I’m a director of a company that provides emergency evacuation products that prevent people from inhaling toxic gasses at fire-risk events.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mindcob?

We needed to improve our previous website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mindcob was responsible for designing and implementing our WordPress website from scratch. They redesigned the pages and migrated the content from the old website to the new one. 

We requested a website design that looked credible, user-friendly, and would retain attention. Mindcob selected a color scheme and included calls to action. 

They’ve also been involved in producing some content for us and rewriting some of the previous website’s content. Additionally, they created a brochure for our business.

The team provides site maintenance and applies changes. Currently, Mindcob is putting together a proposal for digital marketing and SEO.

I’m working with Zeeshan (Co-Founder), who in turn works with a team he debriefs. 

How did you come to work with Mindcob?

I was working with a developer who couldn’t help me with web design, and they recommended Mindcob.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent less than $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Mindcob has done a first-class job in redesigning our website. Zeeshan is also very punctual with deliveries and communication, which is quite rare in my experience.

I’d worked with offshore companies in the past that had been unreliable, had poor communication, or hadn’t kept up their promises. Meanwhile, Mindcob has done everything they said they would do and more. 

How did Mindcob perform from a project management standpoint?

Mindcob delivers on time and within our budget. If for any reason they’re ever running late or have any problem, they ensure I have advance notice, which is all I want. 

Things don’t go to plan from time to time; for instance, I may not have provided a document they needed, or they may be running a bit late, which is perfectly fine with me as long as they communicate. 

We typically use WhatsApp for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed by Mindcob’s reliability and punctuality. They’re on top of everything, and their communication is excellent. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I really can’t criticize them, to be honest.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would strongly recommend Mindcob — their team is pretty much on the ball. I would advise letting the project flow naturally; give them instructions, and they’ll respond to those instructions immediately.

I am the design engineer and the outreach and PR manager at SG Power Distribution, a UK-based company that deals with power distribution designs for residential and industrial sites.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mindcob?

We were working on reshaping the company's image and hired Mindcob to build a new website for us. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of the involvement?

Mindcob developed an entirely new website based on the new company image we cultivated. We provided them with our ideas, and they responded with design proposals. We worked together to finalize the basic site structure and number of pages we wanted. Mindcob put together written and graphic content that we then added to. 

Finally, Mindcob created the basic site skeleton and developed the website, which has just gone live. 

What is the team composition?

I only worked with Mindcob's CEO, but a larger team worked on content and graphics in the background. 

How did you come to work with Mindcob?

We found Mindcob through social media, visited their website, and viewed their portfolio. We then contacted them and met with a respectful teammate who was open to our ideas. During our initial meeting, that teammate presented us with several offers based on their experience in the field. I hired them because I liked their approach to the partnership — they wanted to build the best product they could for the company they partnered with. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $600–$700 on the entire project with Mindcob.

What is the status of the engagement?

We worked with Mindcob from January–November 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since the website only went live last month, it is too soon to provide metrics like site traffic. However, I've gotten a lot of positive feedback about the work Mindcob did from the people I've shown the website to. 

How did Mindcob perform from a project management standpoint?

Mindcob managed their time well and responded promptly to messages — they executed all the requests I made within two days. I appreciated their speed because we had a tight timeline. 

Their customer service was excellent; Mindcob was very cooperative and open to our creative ideas. Mindcob's team was available at all times — we communicated via WhatsApp and had video meetings on Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I liked the enthusiasm and the originality Mindcob brought to their work. During other experiences with web development companies, they've provided a basic template and delivered what they thought we needed. I appreciated that Mindcob went into the project with an open mind and listened to what we wanted. 

Mindcob was also very supportive, even though the project took longer than a standard website development job. Their team was very patient and guided us through the entire development process. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We could've improved the specific project details before finalizing our contract. 

Any advice for potential customers?

I would advise customers to have an informal, exploratory discussion with Mindcob before signing a contract. That way, the customer has an idea of their overall goal and how Mindcob will achieve it.
