and place orders. It is possible to find the nearest stores and search for products by location.
We have implemented
The client has one of the leading online marketplaces for electronics and a number of other products and related services in Ukraine. At some point, the project of reaching customers via mobile experience was incepted and MobIndustry was selected to implement it.
The project supposed building the mobile app Android and iOS versions providing eCommerce and brand communication functionality.
After the first app versions were delivered and usage statistics analyzed, our team participated in several discussion rounds, which resulted in a series of user and customer experience improvements. This stage brought not only technology changes, but also some business process fine-tuning to support the omnichannel strategy of the client.
Among produced solutions, our team integrated the WayForPay payment service, so users can pay orders directly in the app, and introduced TagManager, a powerful Google technology to collect, synchronize, and analyze usage statistics.

### Commercial logistics application
Our client decided to create a customer-facing app to increase customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and brand awareness. They were successfully operating across Europe but felt the need to provide better support to their customers and unburden the customer support team.
For this, they needed to create accessible software that would keep customers updated on the progress of deliveries while also providing additional services.
Parcel tracking and management were the core of this project: we needed to add all features to make it possible. During the business analysis phase, we offered to build additional features that would increase customer loyalty and decided to include them in later versions of the app.
For the minimum viable product (MVP), we chose these main features:

Personal profiles
Geolocation and displaying of nearest post offices
Parcel status tracking
Parcel management (e.g. the ability to change the delivery address)
Settings
Push notifications
In-app customer support calls
QR code scanner

We chose native technologies for this project to achieve the best quality and performance; we created native apps for both Android and iOS, adapting each to its platform for the best user experience.
After the initial release, we started to gather the first data about end users, their behavior, the app’s performance, and more. This helped us to create a list of improvements.
As a result of this analysis, we decided to rethink the user experience (UX) and made the most popular screens more visible and accessible for users. For example, the onboarding screen was too cluttered, so we reduced the amount of information we requested from users and made the onboarding process easier. This immediately decreased the bounce rate.

### Food Delivery App Development
Our client is a food delivery startup that decided to build a food delivery system that would connect customers with restaurants and the delivery fleet. For this, our client needed three applications: a client app, a courier app, and a restaurant dashboard.
Our client came to us with an idea for a food delivery application for their startup. They had a vision of their project, but didn’t have any prior experience in working with an outsourcing development company, and didn’t have any concrete technical requirements.
We offered our client to start with a discovery phase, where we would formulate the technical requirements for the future product, and turn our client’s idea into a working business project. This way they would get a clear development plan, and then decide whether they’d like to continue working with us, or choose another way to bring their project to life.
For this project, we needed to create comprehensive technical documentation that would serve as a fully-fledged guide for any development team that would take over the development process in the future. We decided to start with a client application and set up a series of meetings with our client to discuss their business goals and ideas.
It took us three meetings over the course of one week to extract the requirements and start working on the documentation. Because our client was about to enter a rather competitive market, we also conducted:

Market research
SWOT analysis
Competitor research
Target audience analysis
Proof of concept

### Telemedicine App project
Our client is an entrepreneur with a medical background that decided to build a telemedicine application after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. They wanted to find a way to provide subscription-based medical services remotely. They only had a vision and examples of other telemedicine products, so their initial request was for an IT consultation, during which we suggested technologies and gave a preliminary estimate.
The client shortlisted Mobindustry as a potential vendor, and after we suggested a few options for technologies and the MVP, they chose us to build their telemedicine mobile application from scratch.
The idea was to build a telemedicine application that would allow patients to receive medical consultations online without having to visit a doctor in person.
They also wanted to allow doctors to provide online prescriptions to patients as well as order lab tests. After we went through a discovery phase and extracted the main requirements for the telehealth platform, we recommended that our client starts with an MVP.
The MVP included the following features:

Login and onboarding
Personal profiles
List of available practitioners
Online calendar and scheduling
Video chat
Voice chat
Text chat
Ability to attach files
Search and filtering by name and specialization
Geolocation
Doctor profiles
Doctor ratings and reviews
Insurance
Settings
Visit history
Payment gateway
Subscription logic
Push notifications

After the successful MVP launch, we added:

Access to the client’s EHR
Online prescriptions
Lab test ordering
Integration with wearable devices
Symptom assessment
Preferred pharmacy
Healthcare guides

We chose this technology to be able to implement an MVP version of the app in the simplest way possible with a limited budget. To implement the back end, we used Firebase. This allowed us to set up the app fast and meet our client’s time-to-market needs.

Ecommerce app development services

### Developing the calendar app for logistics
Our client is a logistics company that decided to build a corporate secure calendar that is able to recognize hand-written notes and speech and help drivers, warehouse workers, and managers to schedule shipping and receiving of goods. They had a clear vision of how a calendar should integrate into their everyday business processes, but didn’t have any concrete technical requirements.
Our team offered to start with an IT consultation where we could extract the main requirements and suggest technologies for their project. After the consultation, our client chose us as their vendor, and we started the discovery phase of the project.
Our client’s idea was to build a calendar application that would give shippers and carriers an opportunity to schedule and track their shipments.
They also wanted to sync the calendar with their existing CRM and a corporate messenger that would allow every member of the supply chain to be on the same page.
As we went through the discovery process, we extracted the main requirements for the future logistics calendar and recommended our client start with an MVP.
The MVP included these features:

Login through a corporate email or a mobile number
Personal profile
Calendar interface
Scheduling
Active shipments
Shipment history
Documents
Ability to attach files
Search and filters by order and location
Geolocation
Insurance
Settings
Push notifications

Because the drivers, managers, and warehouse workers use all kinds of devices from desktop computers and laptops to tablets and smartphones, we suggested Flutter, as it can be adapted to any screen from a single code base. Flutter would help our client to save budget significantly and avoid developing apps for each platform individually.
For the web part of the application, we offered our client to go with PHP paired with  MySQL. We also created an admin panel for our client to manage their shipments, employees, and payments and optimize delivery by transferring packages between the vehicles.
