Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

I tasked Mind Roots to build a Native Mobile app from scratch for Catholics.  The vision I had was for a prayer app that worked just like a streaming service such as Netflix. I am a UI UX Designer professionally so I needed to pair with Mobile Developers to code the app behind the User Interfaces that I designed in Photoshop.

I designed about 20 screens and Mind Roots delivered the first version for Android and iOS in just 3 months.  Lightening quick.  That was version 1, 4 years ago. Since then Mind Roots has delivered about 20 more versions and we are now at version 5.2 and the app is loved by it's users who use it everyday.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. Database
2. Backend Admin Console to manage users / payments etc
3. iOS Mobile App
4. Android Mobile App

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Mind Roots and Manik who manages the developer teams that work on my app, is extremely responsive. I hear from them pretty much daily. They fix bugs and issues within 24 hours. And it's great in the United States because I tell them something and with the time difference in India, the bug or new feature is resolved when I wake up the next morning.
They are always on time.
Because I am a designer, I am very specific about the User Interface having to operate perfectly and the features working the way I think them up in my head or see them in other apps. MindRoots is very patient with me in this creative process.  It is a true collaboration between us, and they continue to iterate until the feature is exactly how I ask it to be. They never said no to something unless it wasn't technically feasible, which was rare.

What was your primary form of communication with Mind Roots Pvt Ltd?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have now worked with Manik and Mind Roots over 4 different major digital products over the past almost 8 years. These are mobile and web products that have databases, payment systems and backend user and admin control. They even help me with complicated details of my hosting company as well. Mind Roots always delivers on time and budget, and their technical and programming expertise is the best of any offshoring AND local (United States) software development firm.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mind Roots Pvt Ltd could have done differently?

No improvements needed.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The dev team delivered end-to-end design and development for SmoreAI.io, including the full product experience (UX/UI), the marketing website, and the underlying web application.

They led the project from discovery through launch—translating our vision into a cohesive user journey, designing core flows and screens, and building the production-ready web app and public-facing site. This included structuring the information architecture, creating responsive UX/UI across devices, implementing front-end and back-end functionality, and ensuring the platform was stable, secure, and ready for real users. They also handled deployment and launch support, including QA/testing, bug fixes, and iteration based on feedback.

Key deliverables included:

Full SmoreAI.io web application built and implemented (production-ready)
Complete marketing website design + development (responsive)
End-to-end UX/UI design (user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, interaction patterns)
Front-end build (responsive UI, core screens, user journeys)
Back-end/API development to support app functionality (as applicable)
QA/testing, bug fixes, and launch readiness validation
Deployment/go-live support and post-launch iteration support

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project resulted in a fully functional, production-ready web application and marketing website launched on schedule. Key outcomes included a complete end-to-end product build (UX/UI, front-end, back-end, and deployment), enabling us to move from concept to live product without needing additional development vendors.

From a usability and execution standpoint, the platform shipped with all core user flows implemented, responsive performance across devices, and a stable production environment. The delivered UX reduced internal iteration cycles and allowed us to onboard early users immediately after launch. Post-launch, the product required minimal rework, with only incremental enhancements rather than structural changes.

Most importantly, the delivery of SmoreAI.io allowed us to begin real customer conversations, demos, and pilots—turning the product from an idea into a tangible, usable platform that could support revenue discussions, fundraising, and user validation.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management was excellent throughout the engagement. Communication was consistently prompt and reliable, and they were highly responsive to questions, feedback, and evolving requirements

They operated more like true partners than a typical vendor proactive, trustworthy, and aligned with our goals. Deliverables were well-organized and met agreed timelines, and when priorities shifted, they adapted quickly without friction.

Most importantly, they required very little micromanagement. The team took ownership of the work, made thoughtful recommendations, and executed independently while still keeping us informed. This level of accountability and trust made the entire process efficient and low-stress.
